About Techstars Global Startup Weekend COVID-19 Edition: 

This series of online Techstars Startup Weekends are run at a country level, focused on developing solutions that directly tackle COVID-19-related challenges. They are 54-hour online events designed to provide superior experiential education for technical and non-technical entrepreneurs - you'll connect with amazing mentors, industry experts, founders, and partners who are ready to help you get started. 

Each country will bring together hundreds or even thousands of participants that will work on prototypes for three days. This event is not only about bringing together developers who can work on software-based solutions for the crisis. It’s an opportunity for everyone interested in the topic to inspire and be inspired and to work together on developing inclusive solutions. Tickets to register your place for the event are completely free but you are able to make a donation, which will go to an NGO, selected by Techstars, fighting the COVID-19 pandemic. If you wish to make a donation, simply add any amount you wish to donate to the ‘Donation’ ticket option or select a predefined amount. You don’t need to get a ‘free ticket’ in addition to your ‘donation ticket’ since making a donation will register you as a participant.

Gopi Ganesalingam
Vice President - Global Growth Acceleration at Malaysia Digital Economy Corporation (MDEC)

Gopi Ganesalingam is a finance professional and an entrepreneur who has served in executive and board positions in the Asia Pacific region for the last 30 years. Gopi has worked in brand names like Matsushita, American Express International, Lucent Technologies, Telstra Australia, Salesforce.com and Google.

Gopi is now the Vice President of Global Growth Acceleration at Malaysia Digital Economy Corporation Berhad (MDEC), the government agency tasked with developing Malaysia’s Digital Economy. At MDEC, Gopi is at the forefront of championing talented entrepreneurs, by empowering them to actualise their business vision. Gopi is passionate about developing Malaysia’s nascent Digital Economy towards achieving sustainable and inclusive socioeconomic development. His end goal is to connect and propel the global digital economies via government intervention, business chambers, aligning investors/funders, government and business chambers, all of which will link global tech entrepreneurs.

Ben Lim
Managing Partner, NEXEA

Ben Lim is the Managing Partner at NEXEA (https://www.nexea.co/venture-capital/), an early Startup Accelerator, Angel Network and Venture Capital. NEXEA has invested in more than 35 Startups across Southeast Asia and is known for creating value in their investments. NEXEA is backed by experienced entrepreneurs who have done their M&As and IPOs or are CEOs of publicly listed companies. More importantly, they want to give back to the next wave of entrepreneurs. Ben founded NEXEA together with a few partners and has since managed the deal flow and investments into Startups. He also ran 3 Accelerator programs with Watchtower & Friends and Sunway iLabs and a few other corporate partners like AWS, Google Cloud, IBM, Microsoft Cloud and Digital Ocean. He has deep experience in validating Startups from MVP to investability, as well as fundraising for Startups. Ben has advised over 1000 Startups in fundraising and the fundamentals of a Startup over the years.


Alan Lim
President ,MBAN (Malaysian Business Angel Network)

Alan Lim is the co-founder and CEO of MediaBanc Group; the biggest media monitoring and insights company in South-East-Asia since 1997. He fully exited the business in mid-2014 when the company was listed in the ASX as iSentia Group Ltd, formerly known as Sentia Media and before that Media Monitors. Prior to MediaBanc Group, Alan, who obtained a BSC in Marketing and an MBA from the United States in 1987 worked in the advertising industry for close to 10-years at The Star media group in Kuala Lumpur, and at Asatsu, an international Japanese advertising agency in both Kuala Lumpur and Tokyo. An entrepreneur by heart, Alan Lim co-founded a market intelligence agency by the name of Pacific Forum (with offices in Kuala Lumpur, Bangkok, Singapore and Tokyo) and an advertising agency called Grandmont in Kuala Lumpur before his exit in 1997 to start MediaBanc Group. Today, Alan Lim has moved into the significant second half of his life where he spends most of his time; he is the Principal Advisor for Nexea Angels, a venture builder, and he mentors & coaches many young Entrepreneurs in his spare time as part of his ‘giving back to society’. He also gives his time to MBAN (Malaysian Business Angel Network) as the President and participates as an investor in many startup companies in the SEA region.


Alan Fung
SVP Strategic Business, I-Serve Group

Alan has more than 30+ years’ experience in various sectors of the tech industry. In his current role at I-Serve Group, he focuses on growing their business through partnerships and synergistic businesses including investments and acquisitions. Alan was the CEO of PIKOM (The National Tech Association of Malaysia) from 2018 – 2019. He once embarked on an entrepreneurial journey to start his own company in permission email marketing company in year 2000 and later on to become the CEO of txt123, a Maybank associate company in. He has also worked in MNCs including Digital Equipment Corp, the second largest global computer company in the 1990s. Prior to his return to PIKOM in the year 2018, Alan was instrumental in helping to build the MDEC’s Global Acceleration and Innovation (GAIN) programme focusing on globalising selected high-growth Malaysian tech companies. He was also recognized for his leadership in turning around a then loss-making PIKOM in 1994, into a profitable, vibrant and respected industry association by the time he left in 2000. In recognition of his work at PIKOM, he was selected as one of Malaysia’ top 50 local IT Personalities by the Computerworld Magazine in 2000.


Daren Tan
Assistant Manager, Tech & Innovation, MaGIC

Daren Tan is a full-stack generalist and data scientist. Avidly passionate on combining data, design and development onto solving real life problems. Prior to his current role, he worked as a freelance developer/consultant for multiple startups around Asia for 3 years bringing ideas to life. A serial hackathon winner with a cumulative total of 6 podium finishes and 4 Top 10 finishes. Also winner of the Merit Prize at the 17th MSC Malaysia APICTA Awards 2016. Co-founded Hackathon Kaki, the largest online hackathon community in Asia and Developer Kaki, the most active developer community in Malaysia. 

He is currently working as Assistant Manager,Tech & Innovation, MaGIC and also a Senior Full Stack Developer  working on tools and technologies to empower startup ecosystem in Malaysia.

Faisal is currently Asia- Senior Technical Solution Leader - Data & AI - based in Malaysia at Microsoft. Faisal is a leader in Data & AI, Architecture, Cloud and digital transformation focused on helping clients imagine their digital vision and create strategies that will help realize that vision bringing together a combination of analytical leadership, value-led consulting and design-led architecture mindsets to drive unique business outcomes for clients. Faisal has relevant experience in across multiple industries including consulting & technology. Over the last few years Faisal has been responsible for building Advanced Analytics and Artificial Intelligence technical customer engagements, delivered major digital transformational wins across different industries. 


Mevish Aslam
Founder, Sprinters

Mevish is a former lawyer turned results-driven growth marketeer and founder of sprinters. At sprinters she leads online bootcamps, workshops and events for entrepreneurial women. She has also led workshops on growth, idea validation and lean startup at corporates, ngo's and universities. Her passion lies in educating and upskilling women from diverse backgrounds and in utilising innovation as a force for good.


Takuma Baba
Managing Director, Japan Post Investment Corporation

Takuma Baba is one of the managing directors of the Japan Post Investment Corporation (JPIC). Currently, he runs the growth capital initiatives at JPIC. He joins JPIC with experience at both PE and VC funds, including Fidelity Growth Partners and Ripplewood Holdings. He has experience of both majority and minority investments and has been involved in numerous technology and growth stage venture investments. He holds a law degree from Keio University, and he is also an MBA graduate from both Columbia Business School and London Business School.

Jeevan Jayakumar
Co-Founder & Group CEO, ZoomItNow

Jeevan returned back to Malaysia after spending a decade overseas working in multiple countries across Asia Pacific for a multinational Marketing & Advertising company and upon his return he and his friend embarked on their journey to build a technology based startup called ZoomItNow which connects merchants to shared and owned delivery agents to fulfil their last mile logistic needs. A big time sneaker head and an overall nice guy will be the best description of him.


Emily Barner
Co-Founder & General Manager (BTS) / Strategic Alliance Manager (GEMA)

Emily Barner, originally from Canada, first came to through her work with the Canadian Department of Foreign Affairs where she was appointed the Executive Director of the Malaysia Canada Business Council in Kuala Lumpur. With several years of Strategic Marketing Management experience as well as lecturing at University, she moved into full-time corporate strategy consulting when she joined Warisan Global Sdn Bhd (StartupMalaysia.org) in Kuala Lumpur. There she helped conceptualize and execute Corporate Social Responsibility Projects and initiatives to help inspire, create and connect entrepreneurs across Malaysia to a global eco-system, including being a part of the inaugural Global Entrepreneurship Week (under the Kauffman Foundation), educational programs, and even included an event for the Crown Prince of Norway. She most recently has been with Global Entrepreneurship Movement Association (GEMA), an NGO based out of Malaysia, working on such projects as The Global Entrepreneurship Community (GEC) Summit 2017, World Congress on Information Technology WCIT2020 and producing content for eFM radio. Emily lives in Kota Kinabalu, where she has herself ventured into her own business with her husband, former National Malaysian rugby player, pro- wrestler, pro-fighter & ONE Championship National Featherweight MMA Champion, AJ ‘Pyro’ Lias Mansor. Together, they co-founded a fitness studio, The Borneo Tribal Squad Martial Arts and Fitness in 2013. Through her involvement in the world of Asian Mixed Martial Arts (MMA), Emily has managed several Professional Athletes, many of whom are female fighters. She is proud to be one of the few and earliest females involved in the growth and development of the sport of MMA in the South East Asian region and hopes to be able to help inspire and empower more people, especially women of ALL ages to gain confidence, learn self-defence, choose fitness as a lifestyle, and to obtain higher levels in sport!


John Yeo
Co-founder cum Business Operation Manager, Advanx Health

John is the Co-Founder and Business Operation Manager of Advanx Health, a digital health startup that to revolutionize the healthcare sector by democratizing personalized healthcare services to the mass consumers by leveraging on technology such as genetics and AI. We want to create a supportive ecosystem for our customers to get personalized healthcare services that are easily accessible and affordable. Advanx Health have been honored to be featured in a few published media such as SAYS, Vulcan Post as well as radio interviews done with BFM. Advanx Health has just established their laboratory and it is aiming to expand beyond Malaysia into Singapore and Indonesia in coming years. John is an active member of both the digital health community as well as pharmacist community. With a knack for innovations, John currently holds the position of General Secretary for Digital Health Malaysia as well as a committee in the Innovation Chapter under Malaysian Pharmaceutical Society (MPS). John has experience in various business settings from retail, manufacturing, distributor and now e-commerce. From there, he took an interest in healthcare management and currently pursuing a MBA in healthcare management. John is also a registered pharmacist with the Pharmacy Board of Malaysia. He combines his skill as a registered healthcare professional with his business acumen and currently leads the business operation team in Advanx Health.


Howie Chang
Founder and CEO, Forward School

Howie Chang is the founder and CEO of Forward School (www.forwardschool.co), a revolutionary technology and future skills school in Malaysia. At Forward, he leads the growth and development of the company, with the goal of building sustainable talent pipelines for businesses. Having spent the formative years of his career in Singapore, he has a long experience of product management, user experience and digital business transformation in various industries. Howie also had stints with startups of all kinds, where he delved into the dynamic intersection of design, business and technology. He was also the Head of UX and Design at Viki and Director of Product Management at Redmart, both which resulted as two of the most notable tech acquisitions in Southeast Asia.


Stanley Chong
Partner, Ingenious Haus Group

Stanley has more than 25 years of experience in the information technology industry. Over the past 15 years, he has been involved in managing and on advisory role to Tech and Internet companies, playing an active role in coaching, fundraising and overall expansion for these companies.

Stanley has personally been investing and coaching tech startups for the past 10 years with organisations such as Cradle, MaGIC, Cyberview Living Lab, Proficeo's Coach & Grow program, Investor Readiness Program etc. He has been a panel judge for many pitching and fundraising events as well.


Ng Sai Kit
Chief Executive, Captii Ventures Pte. Ltd.

Sai Kit is the Chief Executive of Captii Ventures, a venture capital company that he helped set up in late 2014. Captii Ventures is now a multistage investor in technology companies in Southeast Asia with an aggregate of 16 investments across Malaysia, Singapore, Indonesia, Philippines and Vietnam, including Avana, Digify, Alterra, Sorabel, MuslimPro, Computer Guys and Mimosatek.


Luqman Adris
CEO, AVANA

Luqman discovered a gap in the e-commerce industry for SMEs while running his own boutique digital marketing agency and in 2016, he took the leap to build AVANA – an easy-to-use social commerce platform catered for brand owners to bridge the gap between businesses, social media, and technology. AVANA now has operation in 3 countries and counting. Luqman has since worked with many government agencies and associations to develop training modules, conducted workshops and seminars to educate entrepreneurs about digital marketing and social commerce. Armed with more than 10 years of experience, Luqman regularly represents AVANA on speaking engagement on topics related to e-commerce, social commerce and digital marketing. He is also a mentor at Founder Institute and has presented AVANA solutions at Google Partner Asia Pacific Summit. Luqman holds an aerospace engineering degree from University of Michigan, Ann Arbor and has been officially trained by Facebook’s trainers on Facebook’s marketing modules


Matt Benson
Programme Director, Think City

Matt Benson is a Programme Director at Think City – a specialised urban regeneration organisation established by the Malaysian government’s strategic investment arm, Khazanah Nasional. Over the past 20 years has been involved in more than 250 planning and development projects in suburban, brownfield, remote and international settings. He is an experienced urban analyst, strategic planner and project manager, and has led complex consultation, data collection, master planning, urban regeneration and public realm improvement projects.


Ceelia Leong
Senior Manager, Think City

Ceelia currently leads the Analytics at Think City, which is a community-based rejuvenation organisation and a subsidiary of Khazanah National Berhad (the strategic investment arm of the Malaysian Government). She obtained her PhD from Tokyo Institute of Technology, Japan in heritage management and Geographical Information System (GIS). At Think City, she led the development of an online urban analytics platform visualising Malaysian cities using diverse data sources. These interactive maps allow the public to explore their cities in interesting ways, gaining insights on topics like community resilience towards Covid-19, reduction of pollution after lockdown, cultural and creative industries, dynamics of demography, walkability and pedestrian comfort. She has also led the baseline and evolution study of Downtown Kuala Lumpur, culminating in the Kuala Lumpur Creative and Cultural District Strategic Master Plan (KLCCD) which she co-authored. This document sets forth a strategy for the revitalization of the capital, by enhancing existing cultural assets and incubating new creative content. In addition, she also worked on an urban resilience and disaster risk reduction strategy for the George Town World Heritage Site, Penang. A demonstrative GIS decision support model was developed to identify hazard hotspots, gaps in disaster management and interventions. It was built using a participatory approach where the community leaders assessed disaster risks from their perspectives.


Bilegbaatar Zundui

Yeoh Chen Chow

Chen Chow is Co-Founder of Fave Group, next generation merchant digital platform. Fave Group's mission is to help local businesses to digitize and currently Fave Group is serving more than 35,000 local businesses across South East Asia. He was formerly Regional Operations Director of Groupon Asia Pacific, Product Manager of JobStreet.com and Management Consultant of Accenture. He is an alumnus of Cornell University and an Eisenhower Fellow. He is an angel investor as well, having invested in more than 10 startups in the region.


Jeffrey Ling

Lim Feng

Johnson Lam
Founder of KakiDIY Dot Com

Johnson Lam a hardcore DIY enthusiast. Started to DIY and make things since young; mainly to make and modify his own toys. Eventually put his DIY skills into building his first DIY computer business at the age of 19 to fund his studies. Johnson loves Photography, Crazy over Cars and Gadgets. From the skill sets harnessed from being a Maker and DIY experiences, he managed to convert all his passion into action and with some entrepreneurial magic, make them work for him. Founded KakiDIY which focuses on DIYs; mainly up-cycling and recycling old stuff into something artistic and useful. Since last year, Johnson via KakiDIY also inspired and incubated new Makers into enterprising mindset and eventually building their own company selling their products and services internationally. David Kuo
CEO & Founder / Managing Director, iiiNNO / GEN Taiwan

David Kuo is the co-founder and CEO of iiiNNO, a startup launchpad based in Taipei with an early-stage investment of 25K to 50K USD. He is committed to collaborating with startup founders to achieve 10X growth via business model validation and to acquire the first customer in the new Asian markets. Yen Ming Lee

Yen Ming is a Certified Financial Planner (CFP) and has an extensive experience in strategy, brand development, marketing, sales, digital, channel management, research, customer relationship and product development spanning over more than 17 years in 7 multi-national corporations before he left to start PolicyStreet. He has headed several business divisions in multi-national corporations which includes Maxis, Standard Chartered, Citibank, HSBC and Andersen Consulting. Prior to starting PolicyStreet, he was the Director of Marketing for Standard Chartered Bank Malaysia spearheading digital initiatives for the bank. He was instrumental in building and expanding the bank’s digital assets and has won numerous accolades for the bank globally. Standard Chartered Bank Malaysia was awarded the Best Internet Banking Award for 2 consecutive years during his tenure. He holds a Masters in Business Administration from Strathclyde Business School and received his Bachelor’s in Electrical Engineering (1st Class Honours) from University of Malaya.


Azhim Hadi Daud
Director, Numa Solution Sdn Bhd

Azhim is the founder and managing director of Numa Solution Sdn Bhd. Numa is a financial analytics solution company, that provides deep insights on financial management needs of corporations. Numa has won various awards, amongst them is the finalist of the IBM Beacon 2018 global award and IBM Analytics partner for 2019. Azhim has over 2 decades worth of experience in finance and technology, in a variety of industries.


Yan Fan
Cofounder & CTO, Code Chrysalis

Yan is the co-founder & CTO of Code Chrysalis, a coding bootcamp based in Tokyo. Born in China and raised in Seattle, Yan graduated from Dartmouth College with degrees in Economics and Arabic. After graduation, Yan worked at Bunge Global Agribusiness, a commodities trading house. After a career change into tech, Yan worked as a software engineer at Ayasdi, a leading Silicon Valley machine learning startup, and as an instructor for Hack Reactor's prep course. Code Chrysalis is Yan's second coding bootcamp--she co-founded and served as CTO of a coding school in Jordan helping refugees in 2016.


Chan Kok Long
Co Founder of iPay88

Mr Chan Kok Long, is one of the 3 key founders of iPay88 and he is currently the Executive Director of both iPay88 Holdings Sdn Bhd and iPay88 (M) Sdn Bhd. He is actively involved in sales and marketing, working very closely with various customers, partners and agencies in shaping the e-commerce landscape locally and regionally.



Janson Chah
CTO, Host A Stay Berhad

Janson solves problems through tech. He has been HostAStay's CTO since July 2017 and have built the tech team up from 0 to 13 (at its peak). He, along with his team Code Humans have also built several solutions and products since then. He has some experience in building tech teams with strong culture, turning ideas into tech products, and dealing with all matters startup-related. He's joined many hackathons and won some of them. He's an eager teacher and coach who is very generous with his knowledge and experience. He doesn't claim to know everything and is here to hopefully be your check-and-balance and also to grow with you.


Robin Lee
CEO, HelloGold

Robin is the CEO and Co-founder of HelloGold, a shariah compliant financial services platform that intends to ​enable low to medium income customers in emerging markets to access essential financial products anytime, anywhere - at an affordable​ minimum investment size of US$0.25​ - starting with gold. He is the former CFO of the World Gold Council and brings a wealth of knowledge and contacts about the gold market. He was the principal accounting officer for SPDR Gold Trust (‘GLD’), the world’s largest ETF, which held over US$40billion in gold under management. Robin developed a new sovereign gold-backed bond concept to enable countries to lower sovereign debt yields through securitization of central bank gold reserves. He has also worked with the Industrial and Commerce Bank of China to introduce a gold savings program which generated annual sales of $6.5b. He has also been a strategy consultant with the Boston Consulting Group, head of research and strategy at Securities Commission Malaysia. Robin is a Chartered Accountant at KPMG and a graduate from Oxford University


Fun Ping Hon
CEO, NetAssist (M) Sdn Bhd

Graduated as Bachelor of Science in Computer Science and Mathematics from Campbell University USA, he started his career as an engineer in Extol (A prominent regional cybersecurity company), he is now equipped with more than 24 years of experience in cyber security industry, working as an experienced security specialist who tirelessly seeking for practical and innovative approach to help various organizations. He started Innodium Sdn Bhd in 2000 and sold its entire share to Extol Corporation Bhd (A KLSE listed company) and in 2010. He move on to join Cuscapi as a Vice President with responsibility to manage operations and Profit and Loss of the subsidiary (Cuscapi Network Solution Sdn Bhd) that is again focus on Cyber Security Services. In 2012, he was head hunted to join e-Cop Surveillance Sdn Bhd as a General Manager. He managed to grow the company with yearly revenue of less than RM5million to now 3 folds both in profitability and revenue size within 2 years. In the beginning of year 2015, he started a company call SysArmy Sdn Bhd to focus on providing Managed Cyber Security Services to organizations in the region including some stock exchange, Major financial institutions, Telcos and e-Commerce companies. He started SysArmy Jakarta Office in Indonesia by beginning of 2016 and starting to gather revenue by end of 2016. His company managed to obtain Managed Security Service Provider of the year for year 2016 from Cyber Security Malaysia (a government agency specialised in Cyber Security under MOSTI). He has the right spectrum of leadership capability, vision, knowledge and experience to help his clients to understand, develop and continuously keep up to date with the latest strategies to safeguard their digital assets.

Lennise is the CEO & cofounder of Dropee - a B2B platform that bridges the distribution gap between SMEs & key sellers by enabling bulk transactions online. Lennise is passionate about entrepreneurship and has deep knowledge in the B2B industry - particularly in FMCG supply chain. She's excited to help kickstart new ideas, validate startups' first customers, and assist entrepreneurs to navigate around bumps during its early stages.


Zac Liew
Co-Founder & CEO, Curlec

Zac is the CEO & Co-Founder of Curlec, a FinTech company that makes it easy for businesses to collect recurring payments and take control of their cash flow. Prior to Curlec, Zac worked at Barclays Bank in London and was a Product Manager for 2 enterprise-tech companies. He was also named on the Forbes 30 under 30 2020 list.


Brian Tan
CEO & Co-Founder, FutureLab

Brian is the CEO & Co - founder of FutureLab.my, an ed-tech startup focused on bridging the knowledge gap between education & the future workforce through an online mentorship platform. Prior to building FutureLab, Brian worked as a management consultant at Accenture, working on digital strategy & data analytic projects. He then moved to Ethos & Company, a boutique strategy consulting firm. Brian completed his bachelor’s degree in Biochemistry at the University of Bath, of which he spent a year researching at Oxford University. Brian then pursued a Masters in Management in Imperial Business School before coming back to Malaysia. He also completed a full stack Ruby on Rails coding course from NEXT Academy and is a Genovasi Design Thinking ambassador


Calvin Lim
Associate, NEXEA

Calvin Lim is an associate at NEXEA, an early Startup Accelerator, Angel Network, and Venture Capital. NEXEA has invested in more than 35 Startups across Southeast Asia and is known for creating value in their investments. NEXEA is backed by experienced entrepreneurs who have done their M&As and IPOs or are CEOs of publicly listed companies. More importantly, they want to give back to the next wave of entrepreneurs. He has experience in validating Startups from MVP to investable, as well as fundraising for Startups. With his experience, Calvin understands the needs of the market and the issues in the funding ecosystem from prototype development in the pre-seed stage, the seed stage, up to the later stage of fundraising. He also led two startup-corporate accelerator program that involved notable players in the market.


Annie Chang
President, AC Global Solutions Ltd

An entrepreneur and a pioneer of Information Technology recruitment agency in Japan and a strong supporter of gender diversity in the workplace, She is the founder and president of AC Global Solutions, the founder of Women in Technology Japan, the vice-chair of Independent Business Committee at American Chamber of Commerce in Japan, and a board member of Startup Lady. Annie is passionate about connecting female professionals, helping women grow and shine professionally, and increasing the proportion of women in the workforce and in leadership roles with a focus on the technology field. Annie often speaks for women empowerment forums in Japanese, English, and Chinese to further promote women in a time when women’s participation in the workforce is pivotal to Japan’s national economic agenda. She is an angel investor for AI startups operated by young females and has been mentoring young women for entrepreneurship.


Nicolette Tong
Executive Vice President of The Wave

Ms. Nicolette Tong is the Executive Vice President of The Wave, a position which she held since Feb 2016. She is one of the founders of The Wave, is primarily responsible for the product, providing direction and the strategic development of the company. Nicolette is a seasoned professional in operating business centre worldwide. Prior to joining the company, she had held senior positions in Business Centre Field. Nicolette was the Regional Vice President of Operations and IT with Compass Offices for 6 years. Being one of the founders, she had helped the company grown into over 30 centres located in 9 cities across Asia Pacific, Middle-east region and Eastern Europe with more than 300 employees. Nicolette was the Group General Manager at The Executive Centre, Hong Kong in 1999 to 2008 a position that helped the company developed corporate service standard which enable the company expanded from 3 to more than 30 locations in 16 cities with 9 years.

Curry Khoo is Founder TE4P, a community-driven organization to support the local startup & entrepreneur ecosystem. The company used to organize various entrepreneur-driven events including Startup Weekend, Startup Grind, BarCamp, Echelon Malaysia, Hackathon, Pitch On Stage, Incubation and others. Curry is from Penang, Malaysia and take much interest in technology, started the journey since 1999. Currency he helping two local startups, an early stage, as advisory role; TourPlus & Fatberry.

Malcolm is the Strategic Manager for iCube, Sarawak’s leading co-working space and community for entrepreneurs. He leads strategic partnerships, supports local startups and entrepreneurs in scaling their business and develops global connecting platforms to showcase Sarawak’s growing startup ecosystem. Malcolm is a firm believe in the power of #GiveFirst and is an extremely active regional community leader where he support founders through a myriad of startup programs. He created Free Coworking Day (FCWD) in mid 2017 which has since connected over 90 co-working spaces throughout 120 locations in Asia Pacific. 
Malcolm is a certified Techstars Global Startup Weekend Facilitator and has facilitated 14 programs in Malaysia. He is also the Chapter Lead for Google Business Group Sarawak, Director for Startup Grind Kuching, and Scout for AWS Activate Program.
