Amel Chenouf
Researcher
She is a researcher at Centre de Devéloppement de Technologies Avancées; CDTA.She is working on R&D projects within Microelectronics Division as Integrated Circuit Designer.
Amel is a member of IEEE, IEEE Women in Engineering (IEEEWiE), and DZ Women in Technology (DZWIT).Amel is a TechWomen alumna (2012 Edition). In 2015, she has been selected with Nassima Berrayah, Ouafa Benterki, Douache Djamila, Racha Bia, and Benhamou Amina in the 54 notable Woman in Tech in Middle East and Africa among the emerging leaders of the program during the period of 2011-2014.Amel has been volunteering in IEEE conferences since 2014. She received a Certificate of Appreciation from IEEE Test Technology Technical Council; TTTC for providing outstanding student volunteer services for IEEE International Design and Test Symposium 2014 (IDT).Since then, she has been serving as the Publication chair of IDT.
Amel has also volunteered as a coach in Startup Weekend events: in Startup Weekend Women Algiers 2013, and in Startup Weekend Women Maghreb 2014. She qualifies this coaching experience as a win-win activity where coach learns from mentees as well as they learn from him (her).
