From November 4th to 6th 2016, Paris hosted the 1st Startup Weekend dedicated to artificial intelligence. 

Now Paris organizers are back with a Global Startup Weekend on Artificial Intelligence !
11 Startup Weekends Artificial Intelligence will take place around the world simultaneously during two weekends. 

Data scientist, robotics specialists, developers, machine learning experts or amateurs? Come test your ideas and participate in creating the future of the French artificial intelligence at the Startup Weekend Artificial Intelligence - Paris Edition!

Startup Weekends are 54-hour events* designed to provide superior experiential education for technical and non-technical entrepreneurs. Participants create working startups during the event and are able to collaborate with like-minded individuals outside of their daily networks. All teams get the chance to get coached by entrepreneurs and industry experts. The weekend is centered around action, innovation, and education. 

With more than 4,000 events held in 150 countries since 2009 and a global community, Startup Weekend is often considered as the largest incubator in the world!


Whether you are looking for feedback on a idea, a co-founder, a team, or simply to experience the exciting entrepreneurial adventure for a weekend, Startup Weekends are the perfect environment!

Diplômé de Skema Business School, Pierre-Yves Aubert débute sa carrière en tant que consultant chez KPMG Innovation, puis rejoint Euratechnologies en tant que chargé d’affaires, puis responsable de l’accélérateur et désormais Directeur Entreprenariat & Innovation. Il est spécialisé dans l’accompagnement des entreprises du secteur du numérique dans leur développement (stratégie, financements, international). Il est également membre du Comité d’investissement du fonds Nord France Amorçage, membre du Comité Métropolitain du Numérique à la MEL (Métropole Européenne de Lille) et Ambassadeur Nord pour l’association France Digitale. Juliette Mattioli began her career as a high school teacher in Mathematics in 1982. Then, she joined Thomson-CSF research team, where she stayed from 1993 to 2001 as a Research Engineer. She became head of research labs. in Thales Research and Technology in 2001 and was appointed Strategy & Innovation Manager at Thales Technical Directorate in 2010. In 2012, she became senior expert and in 2017 she was appointed AI Senior Expert.
Juliette Mattioli has published a number of papers and articles. She has led many R&D projects for Thales Programs and National and European Projects (FP6, FP7, H2020).

Yann Lechelle
COO at Snips - Using AI to make technology disappear

Over the past two decades, from Paris to Los Angeles, via Cambridge UK and New York, Yann has been leveraging technology to help unlock business opportunities in various fields: financial markets with real-time trading platforms, cartoon animation with centralised asset management tools, project and yield management with social networks, digital art on new media, mobile app discovery with recommendation engine, mobile app monetization with innovative ad formats.

As an entrepreneur, he has founded or co-founded a number of companies, developing products that have reached hundreds of millions of end-users globally, often resorting to slick user interface design and offering innovative user experiences. 

As advisor, board member or angel investor, he is now tracking the progress of many more forward looking new business ventures.

At Snips, as COO, his role is to help the team and the tech grow to achieve escape velocity... towards a world where technology disappears and humans are empowered to reach their next stage of evolution.
