Sabur Khan
Chairman of Daffodil International University (DIU) & Daffodil Group

Entrepreneur, ICT Personality. While Mr. Md. Sabur Khan started his business in 1990, his intention was to contribute to society through business and empowering people. During glorified career of a quarter century, Mr. Khan has established different wings, one by one, under the large shade of Daffodil Group; has been involved in lot of large-scale projects and successfully managed to find sure solutions for ICT service and education. He was the President of the Bangladesh Computer Samity (BCS). Mr. Khan, former President, Dhaka Chamber of Commerce and Industry (DCCl),represented Federation of Bangladesh Chamber of Commerce & Industry (FBCCl),and different National & International bodies. Very recently Md. Sabur Khan has been elected as the Chairman, Global Trade Committee and also Director of World IT & Services Alliances (WITSA) -World’s highest IT organization. He is a self -made businessman and is working hard to be amongst top Business Leaders of Bangladesh & International Business World. In the year 2013, he is awarded with “Asia’s most inspiring Nation Builder Award.In the same year he was also awarded amongst the “Top 10 Business Leader in Asia”. Mr. Khan thinks his ultimate destination is not achieved yet and he has been ceaselessly making his every effort to place this nation to a very potential level through booming his present organizations and implementing his future dreams. Bangladesh government has awarded Mr. Md Sabur Khan, with the status of ‘Commercially Important Person’ (CIP) for his role. During the year 2013 Mr. Khan initiated a challenging project to create 2000 new entrepreneurs. He has written & published several books: “Handbook of Entrepreneurship Development”; “Uddokta Unnoyon Nirdeshika” (Entrepreneurship Development Guideline) and “A Journey towards Entrepreneurship” (on Progress).

Tanveer Ali
Partner, Inflection Ventures

Born and raised in Toronto, Tanveer Ali is an Executive Director at Inflection Ventures, a seed-stage tech fund with investments primarily in Silicon Valley; Inflection Ventures’ portfolio includes companies such as CapLinked, NanoSatisfi, Vidcaster, Mattermark and TigerTrade. Their most recent exit, GateGuru, was acquired by TripAdvisor in June 2013.He is an Executive Director at Avarice Investments, a Singapore-domiciled investment fund focusing on manufacturing and mining. At the age of 17, Tanveer started his first company, Toronto-based Opening Bell Investments, an investment finance consulting practice.Tanveer is also an Executive Director at Olympic Industries, a publicly-listed, family-controlled consumer goods manufacturing company. The largest producer of biscuits in Bangladesh (including household favourite Energy Plus), Olympic completed its implementation of SAP ERP and Avaya IP Office under Tanveerís leadership.Tanveer has a BA in Political Science from the University of Waterloo.


Sajid Rahman
CEO, Telenor Health at Telenor Group

Mr. Sajid Rahman is currently Chief Executive Officer of Telenor Health at Telenor Group. He is an experienced international leader with exposures in emerging markets of South-Asia, Africa, Middle-East and South-East Asia. He has board-level experience in banks, managing a wide range of businesses and taking them through M&A and integrations. He was the country retail banking business head of Standard Chartered Bank in Bangladesh, West Africa and Indonesia. He managed businesses of balance sheet of more than billion dollars and built very high performing businesses while managing a multi-cultural team.Mr. Rahman is also actively involved in building startups as well as high performing SMEs. He has brought in the first silicon valley based accelerator, Founder Institute, to the country and is a director of Founder Institute. He has a very strong global network within the technology space, ranging from US to Europe to Asia, and is considered a thought-leader in this area with regular columns on topics related to investments and global trends. He is also instrumental in bringing the required financing to a number of technology companies in Bangladesh and helping build the next “Facebook” on our soil. He is a mentor to Endeavor Indonesia, a US-based organization accelerating the growth of mid-size companies to billion dollar level. He is an active investor and board member of a number of technology companies in Asia and US. He is also a board member of UDGEL – the first utility scale wind turbine project in the country.

Adrianna Tan
Founder

Adrianna Tan is a Singaporean entrepreneur who was named "Power Women in FinTech" and "Top Female Entrepreneur" in 2015. 

She is based in Jakarta, Indonesia, where she founded Wobe, an innovative take on financial services for the low income segment in Southeast Asia. Wobe puts the power of micro-entrepreneurship and payments into the hands of millions around the region, with a particular focus on prepaid phone airtime and other digital prepaid goods. 

Previously, she worked with the likes of Yelp, Uber, Pozible and mig.me, and also founded and ran Pen to Pixel, a digital agency which crafted mobile and social games and apps for multi-nationals. Since 2013, she is also the founder and managing director of The Gyanada Foundation, an education non-profit working to improve access to better education for Indian girls.


Anna Rehermann
Growth Hacker

Anna is a passionate serial entrepreneur with a strong background in Digital Marketing and Growth Hacking. She worked with Rocket Internet and Team Europe Ventures, two leading global venture builders, to set up and maintain the complete range of digital marketing activities for some of their ventures and develop tactics to grow them quickly and sustainably.  Anna also co-founded an edtech startup and recently launched her latest venture called Growth Hacking Asia, with the goal to flip the success rate of Asian startups from 1/10 to 9/10. Anna also works as advisor, mentor and trainer focusing on digital marketing and growth strategies for early stage startups. 


Sajid Islam
Founder

Returned to Bangladesh in 2013 after 18 years in the USA with the dream of being involved in Bangladesh's startup ecosystem. With that idea in mind, he launched Shetu.org – a startup mentorship program. And in 2014 he launched Hubdhaka - a coworking space that is revolutionizing the way startups, freelancer and individual professionals work in Bangladesh.


Lutfi Chowdhury
Head of Sales at Green and Red Technologies

Lutfi  Chowdhury  has over  9 years  of  experience  in  the  field  of sales and marketing. Born and raised in Dhaka, Bangladesh, Lutfi received a degree in Marketing from the University of Sudbury in the UK. While in London, Lutfi gained valuable experience, first as a Marketing Supervisor at  Xtec Communication Ltd. (2007-2009), and then as a Customer Relations Officer at Siemens Metering Service (2009-2010).
Since returning to Bangladesh, Lutfi has broadened his marketing portfolio to include digital media. He worked briefly at ClickBd.com (2010-2011) before being hired at Bangladesh’s largest online ad network, Green and Red Technologies. At G&R, Lutfi has taken on the responsibilities of Head of Sales and actively manages numerous client portfolios.
In addition to these responsibilities, Lutfi is now a Google Product Trainer and in his free time trains Bangladeshi professionals in best practices for advertising on the web.

Anurag Maloo is an Indo-Asian startup innovation Community Architect. As a Regional Manager for South & Central Asia with Techstars and Startup Weekend, he is responsible for the cultivation and sustained growth of vibrant startup ecosystems in India, SAARC nations (Pakistan, Bangladesh, Nepal, Sri Lanka, Bhutan, Afghanistan, Maldives) and Central Asian countries (Kazakhstan, Tajikistan, Kyrgyzstan, Uzbekistan, Turkmenistan). He is incredibly passionate about fostering entrepreneurship, innovation ecosystem, grassroots leadership, and building strong collaborative startup communities. He has been involved in various startup initiatives, community empowerment and leadership development programs, and bringing innovation into the corporate world. With his proven track records of experience cultivating key influencers within diverse geopolitical regions, Anurag has succeeded in creating inclusive startup communities in turbulent and struggling, yet developing ecosystems and emerging economies of Asia.
