This free workshop by guest speaker Thomas Van Durme will guide you through the way to start a startup in the AI world. You will experience all the different phases that it takes from immature ideas to reach a final product.
It is designed not only for participants of Techstars Startup Weekend Brussels Artificial intelligence (Nov30-02 Dec) that want to prepare their experience, but ALSO for any AI or startup enthusiasts with lots of questions in their minds.

Thomas Van Durme is a computer science/aerospace engineer, entrepreneur and founder of ThinkNexT.
Thomas has a master in engineering specialised in Computer Sciences, Artificial Intelligence (AI) and Electronics as well as a master in Space Technology and Applications. Following graduation,Thomas started working at the European Space Agency (ESA) on AI in the field of mission control systems.
In 2011 he co-founded ThinkNexT. ThinkNexT specialises AI applications and prediction applications in the customer service domain with its cornerstone product Orion. Orion is an AI platform enabling enterprises to take automated action on customer questions. Over the past years ThinkNexT carried out projects in the field of utilities, aviation and healthcare. Among others, their clients include Eneco Belgium, the University of Maastricht and the U.S. Air Force.
