About the event

  • Startup Weekend is all about taking an idea from concept to creation in 54 hours, it’s a unique and unforgettable experience 
  • A global grassroots movement, Startup Weekend brings together active and empowered entrepreneurs who are learning the basics of founding startups and launching successful ventures. It is the largest community of passionate entrepreneurs with over 2900 past events in 150 countries around the world.

Do I need to come with an idea? 

●      If you have an idea for a startup, then great! We hope you pitch for the weekend. 
●      If you don't have an idea, that’s ok too! Come and spend the weekend, listen to the ideas being pitched and then join a team to develop your favourite idea.

Welcome & Speakers
Review agenda for the weekend and introduce speakers, coaches, and community leaders

Pitches Start
Optionally line up to give your pitch

Voting
Attendees vote for the top pitches


9:15 pm
Form Teams
Teams start forming and discussing ideas


10:00 pm
Begin Work
Start to formalize teams and take an inventory of skills. Be honest, and direct about what resources and skills are needed for the weekend. You may stay and work as late as the venue will allow

Kristian Gambiraža
Business Strategy & Sales Process Advisor, Startups Mentor

Kristian has worked 13 years in sales, 7 years in management. Since 2015 he runs his own business with main focus - build businesses that sell. Through creating right strategies and building sales processes he enables mainly B2B startups and SMB companies to grow and reinvest or show ability to generate revenue for potential investors. Kristian helped companies like Bread, GFluence, ZLD and many others to build their sales from scratch. Recently he supported startups like Beenode, Neobonus or Tripinder (100-Day Challenger Award winner). Kristian is also active as a mentor at Czech Accelerator, Impact Hub's 100-Day Challenge and Impact First Accelerator.

Filip is Android developer at Ubiquiti Networks and Technology enthusiast. He would never miss opportunity to help start new projects.


Vlastimil Pěchouček
Founder of Onlinestrategie.cz

Vlasta is founder of digital agency Onlinestrategie.cz. He focuses on client acquisition and growth-hacking.


Tomáš Nečas
CEO and Creative Director of U+

Designer Tomas Necas is a graduate of the Academy of Arts, Architecture and Design in Prague. Design and UX have been operating for 10 years. At present, he works as CEO and Creative Director of U+ Design startup studio with offices in New York, San Francisco and Prague. He has worked for Škoda Auto, T-Mobile, E.ON, Zonky, Axa, Zoot, Economia and Dvorak Prague Festival in terms of ideas, user experience, usability and design for international clients and startups.

Hynek is currently engaged in the development of Nexter Company and Koreis-Brown
The biggest success so far has been the establishment, development and sell of startup Storyous last year.

Software Architect at Socialbakers

Martin currently leads a team of software architects and data-ops at Socialbakers. His duty is to maintain internal APIs infrastructure and help fixing about anything that breaks.
