Jeff Lem
President, Portable Intelligence Inc.

Jeff started out as an auditor for a major Bay Street accounting firm and left after 9 months when he discovered his formula for happiness: freedom.  So began his entrepreneurial journey; after a couple of false starts (or as he calls learning events), he caught success with a national systems integration company that he grew to $40M. In early 2015 he successfully exited and is now in the “disruptive phase” of his career – developing the next generation of warehouse management systems with Industry 4.0 technologies.  His companies have been on the Profit 100, CDN Top 100, and in 2009 he received The Award of Merit from The Association of Chinese Canadian Entrepreneurs. He now divides his volunteer time at the Entrepreneurial program at The Schulich School of Business where he is on the Dean’s Advisory Council for Global Competitiveness and Entrepreneurs Organization where he holds a number of leadership roles including Toronto Chair of the Global Student Entrepreneurial Awards competition.  Jeff holds a BBA, MBA and recently obtained his P.MM, a professional designation in materials management. Fun Fact: Jeff is a certified spin instructor and runs classes out of the company’s indoor cycling studio.
