At Startup Weekend Kabul, Afghans will come together over three days to pitch their ideas and form teams to market their businesses. Selected participants will obtain invaluable mentorship from top business leaders in Afghanistan and develop the skills to bring business ideas to life!

Ahmad Fahim Didar
Founder & CEO of AGHAEZ

Ahmad Fahim Didar is the founder and Executive Director of Aghaez Professional Services Company, he is one of the few people in country whose academic and professional background combines the expertise of both business and information technology. With MBA Degree in Information System and 14 years of professional experience; Mr. Didar has been involved in setting up number of startups companies and has launched number of international brands in Afghanistan. Mr. Didar is also director of silicon valley based Startup Grind in Afghanistan. Mr. Didar has founded the first private business incubator of Afghanistan “Startup Valley”.

Farshad Mirzaiee
VP of MEND Afghanistan

Farshad Mirzaiee studied BBA in AUAF and is a current student of the ACCA qualification. VP of MEND Afghanistan and is working on social entrepreneurship. He aims to cultivate a culture of social and civic engagement through entrepreneurship and business in Afghanistan. He and the MEND team have worked on the E-Watch mobile application for monitoring the election process in Afghanistan. This initiative's purpose was to ensure that the Afghan citizens take part in the election as well as to have observation on the election transparency.

Naikbeen Naikpay is the founder and CEO of SmartMaktab, a company that digitizes the School Education Subjects and aims to make learning quicker, easier, fun and interesting with multimedia rich content.  Prior to founding SmartMaktab, He was the Technical Manager at RN Technologies. 
Naikbeen Naikbeen holds a BA degree in Psychology & Educational Science from Kabul University and a Diploma in Information Technology. He loves Teaching, Blogging, Reading, and Gaming.

Anurag Maloo is an Indo-Asian startup innovation Community Architect. As a Regional Manager for South & Central Asia with Techstars and Startup Weekend, he is responsible for the cultivation and sustained growth of vibrant startup ecosystems in India, SAARC nations (Pakistan, Bangladesh, Nepal, Sri Lanka, Bhutan, Afghanistan, Maldives) and Central Asian countries (Kazakhstan, Tajikistan, Kyrgyzstan, Uzbekistan, Turkmenistan). He is incredibly passionate about fostering entrepreneurship, innovation ecosystem, grassroots leadership, and building strong collaborative startup communities. He has been involved in various startup initiatives, community empowerment and leadership development programs, and bringing innovation into the corporate world. With his proven track records of experience cultivating key influencers within diverse geopolitical regions, Anurag has succeeded in creating inclusive startup communities in turbulent and struggling, yet developing ecosystems and emerging economies of Asia. His interests range from entrepreneurship to education, startups to sustainability, social impact to grassroots innovations, and peace building communities. Murteza Zargar is a manager at Pax Pupoli Online Academy and co-founder at Lifecode Software Development Company. He has a bachelor’s degree in Computer Science from Kabul University. Murtaza has been working as volunteer in TedxKabul team and CodeWeekend in the past. Also he has been involved in mentorship in iLabs and Startup Weekend several times in the past. He is eager to contribute to startup ecosystem in Afghanistan through mentorship to new startups.

Masuma Rasuli Founder of Eliss Fashion. she has studied Computer Science from Kabul university. 
She was one of the Organizer as secretary of GIMUN HERAT 2017.
