Ankit Buti is the founder and CEO of StartupEd, an entrepreneurship school and startup incubator based out of San Francisco, California. Ankit, born in New Delhi, India came back from United States, motivated to empower local students to become next generation of entrepreneurs. He graduated from Purdue University with a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science and a certificate in Entrepreneurship and Innovation. He also studied business and management at Stanford Graduate School of Business. Following his graduation, he worked as a Senior Software Engineer at Qualcomm Inc, in San Diego where he lead his project in collaboration with IBM. He then moved on to work at a private equity backed network and mobile security startup in Silicon Valley called Pulse Secure.
Ankit has worked on multiple large scale projects in the industry and has a whole breadth of leadership and technical experience. During his time at Purdue, Qualcomm, Pulse Secure and Stanford, he came about the idea of an entrepreneurship school in India and his interactions and learnings in different atmospheres, helped shape his idea. Consequently, he established his company in Silicon Valley and moved to India to build his customer base.
