Kynat Raza
Managing Director

Kynat Raza is the Managing Director of Shamim Ghee Mills and Lives Cooking Oil. With roots from Lahore, she attained her primary education from Kinnard College. Graduated from the University of Central Punjab Lahore and further moved to University of Manchester for her masters. She actively worked with Synergy Advertisement Agency and has taught to masters students in various Universities. She finally heads the Shamim Ghee Mills. Being a huge proponent of women entrepreneurship, she serves as a true and living example who runs such a complex business single handedly.

Humayun Mazhar


He established himself as a key player in the IT export space in the mid-90’s, and now he aims to reshape the stage for Pakistani tech startups with a preference for innovative ideas advocating social change. His genius has evolved from decades of innovative business practices and management, and with his new venture you can borrow what he is, what he’s learned and what makes him the powerhouse that he is. As the Founder and CEO of CresSoft - the first software export company in the country – Humayun spearheaded the company to put Pakistan on the global IT outsourcing map, and in doing so, was able to make the fresh IT graduate the most eligible bachelor in the country at the time. He currently holds principal positions on the board of various Crescent Group companies and is the President of The Indus Entrepreneurs (TiE) Lahore Chapter. Because of his achievements in the softwareIndustry, he received the NCR IT Excellence Award in 2000.
Humayun is a headstrong individual with a can-do attitude. He is an active part of his community, supporting social causes like The Citizen’s Foundation, LRBT, CARE and Crescent Educational Trust to name a few. In the past he has held vital positions at the likes of Pakistan Software Houses Association (PASHA) and the managing committee of the Federation of Pakistan Chamber of Commerce (FPCCI), and his service to the community has led to him receiving the Corporate Philanthropy Award by the Pakistan Center for Philanthropy (PCP) in 2009. As an avid follower of the Steve Jobs philosophy, Humayun “Stays hungry”, “stays foolish ” and follows his heart. He is an optimistic yet realistic man, influenced by art, coffee and music. But before any of his passions, he values a business that can grow, teach, learn and inspire.

Tosheeba Sarwar

An experienced entrepreneur, business executive and advisor to a number of emerging and established businesses, Tosheeba Sarwar has over 15 years of experience. She uniquely specialized in guiding small and medium sized business owners towards attaining a level at which they work on their business through development and implementation of key points in business planning and planning for growth and expansion, both domestically and internationally.  Ms Tosheeba worked closely with companies and business owners providing business valuation services and advice on developing and implementing strategies to maximize business value.  She founded the image management outfit – I managers;  and worked with lead brands with a focus on Business Modeling, Strategic Planning, Image Management, Brand Management, Marketing & Promotions, Systems Development, Coaching & Training. She has been associated with about 27 start-ups in different sectors including hospitality, apparel, services, furniture, retail, fashion, surgical instruments, and academics. In addition to the commercial ventures, Ms Tosheeba has actively worked with NPOs such as the CARE Foundation, International Iqbal Society, Kaarvan Foundation & PSTA (teacher training organization).

Sameer Noorani

Sameer is the founder of Roomvine, a geo-contextual platform which allows interaction with people and businesses in real world setting. Prior to that, Sameer was a management consultant at McKinsey & Company where he advised and guided top management across industries on commercial and operation strategy.

Sameer holds an MBA from INSEAD and a B.Sc. from LUMS.

Zia Imran

Zia Imran is  the CEO and founder of VahZay (Pvt) Limited, a software and IT products and services company based in Lahore.He is an MBA, Finance and Entrepreneurship from the University of Chicago, Graduate School of Business, Chicago, Illinois, USA and Masters in Electrical Engineering from Cornell University, Ithaca, New YorkHe also served as the Chairman of P@SHA, the industry trade body for IT industry, in 2009. Imran has taught a very popular course in Entrepreneurship at FAST, Lahore campus. Zia also consults with startups on business strategy, marketing and operations and has advised US companies set up joint ventures and globally outsourced operations.Zia has more than 16 years of experience working in Silicon Valley and globally at leading companies like Oracle, Altera and numerous startups both in Silicon Valley, USA and in Pakistan.Zia is a serial entrepreneur who previously started a software development tools company in Silicon Valley arguably pushing the state of the art in this area to the next level.

Shayan Zaeem

Shayan Zaeem is the Co-Founder of Caramel Tech Studios and Fizz Inc. His love for games and natural entrepreneurial skills made him a natural fit for leading product development. From conceptualizing, designing and running live ops, Shayan has launched numerous games over the last few years. He has worked on major game titles such as Fruit Ninja, Jetpack Joyride, Astro Boy and most recently, Gems Frontier. 
Gems Frontier was picked by Apple App Store in the “Games We Love” category and Astro Boy was featured in the “Best New Games” category. 
Shayan currently leads product at Fizz, a multilingual chat platform for gamers. Simply put, Shayan and his team want to break down language barriers between scattered community of global gamers and connect them inside the game’s ecosystem.

Badar Khushnood

Badar Khushnood is a Cofounder and Partner at Bramerz which is the largest 360 degree digital media and marketing agency in the country. Before Bramerz, Badar was Google's Country Consultant for Pakistan for 8 years until December of 2014. He acted as a one-man-on-the-ground-army for Google liaising closely between numerous Google teams and all-things Pakistan from Government Relations to product launches to facilitation of technology. As a strong believer in leveraging technology to solve some of the most complex problems in today's world, Badar brings along more than 17 years of highly rich and diverse experience working with leading brand names in respective categories including ASUSTeK Computers, SMEDA and Nishat Textiles.

Ijaz Nisar

jaz Nisar is the Founder & President of Pakistan’s Best Selling Business Magazine, Manager Today and CEO Leading Edge OD & Training Consultancy.

He is OD practitioner, behavioral trainer, personal coach, and author of Best Selling Book "100 Business Leaders of Pakistan". 

His 16 years experience in the corporate world has been most enriching till now with the responsibilities of an executive for two large organizations with a size of average 15000 employees and valuing over USD 15 bn public sector entities in Pakistan. Both legacy brand names of National Bank and State Bank of Pakistan (NIBAF) where he has been designing, developing, delivering training and OD initiatives in the field of Strategic Leadership & Management Development.

Nahil Mahmood

With over 18 years' experience in telecom, broadband, banking, Information Security, and ICT, Nahil Mahmood has represented six of the world's leading Information Security & Network Security solutions. He is an established and credible Information Security Leader, holding a number of leadership positions for global associations and known for conducting world-class IT training and events internationally. Mr Nahil has been awarded the Information Security Leadership Achievement (ISLA) Award by (ISC)2 Tokyo, Japan. Additionally, he works as the CEO and Founder of Delta Tech, an IT firm specializing in Information Security solutions, a globally Certified Trainer For Franklin Covey International.

Nevil Patel
Vice President at i2c Inc.

Nevil has more than 30 years of experience in managing companies and teams that provide high quality software solutions and products in secured environments for global clients. He is a Certified Information System Auditor with a strong understanding of the information security and regulatory compliance requirements in the financial sector.

He is currently the Vice President Operations at i2c Inc. - a Silicon Valley based global card processor with offices in six countries.

Maha Rehman

Maha is working as a Development Consultant.  She has been working with Systems Approach for Better Education Results Project at the World Bank. As a part of this project, she led implementation of the SABER toolkit on the teacher rationalization and recruitment policy in Punjab. She has also been associated with the Sindh Education Reform Project at the World Bank. She has also been blogging at World Bank, End Poverty in South Asia. She has been mentoring social enterprises.

She has a Masters in Economics from Duke University and an undergrad degree in Economics from LUMS.

Dr Amena Hasan

Dr. Amena Hasan is the Chief Executive Officer of Business for Social Progress (BSP) where she has undertaken multiple constancy assignments with Focus Humanitarian Assistance, Save the Children UK, ESRA Plus (Education Development Center In.), Micronutrient Initiative, LEAD Pakistan, Farm Forestry Support Project (Inter-cooperation), OMV Pvt. Ltd. (Oil and Gas company), Interloop Pvt. Ltd. (Textile industry) and PPEPCA (Pakistan Petroleum Exploration and Production Companies Association). The assignments involved project/program Monitoring and Evaluation, participatory research (qualitative and quantitative), capacity development of health and education department officials, community and local NGO trainings, project development and implementation of community-based projects on education, health, livelihoods, skill enhancement, and natural resource management. Javed Zahoor

With 16+ years of hands on experience in Enterprise web based, Hybrid & distributed systems design, development roll out and service in the fields of Telecom, Healthcare and ERP domains.

Working as Director & Consultant with several Software/IT Firms and as a visiting faculty member with FAST-NU and ITU, Mr Zahoor is currently the Head of Technology at Virtual Force.

Adam Ghaznavi

Co-founder of, Adam Ghaznavi first worked as a General Manager at Careem. Before that, he was a venture leader at Easy Taxi, Pakistan. and a product manager at A Babson College MBA Graduate, he was a board member of the Community Dispute Settlement Center (CDSC)

Syed Abid Ali

Syed Abid Ali is the Chief Commercial Officer at INFOGISTIC & Co-Founder of CyberWise. He has over 14 years of experience in IT and specializes in developing business plans and conceiving strategies for successful product roll outs. At INFOGISTIC he has been instrumental in rolling out the e-health product “CloudClinik” besides growing the cyber security portfolio in Middle East & Pakistan.Prior INFOGISTIC, Abid was Country Manager for Intel Security for AFPAK region. His other notable roles include being Head of Business Development for Cyber Security portfolio at Netsol Technologies and Technology Consultant for Doha Asian Games.
He holds a degree in Technology Management from Queens Mary, University of London and has passion for music.

Sajjad Kirmani

Sajjad Kirmani is the founder and CEO of INFOGISTIC rated as the Best Startup by P@sha in 2012. He is leading the efforts to further increase the organizations investment, business activity & strategic partnerships across globe. He provides guidance and mentors the technical, sales and operations team to meet their day to day challenges. 
He has over 28 years of experience in Information Technology and has served in leadership positions in multinational organizations across Middle East and Pakistan. Prior to establishing INFOGISTIC in 2012, he served 14 years as Director & Executive Vice President at NetSol Technologies where he played a vital role in its global expansion as well as becoming the first company to have CMMI ML 5, ISO 27001 and ISO 20000. 
Sajjad is passionately pursuing his vision to make INFOGISTIC as a center of excellence in Cyber Security and e-Health Technology. 
His contributions towards Information Technology in Pakistan earned him the title of “CIO of Year” in 2010 by Teradata. He is also the CEO and Executive Board Member of DicoTech INFOGISTIC Qatar.
Sajjad holds a Master´s degree in Computer Sciences from University of London along with MBA degree from IBA. He has a passion for gardening and maintains one of the best spring gardens in Lahore.

He has held many UN assignments in New York and also worked on Sr positions in Punjab Govt. including DG Dairy Development Board.

Usman Ali

Aamer Zaheer

Aamer Zaheer is co-founder and CTO at Ingrain which helps content creators monetize videos through Programmatic Product Placement. Ingrain’s proprietary SceneSense technology can augment new objects in videos automatically while maintaining a consistent context within and across different videos. The first prototype of this technology was Groopic, a camera app, which was built at the first Startup Weekend Lahore in 2012. Aamer currently leads the Technology and Product Development at Ingrain. Previously, he was doing PhD in Computer Vision at LUMS, working on 3D Scene Understanding for Urban Environments and Human Motion.

Bilal Nazeer

Bilal Nazeer is currently working as an IT Project Manager at Digital Links Group. With over 7 years of experience in the IT industry, Bilal has organized and founded several national level competitions such as: Pakistan Maths Challenge; CASIO Math Competition 2016; World Education Games Ceremonies, Pakistan. He has certifications from Google and HP EdCast and is also an advisor for different apps and websites regarding marketing strategy.

Zartash Uzmi

Zartash is on the faculty of Electrical Engineering and Computer Science at LUMS since 2002. He is also a cofounder at Confiz Limited which runs Pakwheels, the largest Pakistani portal for car enthusiasts, buyers, and sellers. Zartash received his Ph.D. from Stanford University. At LUMS, his research is focused on scalable design for networking systems. He has also mentored several student startups and is part of the core team that is setting up the LUMS Center for Entrepreneurship.

Osama Jawad

Osama is the Manager Administration of LUMS Center for Entrepreneurship. He is a graduate from University of WALES institute Cardiff with a Masters Degree in Project Management. He is also a Software Engineer from University of Staffordshire. Previously, he was working as a freelance capacity building consultant with various organisations and institutions. Osama worked as an Assistant National Director for SOS Children's Villages Pakistan, where he was responsible for managerial, operational and monitoring functions. Initiatives such as extension of schools in rural areas, upgrading of technical and vocational training center, skill development of children in SOS Youth facilities and organisation development were key milestones under his belt. Before that, Osama worked for Cardiff University (UK) as the Program Manager for Pakistan and was designated as their Country Representative. Osama was published by University of Wales (MBA ­ Profile for Pakistan) in 2007. During his academic years, he worked part time with the International Office and was also a co­founder of two societies in Cardiff Business School to engage international students in healthy actitives. He also taught at Institute of Management Sciences (PAK Aims) and has been an active member of various youth societies and NGOs including Community Welfare Foundation. Osama is an adventurer, a photographer, a progressive farmer and a loving son.
