Luigi Piero Ippolito
VP Innovation Magneti Marelli SpA

Luigi Piero Ippolito, is a mechanical engineer graduated at Politecnico di Torino in Italy. 
Currently he's in charge as VP Innovation at Magneti Marelli SpA, a world-wide footprint Company that designs and produces components and systems for the Automotive Sector. He started his cooperation with Magneti Marelli beginning 2000 as Senior Vice President for R&D and Business Development of a new Business Line focusing to chassis components and systems. 

His previous professional experience was gained inside Fiat Research Centre, where he built his technical and managerial career covering different position up to the responsibility for Chassis, 

Transmission and Vehicle Systems. From 2010 he is member of the CLEPA Board and beginning 2013 he joined the European Green Vehicle Initiative Association. He is also currently in charge as BoD member of ANFIA AUTOMOTIVE Scrl, CLUSTER Trasporti Italia 2020 and ERTRAC Automated Driving Task Force.

Giusy Cannone
Network & Investment Manager @ Italian Angels for Growth

Ph.D. in Industrial Engineering at Polytechnic University of Turin
Giusy coordinates the screening process, supports both the due diligence and negotiation, and the management of IAG associates' investments.
Beforehand, she worked at Intesa Sanpaolo, inside the Innovation department in the Corporate & Investment Banking division, managing Startup Initiative, a program that supports the developing of technological start-up. 


Alessandro Cipolli

Graduated in 2004 in Trasportation Design at IED of Turin, immediately starts his career following a concept car project in collaboration with Kia Motors Corea in Milan. In 2005, in Turin, he joins the Team of Advance Design, where he contributes to the style research for 500 Abarth, Lancia Delta and Lancia Ypsilon. After an experience as 3D Designer for Pininfarina, he goes back to the Fiat Group, where he will follow the developing of the new interiors for the range of Panda, 500 and others. In 2014 he joins the UX Design LAB of the FCA Group where he refines his skills as Interaction Designer. Simoultaneously with these experiences, from 2008 he starts his teaching career at IED. At the end of 2014 he undertakes a freelance activity, while still teaching for the Trasportation Design course. From 2015 he becomes Coordinator of the Master in Trasportation Design.

Christian Racca
Design Engineer @ TOP-IX Consortium

Christian Racca after graduating in engineering chose the TOP-IX consortium as the first work experience. In later years he developed technical skills, particularly on the issues of streaming and cloud computing. Over the past 2 years he has focused on web startups, by mentoring several projects on business model and infrastructure and by developing relationships with venture capitals and seed-angel investors. He is organising the second edition of BIG DIVE a training course for data scientists and #bigdata addicted.

Lucrece Mekogue
Controls System Safety Engineer @ GM

Lucrece Mekogue Dongue – System Safety engineer in General Motors Powertrain Europe. She was born in Camerun where she obtained her high school diploma. Very keen on technologies, she moved to Italy to pursue higher education studies in electronics. She received her Bachelor degree in Electronic engineering at the University of Parma. Then she completed her Master degree in integrated electronic systems at the Politecnico of Torino. Lucrece is holding a five-year experience in the automotive industry with extended knowledge in safety critical systems development and implementation according to ISO26262


Simone Barbero
Controls Engineering Group Manager @ GM

Electronic Engineering degree in 1998 at Politecnico di Torino, he worked in Fiat Auto, Fiat Research Center and Fiat-GM Powertrain joint venture from 1999 to 2005 as Control System Engineer, in charge of air and charging control development and calibration. He moved to General Motors Powertrain Europe in 2005, as Engineering Group Manager for Diesel Control Function Development team, being the functional and disciplinary lead in the definition of control requirements for GM Diesel engine controllers. In 2010, he became Development And Validation System Manager, responsible for engine calibration, development and validation of 1.7l and 2.0l Diesel engines. From 2012, he is Diesel Architecture Engineering Group Manager, with global responsibility for functional architecture definition of the Diesel engine control system.

Senior Technology System Engineer Diesel Advanced Engineering @ GM

Senior Technology System Engineer at General Motors. Since 2014 working on HMI and connected vehicle with the task
to develop brand new technologies for an active vehicle environment.


Davide Tealdi
Owner, ESSERE design

Graduated at IED Turin, Davide Tealdi has now years of experiences in the field of Transportation and Product Design, gained at Centro Stile Fiat, Italdesign, Idea Institute and Kiska (Austria). During his 7 years at Kiska he focused on 2-wheels vehicles and automotive design, but enjoyed also switching to other experiences and competences, such as marketing, brand and product strategy, clients relations. In 2006 he founded ESSERE Group, a multidisciplinary consulting agency; he also started his career as a professor, teaching at FHS Salzburg Kuchl and at Istituto Europeo di Design of Turin, where he is now Didactic Coordinator of the 3 year program in Transportation Design - BYT (Bike, Yacht and Train Design).
