Have you ever wanted to start your own business? One in the likes of Facebook, Twitter and maybe Google?

Startup Weekend is where you can make it, together with like-minded people. Working together with teams, mentors and fellow entrepreneurs to find your business model, idea validation and prototyping in 54 hours, you are not only learning to build a startup, but also get yourself ready to launch your products.

Startup Weekends are weekend-long, hands-on experiences where entrepreneurs and aspiring entrepreneurs can find out if startup ideas are viable. On average, half of Startup Weekend’s attendees have technical or design backgrounds, the other half have business backgrounds.

Beginning with open mic pitches on Friday, attendees bring their best ideas and inspire others to join their team. Over Saturday and Sunday teams focus on customer development, validating their ideas, practicing LEAN Startup Methodologies and building a minimal viable product.

We will have a special lecture during the afternoon on Sunday by Toptal's community manager - Asia Lindsay (@AsiaLindsay).
Born in Hong Kong, schooled at Oxford and now living everywhere and nowhere as a digital nomad, Asia leads the Europe community for Toptal, a network of the top 3% of developers and designers. Prior to Toptal she worked on growing the community at TED and Thousand Network.

On Sunday evening teams demo their prototypes and receive valuable feedback from a panel of experts.

What are you waiting for? Go and build the next big thing!
