在本創業週末版中,我們將使用香港的母語粵語,讓您在充滿樂趣和放鬆的環境中執行您的想法。 

時間:7月26日至7月28日

什麼是創業周末?

創業週末(Startup Weekend) 是一場全球性運動, 給一群活躍的創業者學習創業基本知識,,並開展更多成功企業。  創業週末是世界上最大的激情創業者社區,迄今已在全球 150個國家舉辦超過 2900 場活動。由蒙古到南非,到倫敦到巴西, 世界各地的人都聚首在週末的研討會上 pitch (投售), 組隊及創業。

由Google for Startups提供支持的“創業週末”是一項非營利創業教育活動,匯集了創新者,營銷人員,開發人員以及設計師。在短短的54小時內,您將表達自己的想法,並組建團隊或加入其他人的團隊,進行市場調查,構建產品,並在評委和潛在投資者面前展示您的業務內容。

創業週末是一個學習如何在三天內將您的想法付諸行動的好機會! 內容包括:
- 介紹初創公司和創業的世界 
- 了解對您的想法採取行動的過程 
- 與香港經驗豐富,才華橫溢,充滿激情的企業家會面 
- 加入或組建一支全明星隊伍 
- 建立有意義的聯繫,成為全球社區的一份子
- 學習和練習新技能,以恢復工作或提高你的簡歷

任何人都可以成為改變世界的英雄!

這次的創業周末有什麼不一樣?

教育對未來社會影響深遠。社會需要培育更多人才,才能推動香港未來的蓬勃發展。創業週末希望籍著這場活動,讓更多人深入了解香港教育的核心問題,聽取各位對教育範疇的意見及心得,從而找出未來的教育方向和解決方案。

是次的創業週末的討論內容主要圍繞著“未來的教育”,包括以下三大研討範圍:

Ms Ada Wong, JP黃英琦
Convenor & Director, The Good Lab Founder and Chair, Make A Difference Institute

Ms Ada Wong has led a varied and boundary-crossing career as lawyer, local politician, cultural advocate,
educator and social innovator.  She has been involved in major cultural development, creative education social innovation and civil society issues and policies via her ventures and public service.

She founded the Hong Kong Institute of Contemporary Culture (HKICC) and Hong Kong’s only art high school, HKICC Lee Shau Kee School of Creativity. She then founded Make A Difference (MaD) Institute (www.mad.asia), a regional platform to advocate Creativity for Good and inspire the next generation of innovators. Her latest social venture is The Good Lab (www.goodlab.hk), a co-working space and hub for tri-sector social innovation and entrepreneurship.


Coaches and Mentors


Mr Henry Tam
Co-founder, Design for Hong Kong

Henry is a designer who has a strong passion to bring creativity back to Hong Kong. He co-founded Design For HK to nurture innovators in leading change for tomorrow's world. Design For HK works closely with different schools and teachers to plant the seed of creativity into Hong Kong’s education system in a collaborative manner. “Creativity is about being yourself and doing what you love.” Henry believes that education is a platform to discover your own gift by exploration of creativity.


Mr Samson Ng
Head of Design & Strategy, PALO IT

Samson has 15+ years of experience in UX/UI design (web/mobile/desktop applications), front-end development, corporate identity formation, SEO/digital marketing, multimedia editing, copywriting for fintech startups, banks, big data & information search provider and luxury retailers.


Ernest Chan
Project Manager, AESIR Ltd

AESIR is an ICT Startup in Augmented Reality & Visual Design.


Mr Christopher Pang
Business Development at State Street and Co-Founder of SUSTAINHK

Christopher works in business development at State Street and is interested in ‘value and purpose’ business. He is passionate about sustainable development and human rights: he co-founded Hong Kong’s first Global Goals Jam and SUSTAINHK, and is a contributor to Resolve Foundation. He is a member of the Global Shapers Community, Hong Kong Hub.


Mr Jey Chan
Programme Manager, Inter Cultural Education

Hailing from the sunny country of Singapore, Jey studied under the Economics and Management program offered by the University of London. Since then, he has embodied ICE’s motto of developing a culturally diverse mindset by traveling to various places. He’s undergone military exercise at the desert of Jhansi, India, taught English at the high mountains of Kyrgyzstan, and was invited to give a speech for an education forum in Taiwan. He joined ICE in late 2014 and is now the Program Manager of ICE, hoping to inspire young adults to make international friends and learn about the world.


Mr Michael Au
Managing Director, District Capital.

Michael is the managing director of District Capital. The firm invests in socially innovative entrepreneurial teams with scalable solutions in tech, healthcare, and finance. Michael is a business development veteran who have helped two MNCs enter Asian market and achieve $100M annual revenue.


Mr Aaron Hui
Director, Business Development, AgilePoint

Aaron is Director, Business Development - AgilePoint, Founder of Roadside Foundation


Ms Natalie Chan
Founder of OWN Academy

Natalie was an engineer by studies, corporate by lifestyle, independent film producer by choice, and now an educator by freedom and mission.

Today, Natalie focuses her efforts in projects with educational and social purposes. Her recent production Dream On, is a doco-reality series with a social mission, helping marginalized individuals to believe in the power of their dreams. With education as her passion, Natalie founded OWN Academy with the undertaking of engineering an alternative education system in Hong Kong and beyond, providing personalized, decentralized and democratized education


Mr Sean Yeo
Director of Partnerships, 21st Century Learning International

Sean has spent the last 8 years working in the development and communication of curriculum across supplemental education, english education and the education of 21st century skills.


Ms Joyce Kan
Marketing & Business Development at Carshare

Co-founder of Carshare.hk, she oversees business development, marketing and PR.  Signed on collaborations with multinational car manufacturers such as Volkswagen, Hyundai, Renault etc.  Prior to joining Carshare.hk, she has work experience in Lane Crawford e-commerce department. She graduated from University of London with First Class Honors in Economics. She loves consumer web and online communities, and has always wanted to build a startup since young.  During her free time, she enjoys reading, dancing and wakeboarding.  She is also an organizer of Startup Weekend Hong Kong and Angelhack Hackathon Hong Kong.


Mr Lemon Kwan
Manager, Knowledge Transfer Office, The Education University of Hong Kong

Lemon Kwan has over 10 years of experience in knowledge transfer.  He has been worked in the knowledge transfer units of The Education University of Hong Kong and The Hong Kong Polytechnic University, and involved in research partnership, IP licensing, entrepreneurship and technology marketing. He initiated the first entrepreneurship funding scheme, the EASE Fund, in The Education University of Hong Kong. He also taught in the Dual Degree Program of Technology and Management in The Hong Kong University of Science and Technology. Before that, he was an engineer in the Jardine Group. Lemon graduated from The City University of Hong Kong with a MSc in Enterprise Technology and Management and a BSc in Applied Physics.
