Walaa is a Social Entrepreneurship and Sustainability expert with 10+ years of experience working in various fields. . As General Manager of Startup Oman she is guiding the strategic direction of the organization and programs as well as managing business development and project management. She has previous experience in co-founding a social business, CSR Watch Jordan, and working in the largest entrepreneurial organization globally, Entrepreneurs’ Organization. She also has experience working with AIESEC, the world’s largest youth run organization in Jordan and Oman. She holds a Master’s in Technology Entrepreneurship from the University of Maryland, providing theoretical knowledge and practical tools to launch and grow businesses. .

He donates him time to the Art of Living Foundation as a volunteer, as he earnestly believes in the positive impact these techniques could have in enhancing the lives of individuals and of society as whole.

Saleh Abdullah Alkhamyasi, Master of Public Administration and Master of English Literature.Head of Human Resources AlMouj Golf. A freelance writer and translator. A passionate Toastmaster who is in a mission to bring the best  out of the Omani Youth to empower then to realize their true potential through coaching and inspiring them to reap the fruits of Toastmasters as platform for communication and leadership skills. Has been a passionate mentor for many toastmasters to win contests. Trained many college students and prepared them for winning in the Environment Public Speaking Contest organized by Oman Society for Environment.

Also in May.2005 – Feb. 2012 he is the Managing laboratory supplies division: during working 8 years in private company.


Essam AL-Lawati
Head of the Business Department in Nizwa College of Technology

Essam AL-Lawati is the Head of the Business Department in Nizwa College of Technology. He has his Masters in Marketing from the University of Stirling, UK. He is a member of Chartered Institute of Marketing, UK. He specialized in Marketing, (Entrepreneurial Marketing) and has published several papers in this field. He worked in a private company before entering the academic stream at the National Ferries Company and also worked in different sectors such as Transportation, Tourism, Banking and Oil & Gas. He is a certified Entrepreneurship Educator with the SMEF program in cooperation with the Ministry of Higher Education in Oman. He managed the Entrepreneurship cell at the Higher College of Technology and taught many courses such as Innovation Management, Entrepreneurship, Principles of Marketing and International Business. He was given the responsibility of supervising student senior projects as well. In addition, he has conducted workshops in Entrepreneurship on several related topics.

Adel Al-Hubaishi holds over 15 years of experience locally and globally in the area of management and business advisory.

Having been a team leader at international organisations for more than a decade and a Group General Manager of a holding company made of six independent subsidiaries managing 15.5M Bahraini Dinar worth of assets, Adel was able to develop a solid and practical foundation of the challenges and opportunities that many small and medium enterprises face. His skills centre on Business Development, Marketing, Strategic Planning, and Contract management, to name a few. Adel seeks to make a difference in people´s lives. With his diverse experience and proven track record, he delivers distinctive consulting and training services while making sure the advice he passes is beneficial and practical for the entrepreneurs he consults.


Maha AlBalushi
Incubator Manager

Maha AlBalushi has a vast experience in entrepreneurship and project management. She is the Incubator Managing Director in Oman Technology Fund (OTF). Prior to working at OTF, she managed 2 different Incubators one for Innovation Park Muscat, The Research Council (Scientific based Incubator) and Sas Center for Entrepreneurship, Information Technology Authority (ICT based Incubator). She received her Master Degree from The National University of Singapore. She won the 1st prize in 2 competitions the UAE IT Challenge (Regional) and the Big Business Idea Competition (BBIC) (Local). She was invited as a jury member in many competitions local competitions related to innovation and entrepreneurship. In addition, she has many professional certificates such as dealing with media during crisis – by Al Jazeera Network – Qatar, Bullet proof course – in leadership, Project Management course etc.

Director of Business Development and Management


Mojtaba has more than 10 years of experience in various fields such as auditing, financial analysis and marketing. Currently, he is responsible for studying and supporting small and medium enterprises.

Mujtaba is also one of the founders of Bandira Village in various fields serving small and medium enterprises.



Nermeen Marzouk
Financial Advisor

Nermeen Marzouk is a Finance and Investment Consultant with 12 years of experience acquired at leading global financial institutions and is currently a Business Development Consultant at the Public Authority for SME Development (Riyada) in the Sultanate of Oman. Prior to joining Riyada, Nermeen was an Associate Investment Officer at the International Finance Corporation (IFC), the private sector arm of the World Bank Group, in its Cairo office where she covered investment opportunities in the Middle East & North Africa region. Before joining IFC, Nermeen worked at Commercial International Bank (CIB), Egypt's largest private sector bank, in its Strategic Planning Department as well as Vantage Capital, a South Africa-based private equity and mezzanine fund, in its Cairo office. 
Nermeen has a BSc of Business Administration from the American University in Cairo (AUC) with a concentration in finance and an MSc in Finance & Management from Cranfield University in the UK.

He joined to SMEs field in 2008  at Ministry of Industry & Commercial in sultanate of Oman to 2013. After that he joined automatically to Public Authority for Small and Medium Enterprises development and work as advisor in visibility study. Currently he works in a private office.

Khaled Samir Kabbani Expert specialist in the industrial sector, has 17 years experience in establishing and equipping factories, joined to SMEs field in 2003at Ministry of Industry in Germany to 2010 After that he worked with various companies in Germany -Spain – Nederland – China - Kingdom of Saudi Arabia - United Arab Emirates and Sultanate of Oman He support developing small and medium enterprises through training and guidance

Umaima Al Ghadani
Investments Manager

Ms. Umaima Al Ghadani is Manager Investments with Sharakah. Umaima joined Sharakah more than 6 years ago as an Investment Analyst and has gone up the ladder in over the period. She has analyzed and appraised large number of Business Plans and Feasibility Studies in the SME Sector and helped them right from scratch to blossom and thus contributed in Oman’s economy as well.    Umaima is a holder of an MBA from SQU and a bachelor in Accounting from HCT. Main areas of expertise are business analysis, financial planning, and project implementation. She is passionate about handholding an entrepreneur from the stage of having an idea, building up a business plan, and successfully executing the project.

 Nadeem Ahmed is an IIM-A Alumnus with more than 26 years of cross functional Industry exposure and ILM approved facilitator in the domains of Leadership, Problem Solving, Performance Management, Innovating Thinking and Emotional Intelligence, Coaching and Mentoring. He has extensively coached and mentored professionals in various verticals working in Public and Private Sector organizations. He has conducted more than 500 workshops in the GCC. Represented Oman twice in the OCCI International Business Forum. Nadeem is the head of Eshraqa Entrepreneurship Academy and has mentored more than 10 SMEs since its inception in 2017.  


Fatma Al Mawaali
Lead Financial Accountant

Association of Chartered Certified Accountants (ACCA) member since 2013, BS holder with over 12 years of practical experience in Oil & Gas industry, PDO and a certified lean practitioner.  Have deep knowledge and practice in general accounting policies and standards throughout working experience in both field’s financial accounting and management accounting. Good Interpersonal skills including communication, presentation skills, motivated and supportive of other team members. I am pursuing a certificate in Energy Risk Professional (ERP).  I am a toastmaster member and I served as area director in Toastmaster leading 4 clubs in Muscat for one year. I have a small business (Abya Shop).


Raed Ali
People and Change Expert

Mr. Raed is a certified coach and a seasoned expert with more than 18 years of experience between Human Resources Management, Customer Experience Excellence and Marketing. He has worked with several large and SME’s in different industries such as Telecommunication, IT, Pharmaceuticals and manufacturing on defining and crafting their HR, Marketing and Customer Experience strategies. During his career  in consultancy, he conducted effective and insightful Coaching sessions in critical areas for more than 2000 individuals in more than 30 locations in Sultanate of Oman. He also designed and implemented several Coaching and Mentoring programs for hundreds of employees in HR, Marketing and Customer Experience areas driving performance excellence and motivation.


Naseer AL Musalhi

An Omani young with 20+ years overall experience, 15+ years in IT Field. Software Developing, Web Developing, Networking, Database administrator, SharePoint and all of IT related equipment’s. Good team leader and organizer. Good Communication skills. Education: having Msc in computer science (Computer networks) and Bachelor Degree in computer applications which is expands my knowledge in two different paths (Software development and computer networks) Professional Training: having 20+ professional courses in software development, Networks and recently mobile applications developments. Skills: High skills in training and team leading, time managements and quality Assurance. Worked as IT enterprise projects manager for Royal army of Oman and IT Manager for RAY International.
