Marta A. Tomovska serves as a Deputy Minister for Information Society and Administration in the Government of the Republic of Macedonia. Frequent speaker and panelist at national and international ICT events and high-level conferences, she has always been passionate about how Internet and information technologies can help people, businesses and societies develop and grow. Mrs. Tomovska was awarded for achievements and extraordinary contribution to the development of ICT industry in the Republic of Macedonia, as well as on international level.


Vele Samak
Guru for attracting foreign investments, Marketing, Technology & Finance Professional, Entrepreneur, Runner

Vele Samak has been appointed Minister for attracting FDI four times since 2006 and is the most senior Government official executing policies to secure investment opportunities in Macedonia for some of the largest companies. Using direct campaigns and events, Minister Samak has developed relationships with hundreds of C-level executives across Europe, United States and Asia in many industries. Among the foreign investors in Macedonia, Samak is most responsible for some of the largest including Johnson Matthey (UK), Dräxlmaier (DE), Kromberg & Schubert (DE), Van Hool (BE), Marquardt (DE), Coficab (TN) creating more than 9000 jobs and more than $1B in exports annually. Prior to his Government role, Samak was leading marketing at Microsoft for SQL Server and BI products for the US enterprise market. Before joining Microsoft, Vele Samak was VP at Citigroup where he developed quantitative products to help investors implement investment strategies. With experience in two start-ups, he has early and strong technology and entrepreneurial background. Samak has BA in economics from The University of Chicago and an MBA in marketing from The Wharton School at the University of Pennsylvania.


Max Gurvits
CCC Startups

Max Gurvits is a US/European entrepreneur and investor. Graduated as a lawyer, Max founded an online legal services company in Amsterdam in 2008. In 2011, he sold the business and moved to Bulgaria, where he co-founded one of the biggest regional tech acceleration programs and funds (Eleven Startup Accelerator and EUR 12m seed fund). Active in Europe and the Middle East as startup advisor and (angel) investor, Max is particularly focused on Eastern Europe and the Balkans.
In 2014, Max co-founded CCC Startups, a partnership focused on investments and ecosystem-building across Europe and the Middle East, producing Startup AddVenture events and launching a new regional investment fund in 2015.


Chris Georgiev

Chris is web enthusiast and serial entrepreneur. During the last couple of years he is fully dedicated to Imagga - a cloud platform for image organization. Chris is actively involved in advancing the entrepreneurial ecosystem in Bulgaria. He is board member of StartUP Foundation, lead organizer of Startup Weekend Sofia, runs OpenCoffee Sofia meetups and curates Startup Digest Sofia.


Stephane Gantchev
Partner, LAUNCHub

Stephane Gantchev is Partner at LAUNCHub, a 9M seed fund supporting the most promising entrepreneurs and digital startups in Bulgaria and South Eastern Europe. Prior to Launchub, Stephane started his career in France, initially in the largest IT service provider company Atos Origin. He moved later to Orange (France Telecom) where he was Head of Innovations for the Orange France Mobile entity, discovering and trialing start-up in the mobile/telecom space. Stephane has been very active in the Bulgarian mobile and entrepreneur event scene contributing its grow, he co-founded in 2009 MobileMonday Sofia, and recently co-organized the DigitalK 2014, one of the largest conferences in the region.


Irena Chaushevska

Co-Founder and CEO of the first Accelerator in the Republic of Macedonia - the NewMan’s Business Accelerator (www.newmansba.com). Comprehensive working experience of more than 12 years at managerial positions in the following industries: Professional Education & Training, Career Development, Information Technology, Marketing, Advertising & Public relations, Media, Government. Stoyan Angelov

Serial entrepreneur that started his first business when he was only 18 years old, Stoyan is currently involved in a couple of businesses offering web and mobile solutions. He is the Co-Founder of Infozone, application for mobile and local search, as well as of Start It Smart, 10 week pre-acceleration program for early stage startups with an educational focus. Besides this, he is also running Silicon Drinkabout Sofia and he’s always open for chat and say cheers!

Assistant professor, Ivana Bilic, PhD, Faculty of Economics, University of Split, one of her teaching course is Entrepreneur workshop. Last two years dedicatedly supports startups as teacher on Microsoft Startup Academy, mentor on Shift conference and organizer of #3PSplit.


Ivan Ivanovski
CEO & Co-Founder, Lead Programming

Lead programmer and most experienced team member of Tesseract Interactive. As an aspiring software engineer and developer with tons of previous work knowledge he is developing the game’s core mechanics and features. As a student Ivan was chosen for two internships, the first at the University of Kent, UK in 2008 and then a year later he worked for SBPro in Poland. In both cases he worked as an intern software development engineer. After earning a bachelor’s degree at the Faculty of Electrical Engineering and Information Technologies in Skopje and before founding Tesseract Interactive, Ivan spent nearly 4 years as a senior software development engineer at NextSense, years that greatly enhanced his knowledge with c#, something that is essential for the development of Excubitor.


Igor Antovski
Co-Founder, Technical Artist

Igor occupies the Technical Artist position in Tesseract Interactive. As such his job is to design the game's GUI, create the particle effects and help with additional texturing when needed. As a student at the Faculty of Electrical Engineering and Information Technologies in Skopje he was granted an internship at the Helsinki University of Technology as an assistant in research problems of the Parsimonious Modeling group in the summer of 2009.


Ivan Jelušić
Business and Production manager at u:Plug

Business and Production manager at u:Plug, specialized in business development, negotiation and startups in general. Assistant to professor at Communications skills course at Faculty of Engineering Osijek. Experienced in banking, consulting and sales.


Aleksandar Jovanovski
COO & Co-Founder, Game Design

Lead 3D artist and co-founder of Tesseract Interactive. His love for games such as Raptor: Call of The Shadows, Tyrian and Nuclear Strike gave birth to the original concept for Excubitor. Aleksandar honed his skills as a 3D artist while on an internship at FX3X, a succesfvull VFX company set in Skopje, Macedonia. There he worked on hard surface modelling, something that is essential for the development of Excubitor.

Patrick Bosteels is serial entrepreneur with failures and successes. Co-founded Stage-Co & CodeDojo Turkey. He refer to himself as a cineast and photographer. He worked long enough on a farm to understand how difficult it is. Creative and always positive. Innovation to him doesn’t mean a sh*t if it doesn’t solve a problem in a sustainable way. He loves organizing and bringing people together. He is also active in Startupbootcamp Istanbul as Chief Connector.


Viktor Zuber
Lead Mobile Engineer

Software engineer with five years experience in building beautiful mobile apps for users around 
the world. Blogger with intense passion about technology and 
entrepreneurship. Founder of the Android Macedonia community, awarded 
as the best IT blogger in Macedonia for year 2013 and 2014.


Darko Buldioski

More than 10 years Darko is promoting new media, digital marketing, blogging and Social Media in the wider Balkan region. In 2010 he founded the award winning creative digital agency NewMediaMK and since has created some of the most innovative Social Media campaigns in the region. Darko is experienced speaker and professional lecturer and program director of the AllWebMK conference. He has several failed startup stories and one that occupies his present time. He and his team are working on BuzzBaseME - Social Seeding Platform that encourages interactions and rewards engagement from real social media influencers.


Aleksandar Curac Saric
A must-see presenter!

Aleksandar is simply a professional enthusiast. His background spans from all things related to design, copywriting and advertising and his talents have been utilized by many agencies and more than many privately owned firms. An active mentor role is something he can boast about since the start of the startup scene in Croatia. Weather it is advice on pitching your product or perfecting the design of the same product you can always find something useful by picking his brain. Laced with many years of experience in marketing and immense organizational skills - as that is the secret on how he is present in so many fields of impact. There is also the ever-present passion for the online with respect for the offline and that is why there is a strong chance you have been exposed to something Aleksandar has inspired or worked on. P.S. his presentations and lectures are a must-see as he is also a stand up comedian.


Aleksandar Kex Trpeski

Founder of Aranea Apps, the company that made the apps & the cloud platform for the first smart water heater, together with LEOV & SMD. With 4 years of experience in developing iOS apps & games, Aleksandar has worked with plenty of start-ups from around the globe. Always interested for a talk about the Internet of Things, Home Automation, Strategic Planning, Data Analysis, Mobile Monetization and everything Apple.


Saša Cvetojević
Insako d.o.o.

Saša Cvetojević is successful entrepreneur with extensive experience in the health sector, mobile telecommunication and FMCG distribution. He is owner of several companies and medical institutions operating on the Croatian market. He sold his pharmacy retail chain to Atlantic Grupa in 2008. Saša is specialized in human resource management, project management, management of health institutions and business negotiations. He is an active member of CRANE, Croatia Network of Business Angels - private investors interested in investing in productive and innovative companies in early stages of development. He is one of founders of ZIP (Zagrebački Inkubator Poduzetništva) - Zagreb Entrepreneurship Incubator and he is mentoring younger entrepreneurs and startup founders. Some of the projects in which Sasha has invested are already operating as established companies in the domestic and foreign markets and raising money trough equity investments. Saša is passionate about renewable energy, electric cars and new business models, so he is the owner of first Tesla S electric car in Croatia.


Vladimir Trajkovik
Full professor at University Ss Cyril and Methodius in Skopje

Vladimir Trajkovik is full professor at University Ss Cyril and Methodius in Skopje, at the Faculty of Computer Science and Engineering. His research interests include: Information Systems Analyses and Design, Distributed Systems, Educational Systems, ICT based Collaboration Systems and Mobile services. He has published 4 books as author or editor, has 10 chapters in different books published by international publishers, as well as more than 120 journal and conference papers. He has participated in more than 30 national and international ICT projects related to providing novel services in Macedonia or the region. He has coordinated more than 10 of those projects. He is co-founder or partner in five ICT companies (total current number of employees over 250), has done management consultancy in 5 ICT companies and has been mentor of 3 ICT companies in the last 15 years. He has organized or participated as invited lecturer, mentor or judge on more than 20 events related to promotion of ICT Entrepreneurship in the last 5 years.


Anis Sefidanoski
Innovation Partner at Makedonski Telekom AD

Anis Sefidanoski has won twice the first prize at the “National Competition of Young Researchers”, once in 1999 and once again in 2000. In September 2001 he enrolled at the "Universitas Studiorum Utinensis", the state University of Italy in Udine, at the Faculty of Natural Sciences and Mathematics. After being the first graduated in his class, he immediately started working for an IT company located in Northern Italy, as a developer of innovative multimedia and interactive systems. In 2007 he enrolled at the master studies at the "Alma Mater Studiorum", University of Bologna. In 2010 he enrolled and graduated to a second level master’s course of applied informatics, taught in English language by visiting professors and world experts in Computer Science and Business Technologies, held in Skopje and organized by the South-East European University under the faculty of “Contemporary Sciences and Technologies”. In the past decade Anis Sefidanoski has worked for several institutes and companies as a researcher and developer of innovative ICT solutions. In April 2013 he won the “Innovation Partner Contest" organized by Telekom, for developing genuine information system based on Artificial Intelligence. Anis Sefidanoski is the founder and CEO of Proarche, the Center for innovation, research and development located in Ohrid. He is also an ICT Innovation Specialist at the Macedonian Institute for Integration (MMI), and a teaching assistant at the Faculty of Informatics at the European University. He holds several certificates for expert level training, including the ECDL Expert Tester. Currently Anis is working on his PhD under the mentorship of the renowned scientist, Professor Dr. Biljana Percinkova.

Matija Goljar

After failing to set a guiness world record, Matija started working in the family business - an accounting consultancy. Finding it boring, he set off to start his first company at age 19, for which he raised investment and exited two years later. At that time he started teaching entrepreneurship in high schools as a hobby. Five years on, his teaching methods became Ustvarjalnik, a youth entrepreneurial sandbox, that covers 1/3 of the schools in the country and is now expanding its’ impact in new countries.
