Sila Chy
CEO - Sabay Digital Corporation

A serial entrepreneur, Chy Sila founded his first business in 1998 with seed money of $500. Having earned experiences as a tour guide and then in advertising & design, Sila and his partners went on to find CBM Corporation in 2002 and Sabay Digital Corporation in late 2007. CBM consists of 8 brands of F&B and catering services while Sabay Digital is an internationally respected digital entertainment company with core competencies in online gaming and internet publishing. Sila is also a director of the Platinum Cineplex. A Dynamic and idea-driven entrepreneur, Sila represents the new breed of Cambodian businesspeople. Professional and approachable, with a youthful outlook and passionate commitment to the growth, education and prosperity of all Cambodians, Sila is innovating Sabay Digital into a full fledged entertainment company, expanding its portfolio into media, music, cinema and filmmaking.

Divon Lan
Emerging Markets Entrepreneur

From 2007 to 2016, Divon was with Google where he was responsible for "Frontier Markets" and focused on extending Google's infrastructure, products and programs to reach people in developing countries as well as working on the ground in 50+ developing countries throughout Asia and Africa, to help grow and empower the local technology communities in these countries. Prior to Google, Divon was the founder and CEO of a technology startup in Silicon Valley and Israel. Divon holds an MBA from the University of Pennsylvania - Wharton and a B.Sc. in Computer Science from the Technion Israel institute of technology.

Sophalla Chea
CEO - Emerald+

Travelled to around 20 countries in Europe and Asia, Mrs. Chea Sophalla has over 15 years of working experience on In Building System and Infrastructure; she started from an Accountant to Business Development Manager and up to Corporate Director of Business in a leading Telecom company in Cambodia. Throughout the years of experience in touching base with building owners, she believes that facilities management standard of buildings in Cambodia still needs to be elevated to a professional level; therefore she found Emerald+. Known best for sealing the deal and taking a great care of customers, she also believes that learning is never an end; therefore, she has been working on some intensive courses in Singapore on property management and an online course of New York University on property management as well. Sophalla engages half of her time from managing her 6 companies with the community; she’s now a Board of Director of Young Entrepreneur Association of Cambodia, Executive Vice President of Junior Chamber International Cambodia, and a newly elected Vice President of Kampong Speu Chamber of Commerce.

Tomas Pokorny
CEO - WorldBridgE Commerce

Tomas started his career in an aviation industry and till date he still holds a commercial pilot license. He then shifted into the finance industry and from a quantitative trading and assets 
management for small and medium sized family firms worked his way up reaching the network  of relatively prominent clients from USA, Middle East and SE Asia.

He has bachelor of science in aviation engineering and holds MBA in finance management. Since his entry to Cambodian market, he has operated mainly in alternative finance sector with focus on banking integrations and security aspects of online payments on the corporate (management and negotiations) level.

Tomas now heads MAIO MALL – a large scale Cambodian online shopping solution which he has established and operated since 2014 for WorldBridgE Commerce. In February 2015 he acquired a small (app 30 staff members), yet experienced BPO business, which now, under the name of WorldBridge Outsourcing Solutions reaches clientele from USA, Germany, Australia, Japan, Korea and more, and which is, with its 500+ employees, one of the largest BPO entities in the country.

Tomas participates as a lecturer, panelist and guest speakers on various in and out of country events mainly with technology, finance and online business focus with strong passion and specialty for blending technology and social science. He co-chairs e-Business Working Group and Committee under British Chamber of Commerce in Cambodia, participate as an advisor to chairman for banking integrations regional firm, currently establishing his own consulting online-based-agency business and taking his part in the new start-up venture in an 
alternative payments industry.

Steven Path
CEO - Pathmazing

Mr. Steven Path (47) is Chairman and CEO of Pathmazing Inc and is Chairman or Director of four other technology startups in the US, Malaysia and Cambodia. Pathmazing is the global strategic technology partner of ten startups in the area of biotech, e-commerce, automotive, retail, games and social media. Over 60 passionate developers, software engineers and designers are deeply engaged in these startups located in the United States (MedVoice Biotech, Cargigi, uKnowKids, TTC), Malaysia (CarBengkel), Singapore (Wiz Werx, EpiCentre, Blue Bird) and Cambodia (FanNow, Savada). Mr. Path oversees all operations world-wide to ensure the consistent delivery of world class solutions for all our partners. Pathmazing also has significant equity ownership in four of these companies. One of them is MedVoice Biotech where Pathmazing helped build an app with patent pending technology from scientists with background from MIT and Harvard to recognize voice pattern that correctly identifies the user's illness with 85% accuracy. After living in the US for 33 years, including 25 years of technology innovations and leadership experience, Mr. Path returned to Cambodia to build a leading global app and web solution company. He is a natural entrepreneur who started his first internationally-acclaimed software company at the tender age of 14. At the age of 25, Mr. Path was recruited as CTO of a technology startup eBenX, which he later reaped big financial rewards after the firm had a blockbuster IPO during the first US Internet boom – firm valued at nearly $1 billion during its first month of trading. On the heels of this success, Mr. Path started other successful IT companies and provided IT leadership and consulting services to Fortune 100 companies, including UnitedHealth Group, Prudential and Wells Fargo. A company he co-founded called EmergingSoft is currently owned by a leading event and meeting management company with clients in 75 countries.

Oko Davaasuren
Regional Director at Techstars

Oko (Full name: Bat-oktyabri Davaasuren, Даваасүрэн овогтoй Бат-октябрь) is an active founder and a community builder. He has cofounded and helps run several startups in Asia. Oko has received a bachelors degree in Finance from Portland State University before continuing onto a masters degree in Engineering Technology Management but decided to return home to Mongolia. He then received his MBA in Mongolia. When he is not working, he can be found on Squash courts or on long-haul Motorbike rides in Asia.

Chansamrach Lem
Executive Manager - Cambodia Investor Club

Mr. Samrach has been managing and coordinating a private and social investment fund more than 6 years. His experience includes business strategy & financial strategy planning; investment sourcing, screening, analysis, due diligence, monitoring, and evaluation. He also involves and oversees the daily operation of management team to seek for establishing proper governance and mutual benefits. Other than that, his experience also includes teaching management and finance at Royal University of Law and Economics, and internship as Data Analyst for Economic and Firm Research Center in France. Prior to that, Mr. Samrach holds Master’s degree in SME Management and International Business from Université Lumière Lyon 2, France.

Vantha Kheng
Co-founder and Managing Director - Biz Solution

Mr. Kheng Vantha is now a Co-Founder and serve as a Managing Director of BizSolution company. He had graduated bachelor degree in economic information technology from University of Law and Economic in 2006 and master degree in business administration from Paññāsāstra University of Cambodia in 2010. He has accomplished many achievements such as, No. 3 national award in creating Khmer language website from Cambodia Internet Olympic, first creator of Khmer dictionary and Khmer keyboard for Symbian OS phone, Window mobile and for MAC OSX computer.

Darren Jensen has 14 years of professional software development experience working for a number of industries including Banking, Insurance, Telcos, Directories and Startups.

Akira Morita
Founder - Design Kompany

Akira Morita is 1/2 of Design Kompany, a roving design consultancy with clients in North America, Europe and Asia. DK has helped hundreds of fellow small businesses and organizations find their soul and express it fully—architects in need of words and pictures that uniquely express their life and business philosophies, software engineers needing creative help in development of a gamified mHealth mobile app., a startup icecream shop wanting to make a splash. He is passionate about helping organizations adopt design as a multi-disciplinary approach to problem solving, and is a starting member of Design Phnom Penh, a local initiative of Cambodia's design curious and practitioners.

He is currently on hand as a resident innovation design consultant at Development Innovations, a USAID-funded initiative aimed to promote and nurture innovative culture in the field of social change in Cambodia.

Sirko Kemter
Founder - 101 Design

Sirko Kemter has more then 20 years experience in software development, he worked and works for various free software projects. Since more then 10 years he works as graphical designer with focus on graphical design for software projects. He wrote a book about Inkscape and how to use it for graphical work and gave/gives a lot of lectures how to use free software for daily work. Currently he works for the Fedora project as an Ambassador and in the Design Team.

Hemy Pich Ros
Technical Program Manager - Golden Gekko

Hemy has spent the last 12 years of her career in software development organizations and companies where she involved in technical and leadership roles. She started her career early as a software developer and has been building various tool for Khmer language computing such as Unicode conversion, collation, word segmentation, spell checking. Then, she jumps into management role as development manager at Digital Divide Data where she build and leads a software team to deliver software projects to the client and the internal departments within the organization to improve the productivity and efficiency of the data entry operator.She is now Associate Site Head of Project Management at Digital Management Inc (previously known as Golden Gekko), the leading mobile solutions company in the world. She is responsible for managing mobile app solution projects toward key clients such as Heathrow International Airport, Anheuser Busch InBev, Brand Vegas and various startup companies which involve her building various mobile solutions and platforms including local offer, mobile ticketing system, mobile loyalty card management, mobile coupon system, mobile selfcare system.She has both computer science and management education background, and she holds certified scrum master professional from

Soliya Kong

Soliya Kong (Jay) has been in Sales and Marketing for the past 4 years, working with companies to grow their brand especially via Event Marketing. In January of 2015 Jay and 3 other co-founding members won 2nd in startup weekend. which is the company that they are working at till today. It’s a delivery service called Joonaak. As of December 2015, Joonaak has over 50 partners ranging from Online shop to Private sector and even Embassy. He currently is in charge of Joonaak daily operation, including business development, sales and customer support. He has a degree in Communication and Professional Sales from the University of Washington. 

Borey Chum
Founder - Luxury Machine and

Borey Chum is an e-commerce entrepreneur, enterprise business application & solutions consultant. Worked for one of the leading SI company in Cambodia before found Luxury Machine and Prior working for an SI company, Mr. Borey taking care business application division working on building a hospitality business units and currently a integrated hospitality are still using by major local & independent hotel in Cambodia. After, he found a company name Luxury Machine, providing a eCommerce solutions for hotels in Cambodia and quickly become dominated in the market. Alex Halse
Head of Business Development - Business Essential

Over 20 years in the sales industry in UK and Cambodia, working with leading international companies such as Cable and Wireless Group, Direct Line Insurance UK, Royal Bank of Scotland and Thakral Singapore, The Capacity Specialist and Forte Insurance. I work with B2C and B2B, my focus is on outsourcing solutions for clients at executive board level. My main strength the areas of people development, able to deliver insightful and enjoyable training programs as well as being a dynamic key note speaker. 

Nadia Wong
Executive Director - Cambodia National Business Plan Competition

A former corporate lawyer, Nadia supported firms like Alibaba, Tencent and Blackstone Group in mergers and acquisitions, financing, private equity and initial public offerings. She hopes to continue to support businesses but now at the startup stage. Nadia has been lecturing on law, and entrepreneurship in Phnom Penh and is currently the Executive Director of Cambodia National Business Plan Competition, an annual competition to inspire and mentor young entrepreneurs in developing their business ideas. She is also spearheading the development of a business incubator and co-working space in Phnom Penh to provide ongoing support to entrepreneurs. Nadia hopes to encourage young entrepreneurs to develop sustainable solutions to problems in the region and to develop a collaborative, giving and taking community that would enable entrepreneurs to thrive.

Currently, he is a leader of Open Event. He used to work as a librarian at MeanChey University and work at Open Institute.
