Le Startup Weekend HEC Montréal, propulsé par la Société de Relations d’Affaires, sera enfin de retour les 11, 12 et 13 mars 2016. Cette année, le thème portera sur l’économie de partage.

*À PROPOS DE L’ÉVÈNEMENT*

Le Startup Weekend est une compétition entrepreneuriale où les participants ont 54h pour mettre en place un projet d’entreprise viable. Celui-ci sera ensuite évalué par des professionnels de l’industrie. Cet évènement, maintenant perçu comme un accélérateur de projets, vise à offrir aux participants une occasion d’apprentissage unique, se basant sur l’action, l’innovation et l’éducation. Le Startup Weekend débute le vendredi soir, avec les « pitch fire » et se poursuit sur tout un weekend, pendant lequel les participants bâtissent leur projet, allant du plan d’affaires au prototype. L'évènement se termine le dimanche soir avec les présentations des projets à un jury de spécialistes et de professionnels.

L’ÉCONOMIE DE PARTAGE*
L’économie de partage est en plein essor et elle apporte de nouvelles solutions, mais surtout de nouvelles opportunités d’affaires. Elle offre aux entrepreneurs la possibilité de réunir des utilisateurs autour d’un besoin commun et de créer une solution profitable à tous.Que ce soit pour l’hébergement, la finance, les transports, les médias, le commerce de détail ou les services, l’économie de partage a un impact social sur tous les secteurs économiques et ce, dans une perspective durable.

The Startup Weekend HEC Montreal, powered by the SRA, will finally be back on March 11th, 12th and 13th. This year, the theme will focus on the sharing economy.

*ABOUT THE EVENT*
The Startup Weekend is an entrepreneurial competition where participants have 54h to create a viable business project. The project will then be evaluated by professionals of the industry. This event, now seen as a project accelerator, aims to offer participants a unique learning opportunity, based on action, innovation and education. The Startup Weekend begins on Friday night with the "pitch fire" and continues throughout a weekend, during which participants build their project, from the business plan to the prototype. It ends on Sunday night with the final presentations of projects in front of the jury composed of experts and professionals.

*THE SHARING ECONOMY*
The sharing economy is a growing economy, bringing new solutions, but especially new business opportunities. It gives entrepreneurs the possibility to bring users with a common need and create a profitable solution for everyone. Whether it is for accommodation, finance, transportation, media, retail or services, the sharing economy has a social impact on all economic sectors, in a sustainable perspective.

*WHY PARTICIPATE*
The Startup Weekend offers an opportunity for participants to go from an idea to a business project, while being surrounded by professionals. This event is the occasion :
  • to learn from experience, putting into practice your knowledge;

Tickets will be on sale after the free conference “Réveillez l’entrepreneur qui est en vous” on February 10th.
