Turn your design idea into a Startup in just 54 hours!
Startup Weekend is your chance to learn how to put your idea into action within a matter of days! Whether you are looking to get introduced to the world of startups and entrepreneurship, to learn the process for going from concept to creation, to meet experienced, talented, and passionate entrepreneurs in Kuala Lumpur, to join or build an all-star team, to make meaningful connections and become part of a global community, to learn and practice new skills to take back to your job or beef up your resume and to get a feel for the event.
Startup Weekend is a 54-hour event designed to provide superior experiential education for technical and non-technical entrepreneurs. Beginning with Friday night pitches and continuing through brainstorming, business plan development, and basic prototype creation, Startup Weekends culminate in Sunday night demos and presentations. Participants create working startups during the event and are able to collaborate with like-minded individuals outside of their daily networks. All teams get a chance to pitch and receive valuable feedback from local entrepreneurials. The weekend is centered around action, innovation, and education.
Techstars Startup Weekend is a full weekend long experience. Your ticket includes:
- 7 full (and delicious) meals over the course of the weekend
- One-on-one time with amazing mentors
- A new network of future entrepreneurs eager, like you, to change the world. They might be your squad!
