Sidra Iqbal
Journalist

Sidra Iqbal is an internationally acclaimed television journalist and development activist. She is the first Pakistani to be presented the GR8 Women Award for Journalism by the Government of UAE and the Indian Television Academy. Sidra is also an accomplished media communications strategist and previously served as VP of Public Relations at Ogilvy & Mather Pakistan.


Lina Ahmed
Co-founder of Dot & Line

Lina & Maheen are the co-founders of Dot & Line. Dot & Line is an after-school alternative learning environment at the primary and middle school level. It aims to create scalable after-school learning environments, enabling women to gain meaningful employment from home, while students gain mastery in mathematics and boost learning outcomes.

Uzma Al Karim
Anchor and Producer at GEO TV

Uzma Al Karim is a senior anchor and producer at GEO TV, with 14 years of progressive journalism and broadcasting experience.As head of Gender Sensitivity and permanent member of anti-sexual harassment committee of GEO TV, her domain includes controlling and investigating sexual harassment cases within the organisation as well as training and other activities related to it.

Co-founder of CIRCLE

Sadaffe Abid is the co-founder of CIRCLE, a leading social enterprise that aims to build and develop the entrepreneurial and leadership capacity of women and youth. She is the former CEO and COO of Kashf Foundation, one of Forbes Top 50 microfinance institutions which she helped grow from a pilot in two rooms to serve 300,000 women clients disbursing $200 million in microloans in Pakistan. She is also a Social Entrepreneur-in-Residence at INSEAD.



Rabia Garib
Co-Founder & Chief Editor at TheNewSpaces

Rabia Garib is the CEO and co-founder of Rasala Publications where her responsibilities include business strategies, content development, training and design. Her passion for information technology, education and technology trade journalism are profound and are categories that will change the face of the world as we know it today. Based on her experience in technology trade media and convergence of different media platforms since 1998, she was selected as an Eisenhower Fellow, to represent Pakistan in the 2-month Multi Nation Program amongst 24 other countries, and specialized in the field of technology Trade Journalism and New Media. She is the Editor-in Chief of a local edition of the world’s largest technology business leadership magazine brand, CIO and more recently, heading up one of the world’s largest technology consumer magazines, PC World Pakistan.

Seema Jaffer is the CEO and Creative Director of Bond Advertising (Pvt.) Ltd, who has worked on major award-winning campaigns for her clients. Seema is also serving as an Executive Council Member of Pakistan Advertising Association and is involved in pro bono communication work for a number of organisations including TCF, Special Olympics, APWA RLCC & Karavan-e-Hayat.She was also the producer of Pakistan’s first television programme on marketing and advertising titled “The Big Idea”, which showcased the best of Pakistani Advertising.


Lubna Lakhani
Owner of Raintree Spa

Raintree Spa owner, Entrepreneur, Trainer, Make up Artist, Hair Stylist and mother of three, Lubna Lakhani is passionate about helping women look their best. It was her fondness for fashion and style that led her into this profession.She always wanted to have a career because she strongly believes that women should be financially and emotionally independent. Lubna thinks that this adds to their confidence and enables them to use the talent they possess.

Nadia Patel
Founder - Sheops

A therapeutic tutor and marketing professional turned entrepreneur, Nadia founded Sheops, Pakistan’s first online marketplace and community for women, where they can buy or sell goods and services, monetise their talents, cash in on their closets and share ideas about building a business. 

An advocate of women empowerment, Nadia aims to make Sheops a one stop destination for the Pakistani woman for all her business and shopping needs. She also plans to highlight the talent of the underprivileged Pakistani women, by helping them sell their handicrafts and creations on Sheops.


Sara Khurram
CEO at Sehat Kahani

Dr.Sara Saeed Khurram is the Co-Founder and Chief Executive Officer at Sehat Kahani. Sehat Kahani works on improving basic health care in communities through a spectrum of services focused on primary health care consultation, health awareness and health counselling. She recently won the APTECh Young Entrepreneurs award for Sehat Kahani and her work was also featured in a BBC documentary.


Shanza Khan
Co-founder of BoloTech

Shanza is a Software graduate from Jinnah University for Women. She started her career as the co-founder of BoloTech. She is passionate about programming and she love what she does.
When not coding, she thoroughly enjoys listening good music and reading novels. Apart from being goal oriented and dedicated to work, this rebellious girl loves to break social norms.


Rabab Fatima
Co-founder of BoloTech

Coming from a family having engineers, accountants and medical professionals, Rabab Fatima, 23, is a Software Graduate from Jinnah University for Women and has started her career with BoloTech. Rabab’s professional interests focus on programming, coding and animation.

Faiza Yousuf
Entrepreneur


Faiza Yousuf has been working in the tech industry for past 8 years. She is a serial entrepreneur and is currently running a business consultation company with the focus on helping small businesses (especially women led) to embrace technology. Her another recent project is a community building effort, where she is working to unite all the Women in Technology to come together and start changing the narrative around Women Technologists in Pakistan.


Anusha Fatima
CEO of TrashIt

Anusha Fatima is the founder of TrashIt and the winner of CIRCLE's startup competition, She Loves Tech, where she competed amidst 80 other hopefuls.

Akash Shaikh
Program Manager

Akash is an economics major with previous experience in the investment banking industry as a project manager. He is a firm believer in the potential for technology to continuously change lives, and is extremely enthusiastic about global entrepreneurship and technology trends. He is also the founder of a location based mobile app startup in private beta. At The Nest i/o, he is the Program Manager, and works with the startups to help them think critically and apply best practices.
