Alan Amron
The Inventor of Press-on memo, today known as Post-it note by 3M

Alan Amron’s skill for inventing began in 1973 when he invented a product he called the Press-On-Memo (today’s product is known as Post-it Notes) which was a pad of paper with a sticky glue backing which could affix to almost any surface over and over again, only to stop production after generating $75,000 in sales because the cost to make the pads was prohibitive. While creating and patenting many other inventions, Mr. Amron invented, and personally generated significant income. For example, approximately $4,200,000 in income was generated from the Uzi/M-16/AK-Center fire battery operated water guns, which later transitioned into multiple versions of the Storm pressurized water guns by Trendmaster and Jakks toys which was a successful product known to the world of toy water guns. Mr. Amron has a long history as a highly creative inventor, promoter and innovative product market maker. He currently holds 40 United States patents, with 16 successful products licensed over the years, from battery operated steady stream water guns, to compact flash digital image pocket players licensed to Nikon Camera. Mr. Amron has personally invested many years, and personal funding, in the protection, development, and prototyping of inventions. Over the course of the last 40 years, Mr. Amron has lectured and developed in many industries and technologies and received patents that are the foundation of many business endeavors. Mr. Amron has been featured in USA Today, Toy World, Toy Book, The New York Times, The LA Times, The Washington Post, The London Times, The Daily Mail, The Post, The Wall Street Journal, The Daily News, Popular Science, People Magazine, Rolling Stone, Bloomberg News, CNN, CNBC, ABC News, and ESPN Magazine. Other product and inventions stories featuring Mr. Amron have appeared in many internationally recognized magazines as well.
