Together with an awesome group of people, you will work during 54 hours on the development of disruptive and sustainable businesses that leverage circular economy to improve our lifestyle. At Startup Weekend, you will unleash your entrepreneurial energy to come up with innovative businesses that have the potential to transform our society.
You will also:
- Pitch your idea (if you want to; it's an open stage format)
- Form a team of people you do or don’t know
- Interact with some of the toughest industry experts specially invited for the occasion
- Present your business model to a panel of expert judges and win prizes
- Challenge yourself and learn new skills
- Test the limits of sleeplessness

My mission is to help people express themselves, make their voice heard out there, and get the results they strive for. I studied translation, then digital marketing as well as lean and agile project management.
I’m running Lean Avenue, a project aiming to help companies stay lean in their direct marketing strategy, campaign management, and lead generation process. Besides, I have been involved in NGOs Startup Digest and Startup Weekend leading teams of volunteers and event organizers in Brussels.
I’ve recently managed European Startup Network, a community of 24 countries gathering European startup associations in order to help startups and foster collaborations between various actors of the startup ecosystem in Europe.

Michel supports organisations and entrepreneurs developing cooperation, agility, innovation and a sustainable performance. Actively involved in multiple startup communities, he coaches startups and animates hackathons and conferences. He collaborates with accelerators, incubators, business schools and public institutions in Europe.
Michel is Facilitator at Startup Weekend, author of the Hackathon Canvas and co-author of ParticipAgile.
