Form Teams
Teams start forming and discussing ideas

Begin Work
Start to formalize teams and take an inventory of skills. Be honest, and direct about what resources and skills are needed for the weekend. You may stay and work as late as the venue will allow

Wrap-Up
Time to finish making your plan for the weekend and head off.

Robbie Skuse
Co-Founder & Head of Product @ Kollect | Lead Organiser @ #swCork

Robbie is the lead organiser of Startup Weekend Cork, and so understands the intricacies involved with Startup Weekend. Robbie won a Startup Weekend with his current company, Kollect in 2013, and so knows what it takes to win. 
Robbie founded LaunchFair, a technology recruitment festival where talent and opportunity meet. These events mix tech-networking events with a social and relaxed setting bringing the  startups and talented individuals together. 
Robbie's business, Kollect, 
connects customers with licenced bin collectors, facilitating on demand booking and payment online. Route mapping technology pinpoints where each waste collection partner are on any given day. Customers book bin collections through Kollect.ie and we in turn sub contract collection to the next bin truck going past their home. It’s a simple pay as you go solution with no annual contracts or monthly fees.

Eamon runs the IGNITE Graduate Business Innovation Programme at UCC. IGNITE is a 9 month business incubation programme designed to help recent graduates turn innovative ideas into scalable businesses.

Eamon has significant experience working with early stage and start-up companies as a consultant, mentor and trainer since 2001.


Alpa Agrawal

I am a third generation chemical engineer in my family and have gained experience working in my family business. 

Bringing together the experience from the family business, Allmin provides a complete solution to the procurement process. We validate the manufacturing facilities, rigourously test the product and handle logistics and packaging in order to deliver the products at the doorsteps of the customer. 

Our major industry sectors include,  fertiliser, pharmaceutical, detergent and construction chemical industry. 

Being based in Ireland helps us to strategically tie up our buyers and suppliers as its in geographical centre of the globe. This helps us provide the best service to our buyers and coordinate with the vendors efficiently. 

We are 10 months in business and started with having one product in the portfolio to now when we are procuring over 20 products that we have grown with a requirement from the market.We are currently serving customers from United States, Middle East, parts of Europe including Italy and Bulgaria and South East Asia.

Brendan Finucane

I'm the CEO of a civic technology company called Vconnecta which I founded in 2012. Vconnecta works at the intersection between politics and community, between technology and relationships.
