Robbie is the lead organiser of Startup Weekend Cork, and so understands the intricacies involved with Startup Weekend. Robbie won a Startup Weekend with his current company, Kollect in 2013, and so knows what it takes to win.
Robbie founded LaunchFair, a technology recruitment festival where talent and opportunity meet. These events mix tech-networking events with a social and relaxed setting bringing the  startups and talented individuals together.
Robbie's business, Kollect,
connects customers with licenced bin collectors, facilitating on demand booking and payment online. Route mapping technology pinpoints where each waste collection partner are on any given day. Customers book bin collections through and we in turn sub contract collection to the next bin truck going past their home. It’s a simple pay as you go solution with no annual contracts or monthly fees.
