Techstars Startup Weekend Hyderabad Women 2019 #GlobalSWWomen

Join The Global Movement!
54 hours to boost women-led entrepreneurship around

Global Startup Weekend Women Edition is all about empowering and strengthening women with building tools to pursue their dreams. The event is aimed at female participants, however, men are welcome to participate too! This is your chance to collaborate and get involved with a group of motivated individuals who are hell-bent on disrupting their industry of choice.

How it works?
Startup Weekend is organized in 150 countries. It is the largest entrepreneurship program in the world. Through the 54-hour weekend, the programs are designed to bring an intense, learning-by-action experience for each participant. Starting on a Friday night, participants will pitch their startup ideas and receive feedback from their peers. Teams will then be formed around the top ideas. This will be followed by business model creation, market validation, design and even coding and product building. Eventually, turning your ideas into reality! Experienced mentors and coaches will be coming in throughout the event to guide you through the hard problems.  We've got the resources and support in place to make things happen in a short period of time. Startup Weekends culminate in Sunday night demos and presentations with presentations in front of entrepreneurial leaders who will provide participants with critical and valuable feedback before a final winning team is chosen.

And GUESS WHAT? The winning team gets to send their representative to attend the GLOBAL SW WOMEN FINALS in October @ Singapore with other #globalswwomen winning teams!

Do you have an idea you'd like to pursue or a problem you'd like to solve but don't know where to start or who to start with?
Techstars Startup Weekend is the place to look for a team, create a prototype of your idea, validate your business idea, and receive feedback from experienced entrepreneurs, all in one weekend.

You'll pitch your own idea or listen to others, then vote on the most interesting ideas and form teams with diverse skill sets. The idea you pitch and the problem you set out to solve can span social, educational, financial, environmental, or other issues. Over the course of the weekend, you'll be challenged to create a prototype of your MVP, or minimum viable product, that fits the needs of your target customer. You'll get feedback, iterate, and likely pivot your approach entirely!

What do you need to bring?
You're going to need a LOT of energy! Everything else - we've got you covered.

Techstars Startup Weekend is a full weekend-long experience. Your ticket includes:
  • 6 full (and delicious) meals over the course of the weekend
  • One-on-one time with amazing mentors
  • A new network of developers, designers, and entrepreneurs eager, like you, to change the world.
  • Benefits and discounts from our global partners
  • Tons of goodies :)
  • All the internet and coffee you can consume!
Still have questions? feel free to reach us at

Wait no more. No talk, all action. This September, we want to have the most number of startup weekend women in the world, ever! And we want you to be a big part of it!

See what it's all about
