CoffeeZone is a coffee enterprise that provides quality coffee to students in tertiary education and to the general public. We sell our coffee through lean mobile kiosks. CoffeeZone aims to provide equal employment opportunities to individuals who are differently-abled. In Malaysia, there are about 4.5 million individuals who are differently-abled. They face difficulties in getting proper jobs due to the perception that they cannot work as efficiently as able-bodied individuals. According to The Welfare Department of Malaysia, 80% of differently-abled individuals are currently unemployed.CoffeeZone provides barista training and employment to differently-abled individuals. In the long term and based on their ability, we plan to franchise the mobile kiosks to our beneficiaries to increase their independence and to provide them with a sustainable source of income to further uplift their quality of life.
