Philippa Main

Economics & Philosophy Graduate from the University of Nottingham, UK. Philippa co-started & ran the Universities Entrepreneurship society, Nottingham Entrepreneurs. As an avid hackathon and StartUpWeekend participant, she loves to discuss innovative ideas. Philippa previously worked as an event organiser, including logistical planning of 2 large TEDx events. Niccolò joined dPixel in 2011 as an associate. Today he coordinates the scouting & investment process in dPixel and acts as scout & coach for the Barcamper. Before dPixel, Niccolò worked in IT consulting and in corporate finance. He holds an MBA from Oxford University, a Computer engineering degree from the Politecnico di Milano and a MSc in Computer Science from the University of Illinois at Chicago. Niccolò is happy when playing with data, meeting great entrepreneurs and coding around. His current investment interests lie in SaaS, gaming and “platform” business models.

Can help you with: projects evaluation, understanding and facilitating possible enterprises network Christian Giacom holds a master degree in Sociology (Università di Trento, Italy) and a high school education on economic, accountancy and budget analysis. He had many working and life experiences around the world trying to combine the art of travelling and working knowledge. After being responsible of the logistic area of an international transportation company he moved to Trentino Sviluppo, the agency set up by the Autonomous Province of Trento to foster the sustainable development of the Trentino. Since 2010 he has been working as a member of Marketing and Territorial Development Department, operating in providing consultancy, services and support to potential entrepreneurs analyzing the idea, the business plan, the local market and the regional laws. From 2012 is promoting development’s projects created by Trentino Sviluppo and the Autonomous Province of Trento, on a national and international basis, with a special attention to the Mechatronic Innovation Area and the Foreign Direct Investment. He’s part of the T.E.A.M. (Trentino Enterprises Attraction Model).

After receiving his Law degree, cum laude, in 2005 at the University of Bari “A. Moro” Marco attended the School of Specialization in the Legal Professions at the same University earning in 2007 a diploma of specialization with the highest marks. In 2011 he obtained a Ph.D. in “Private law and new technologies” at the University of Bari “A. Moro,” defending a thesis on the topic of the relationship between the protection of intellectual property rights and the respect of fundamental rights of users of the network in the community and national disciplinary perspective. Marco has a Master in “Computer Science” from University of Turin, and a MS in Telecom – SSGRR- COREP - Polytecnic of Turin. He worked at CSELT S.p.A in Turin, Microsoft Italy in Milan and Microsoft Research External Research Office in Cambridge (UK), before leaving for a entrepreneurship experience in Barbados (West Indies). Since 2008 he has been working for Informatica Trentina S.p.A in Trento, where he has been involved in several projects on the Open Data, Data Integration, Innovation/Social Network thematic areas. Today is technical coordinator of "" and he is working on systematically get opendata from the Trentino's public information system. He is the coordinator of the “Trentino as Lab” Living Lab and he is part of the board Council European Network of Living Lab (ENoLL).

Giovanni Toffetti is currently a researcher in the Cloud Operating System Technologies group of IBM Haifa Research Lab. Luca Gambini
