Dive in to the experiential education of entrepreneurship in Startup Weekend Kuala Lumpur @ UCSI! Challenge yourself to build functional startups during this event and collaborate with like-minded students outside of your daily network!

Yuet Kim Lim
Co-Founder & CEO, PichaEats

Kim Lim is the co-founder of PichaEats, a social enterprise that aims to empower refugees that can cook in Malaysia through a food delivery and catering service. Besides involving herself greatly into the work of the social sector and
economic empowerment, she is also a musician and a composer.


Ashley SueLyn
President of Lean In Malaysia & AXIATA Young CEO Program, FOunder of The Real Planner

Ashley holds a Bachelor of Science Degree in Actuarial Science from University of Central Oklahoma. She also has a minor in Finance-Insurance, Business Administration, Statistics, and Mathematics. She spent 4 years in the United States before she came back to her home country, Malaysia.Currently, she is a Strategist in AmGeneral Insurance Berhad where she handles business development and product development for various partnerships. Before climbing up the career ladder recently, she was previously in a technical role where she was hired into the Graduate Development Programme as a Financial Lines Underwriter in AIG Malaysia Insurance Berhad.Ashley is also an activist where she is the Project Director of Lean In Malaysia, a women empowerment platform built to educate, empower, and enable women to achieve their ambitions both personally and professionally. She is also enthusiastic about learning and meeting people. Being a participant of the first cohort of Axiata Young CEO Development Programme allows her to expand her horizon and widen her exposure.On 1st July 2016, Ashley also founded her company, The Real Planner where she expresses her optimism and enthusiasm in organizers and planners. She also started All Women Essential, a fashion-solution company. Being extremely passionate in Education, she tutors and coaches children from age 6 and above through her own Customized Learning Programme for over 7 years now.Ashley hopes to continue to impact and support the Malaysian community through various platforms. She is enthusiastic in serving people and strives to bring the best out of them. 


Vincent Kok
CEO of VMO Rocks

Vincent Kok is experienced in starting up operations for online businesses and has extensive business development throughout Asia Pacific in the online travel and telecommunication industries. He has over 20 years experience in sales, marketing, business development and management with start-ups and multi national corporations.

Vincent Kok is an accomplished speaker and has been a regularly speaking at conferences and workshops on travel technologies, digital marketing and social media management throughout Asia.

He has also an experienced hand at raising funds, having been involved in raising RM20 million for the companies that he has been in.


Coaches and Mentors


Jan Wong
Founder of OpenMinds

Jan Wong is the founder of multiple tech businesses and an online strategist armed with a Masters degree in Technology Management. He is also the founder of OpenMinds, a digital marketing startup in Malaysia that boostrapped their way up to a recent valuation of over USD3 million within a span of 4 years. Jan’s passion in entrepreneurship has also led him to work with startups as a mentor in multiple startup events such as with Startup Weekend and Lean Startup, as a judge for startup competition and business pitches, and also invited to speak with thousands of aspiring entrepreneurs to date in various conferences and events. Through OpenMinds, Jan is also seen providing one-to-one mentorship in building businesses and has led startups to become profitable with actionable guidance.


Chen Chow Yeoh
Co-Founder of Fave

Chen Chow is the co-founder of Fave, the fastest growing regional rewards and loyalty
platform. Fave acquired Groupon Malaysia, Singapore and Indonesia. He is co-founder of
KFit, regional fitness sharing platform.
Prior to that, he was Regional Operations Director at Groupon Asia Pacific, Product Manager
at JobStreet.com, Management Consultant at Accenture.
He is an alumnus of Cornell University and he is an Eisenhower Fellow. He is an active angel
investor too.


Chetan Bharadwaj
Co-Founder & Business Head at FOURDY

Chetan is an experienced entrepreneur with a demonstrated track record in the Tech & Marketing industry and a seasoned business consultant. Skilled in Negotiation, Strategic Partnership, Management, Strategy, Sales and Business Development.

Passionate about inspiring change through collaboration, experimentation and co-creation in the creative and digital space – over last decade, he has built a digital innovation venture, FOURDY, which has supported 200+ active clients across Retail, Technology, Education, Healthcare, Publishing, Media & Entertainment sectors globally.


Muzna Khan
Community Manager of 500 Startups

Peter Ang
Strategic Planning & Growth Verticals of Grab Malaysia

Peter graduated with a bachelor’s degree in economics from the University of Nottingham. He currently works on Strategic Projects in Grab where he continuously grow and launch new business verticals such as GrabShare & GrabFood. His past experiences include non-profit organisations, an opposition Member of Parliament, Government Agency under Ministry of Cooperatives in Indonesia, Mentor for Youth Leadership Programme by Mckinsey & Company. His interests includes in the area of youth apathy, economic development, technology and social justice.
