About Techstars Global Startup Weekend COVID-19 Edition: 

This series of online Techstars Startup Weekends are run at a country level, focused on developing solutions that directly tackle COVID-19-related challenges. They are 54-hour online events designed to provide superior experiential education for technical and non-technical entrepreneurs - you'll connect with amazing mentors, industry experts, founders, and partners who are ready to help you get started. 

Each country will bring together hundreds or even thousands of participants that will work on prototypes for three days. This event is not only about bringing together developers who can work on software-based solutions for the crisis. It’s an opportunity for everyone interested in the topic to inspire and be inspired and to work together on developing inclusive solutions. Tickets to register your place for the event are completely free but you are able to make a donation, which will go to an NGO, selected by Techstars, fighting the COVID-19 pandemic. If you wish to make a donation, simply add any amount you wish to donate to the ‘Donation’ ticket option or select a predefined amount. You don’t need to get a ‘free ticket’ in addition to your ‘donation ticket’ since making a donation will register you as a participant.

Xenia Muntean
CEO and Co-Founder of Planable

Born in a family of hustlers, Xenia never had the chance to escape the fate of being an entrepreneur. At 20 y.o. she started her first company, a social media agency. While working with clients such as Coca-Cola, Xenia saw that people are what makes amazing brands possible. In 2016 she started Planable to discover better ways of bringing people together to work on social brand storytelling. 

Xenia was invited to attend Tim Draper’s prestigious academy in Silicon Valley and she graduated it top in class. She and her co-founders are the first Moldovan team to ever be backed by Techstars, moving Planable to London to continue building their vision of a collaboration layer for the entire content marketing industry.


Nikolay Manolov
Chairman at XOR.ai

Nik is a former rocket scientist turned artificial intelligence expert who built XOR's first platform and oversees product development today. He is passionate about creating a labor market where the needs of employers and people are both met more efficiently. Nik famously competed in an AI competition (and won) to convince Aida to start XOR with him. When he's not working he is seeking out new adventures with his family.

Product Owner

Roman Gluck has been active as a project manager for 5 years in the ICT sector. Currently working as a Product Owner at Pentalog and studying UX domain. Among his other occupations is working as Public Speaking mentor with focus on the IT domain, Startup Pitching and Conferences. Has been training for 5 years speakers for the Moldova Developer Conference that gathers up to 400 people each year. Also active participant in multiple workshops and seminars for students, teachers.


Anton Perkin

Anton has 15 years of eхperience as a developer and 9 years as company manager and community builder. In 2011 he founded FusionWorks (IT outsourcing company) and DeveloperMD Community (the biggest one in Moldova) and since then is passionate about developing his business and organizing various IT-related events, the biggest one being the Moldove Developer Conference

Mihai Stipanov a fost implicat în lansarea mai multor afaceri tehnologice și afaceri tech-enabled. A coordonat un accelerator internațional de startup-uri și a organizat evenimente pentru comunitatea de antreprenori. For the past 5 years Lisa is working at Salt Edge Open Banking Platform, as Head of Business Development. UX/UI Designer, Enspire Dev

I call myself a creative who likes to get stuff done!
I'm currently a UI/UX Designer at Enspire, a position that allows me to use the diverse skills that I picked up from her various adventures, around the world.

Teaching leadership at LCCl University in Lithuania, co-hosting a weekly radio show in Seoul, South Korea; doing Drama during my school years in the UK, or starting my own creative business for bookworms, in Moldova (Gribook Accessories) - I've always experimented with ways to be efficient and productive in my creative endeavors.

UI/UX Design keeps me on my creative toes: I need to draw from my experience in marketing, copywriting, communications, as well as expanding my understanding of business and the newest in tech. I'm happy to share what I know, and help make the world a better place, one pixel at a time.
