education concepts. We hope you’ll pitch, but definitely not required!
- Saturday and Sunday: Work
days! Teams focus on user research, customer development, validating
their ideas and building prototypes with the help of experienced coaches
from the education and entrepreneurial world. You’re welcome to stay
and work as long as the venue will allow!
- Sunday afternoon: Teams
demo their education products and receive valuable feedback from a
panel of expert judges.

Gauher Aftab is Director Business Development at HY Enterprises and the author of a critically acclaimed series, Paasban the Guardian. He is also serving as Lead Consultant for research and development sector projects at Gauher & Adeel Associates and is Program Director for the company's educational services projects under the banner of the Lahore Students Union (LSU). Gauher has worked both in Pakistan and abroad as a business development professional and strategy consultant in diverse sectors such as financial services, advertising, telecommunications and education. He has served as Project Lead on several communications and research projects in Pakistan for development sector organizations such as USAID, the British High Commission (BHC), the British Council, the Chevening Foundation, GIZ, UNAID and UNESCO.
At the International Labour Organization (ILO), he has conducted research on the productivity and efficiency differential for factories providing healthcare services to employees through private or public providers, in the apparel industry in Jakarta, Indonesia. He worked closely with the Ministry of Manpower and Transmigration and Jamsostek, the state health care provider. Mr. Sarwar has also worked as a Project Manager at Akhuwat Foundation.
Mr Zafar has specialized in internet marketing and evaluating business plans. Such expertise, he believes, are required in scaling up an organization and creating new processes that are necessary for a business to run successfully.
Coaches and Mentors
At the age of 21, he was running a small paint manufacturing facility and discovered poster color formula that rivaled German’s Pelican brand. Having a passion for entrepreneurship and technology, he started his first venture in California and successfully ran and managed three additional start-ups since 1990. In 2011, he co-founded Visiting Providers, a medical practice in Missouri for homebound patients.
Mr Abid is a member of the International board of Minaret Business Organization (MBO) that has chapters in USA and Asia. He is an independent trustee (emeritus) at a socially responsible Amana Mutual Funds (AMANX, AMAGX, AMDX) that manages over 3.5 billion in assets. Mr Abid also serves as a member of the board for Strategic Research Circle, a non-profit that does research in the area of private enterprise and social responsibility.
Sports Hypnotherapist, Worked with the Pakistan Cricket Team May 2009 and the team won the T-20 World Cup. Was part of the Pakistan Cricket Team as a Sports Psychologist 2012 -13 tour of India and the Team came back victorious.
Worked with Golfer in Pakistan and many of the went on the win National Golf Tournaments and were selected in the Pakistan National Golf Team

A true Lahori who loves food and is a keen photobomb-er. Currently, she is trying to give up junk food and is shifting to a healthier lifestyle (bla bla) so you might catch up with her in the Gym. A Snapchat enthusiast and a procrastinator. In her free time (read: all the time), she binge watches TV shows. Also, she likes cycling around.
Apart from work, Tauheed likes to sing, travel & learn about human resource management culture in Pakistan.
