Sonam Tobgay

A software engineer by profession and works as a Senior ICT officer for the Department of Information Technology and Telecom, Ministry of Information & Communications under the Royal Government of Bhutan (RGoB). Currently, he is leading a project to develop whole of government Datahub system for the RGoB. The initiative will develop a common data/service exchange platform for the government enabling seamless exchange of information among government information systems/apps and realize integrated service delivery. The initiative will be further developed in 2017 to incorporate single-sign-on (SSO) for citizens to avail online services. 
Over the last ten years in the ministry, he has contributed immensely towards the development of e-Government within Bhutan. He developed one of the first G2C e-Services (issuance of online police clearance) in 2009 and was later deputed to Prime Minister’s office in 2010 as a part of core team to improve G2C services under Improving Public Service Delivery (IPSD) initiative. 
He graduated from the University of Western Australia with MS in Computer Science and also he is TOGAF 9.1 trained and certified. To keep up with his profession, he is personally keen on developing software and had won two mobile apps contest held at national level in 2016 and 2017.

 Vijay is from Samtse, Bhutan, and holds a Masters degree in Computer Science from Bhathidasan University, Tiruchirapalli, Tamil Nadu, India. After finishing my M.Sc IT, I worked for two years in Rigsum Institute of IT & Management in Thimphu as a principal and corporate trainer. Before joining RTC, worked in India as an Associate Developer in Drupal and PHP. He is also the Founder and Chief Technical Officer at IDruk Solutions, a software development firm based in Thimphu

Jigme Thinley Yoezer Rinzin
founder of a tech startup Druk Ride

Jigme Thinley Yoezer Rinzin is a founder of a tech startup company called Druk Ride based in Bhutan. He has a  bachelor degree in commerce from India. DrukRide was founded on a simple concept for travelers in Bhutan to book a Bus ticket online using Druk Ride app / website at their convenience, not having to go all way to the bus station.

Kristyna Troneckova

Kristyna is a psychologist and has been a doctoral student of  Psychology at Masaryk University in the Czech Republic. She has been doing a research regarding GNH and spirituality in a multicultural context. Kristyna presented her outcomes at  psychologist international conferences in Singapore and Sri Lanka. She has also experience from exchange study programmes and internships worldwide. Studying and research at Aarhus University and City University London has indicated her interest in advertising, branding and business psychology. She has been studying Journalism at Masaryk University and her articles were published in various travel magazines. 

Matous Hurtik
Online Marketing Freelancer

Matous has been working in various Marketing & Sales positions for more than 8 years. Last 3 years he is an Online Marketing Freelancer working for numerous companies on multiple projects. He worked with companies from US, China, Dominican Republic and CE region. His specialization is in SEM (Adwords certified) and social media (Instagram & Facebook). He likes working with startups as well as well-established companies. Outside of his work he likes traveling & sports. 

Sonam Choden
PR and Media Officer

Sonam Choden hails from Thimphu, Bhutan. She holds a Bachelors Degree in Journalism from Surana College affiliated with Bangalore University in Bangalore, Karnataka, India.   She was selected as a Reporter right after her graduation in 2005 with the National Television Broadcast media, Bhutan Broadcasting Services Corporation. She was the Bureau Head looking after Mongar and Lhuntse Dzongkhag with the organization and later in 2011 promoted as the Public Relations and Media, Head for BBSC.   After serving for almost eight years with BBSC, She joined the World Wide Fund for Nature for two years as the Regional Communication Officer under the Living Himalayas Initiative. Her job entailed to look into communication between Bhutan, Nepal and India through the initiative.   And in 2014, when Business Opportunity and Information Centre was established, she joined the newly formed company, as the Assistant Director, looking after the Public Relations and Media of the Centre. To this date she works with Rural Enterprise Development Corporation Limited as the Head, PR & Media with the same responsibility as well as the core resources person for the corporation.  

Tshering Namgay
Fund Counselor, REDCL

Mr. Tshering Namgay works in Rural Enterprise Development Corporation Ltd. as a Fund Counselor. He joined REDCL in 2016. He did his Bachelors degree in Commerce (Accounting) from Gaeddu College of Business Studies and during his final year in the college, he assisted in coordinating the “Global Skills Enhancement Centre” to develop and promote Literary skills.  

Lhakyi Tenzing
Analyst, Department of Investment, DHI

Ms. Lhakyi Tenzing is working as an Analyst under the Department of Investments at Druk
Holding and Investments Limited. She also worked in the Private Sector Development Division
at DHI where she was mainly promoting entrepreneurship and working with young entrepreneurs
interested in starting or expanding their businesses.
She completed her master’s degree in MSc. Financial Economics in the University of Exeter, UK
with the support of the Chevening Scholarship and completed her Bachelor of Commerce
(Honours) from Shri Ram College of Commerce in Delhi University, India.

Chencho Chencho

Head of Government Performance Management Division under Office of the Prime Minister
Prior to the current position, he worked as a Senior Planning Officer, Perspective Planning Division under Gross National Happiness Commission and as a       Systems Manager, ICT Unit, Gross National Happiness Commission.
He possesses skills and experience in Strategic Planning, Results Based Management and Planning, Monitoring and Evaluation, Organizational Performance Management,     Enterprise Systems Architecture Development and System Analysis and Design
He holds a Masters  of Applied Science (Information Systems)  from Royal Melbourne Institute of Technology, Melbourne, Australia.

Full stack developer with more than 10 years industry experience with Java EE and related frameworks such as Spring, Hibernate, etc. Currently helping WSO2 customers to digitally transform with the WSO2 Product stack.

Ltd (Cambio Healthcare Systems AB) and at Virtusa Pvt. Ltd. I am specialist in middleware solutions, software performance testing and test automation. 
I have obtained my master’s degree from University of Moratuwa in MSc Artificial Intelligence. I have a bachelor’s degree in Software Engineering from the University of Westminster, UK with First Class Honours in BSc (Hons) Software Engineering and hold Sun Certified Java Programmer certification from Sun Microsystems.
