It's that time of the year again where startup enthusiasts, founders, programmers, business people, designers, students, and anybody whose lives have been inspired by the spirit of innovation and collaboration, gather together to celebrate a weekend of all action!

Friday April 15th

Registration
Arrive at the venue and get checked in

Dinner & Networking
Eat food, share ideas, practice pitches, get to know fellow participants


6:00 pm
Welcome & Speakers
Review agenda for the weekend and introduce speakers, coaches, and community leaders


6:30 pm
Pitches Start
Optionally line up to give your pitch


7:00 pm
Voting
Attendees vote for the top pitches


7:30 pm
Form Teams
Teams start forming and discussing ideas


8:00 pm
Begin Work
Start to formalize teams and take an inventory of skills. Be honest, and direct about what resources and skills are needed for the weekend.


10:00 pm
Wrap-Up
Finished for the day. Participants are prompted to leave the venue but are free to continue discussions elsewhere.

Saturday April 16th

A Different Kind of Startup
A 10 minute presentation by Robin Gurney, SWB mentor and Director of ANDAKIDZ charity, about how startup thinking and tech skills can lift communities using Bohol based TAFIAS as an example.

Albert Padin
Chief Technical Officer

Albert is a developer and entrepreneur who's worked on consumer, enterprise, and government software products. He is the co-founder and CTO of Symph, a design, development, and startup studio. At Symph, he has architected and developed solutions for 500 Startups, Office of the President of the Philippines, and the World Bank.


Pip Cimafranca
Senior Ops Manger

Pip is a a senior operations manager at a captive site of a global technology company that is focused on connecting unstructured information across enterprises with their systems and people that need it most. He lead a team of 250 associates, specialists and experts in providing customer support to clients around the world.


Aimee Lim
Leader and Connoisseur

Aimee is the young, passionate, and effervescent restaurant manager of one of Bohol's best family restaurants, Gerarda's. She is also the president of the Young Entrepreneurs of Bohol, a local association dedicated to empowering and supporting the province's young entrepreneurs.


Coaches and Mentors


Robin Gurney
Entrepreneur, Investor, Philanthropist

Robin's been in sales for 30 years and digital marketing for 18.
Living now in Anda, Bohol he runs ANDAKIDZ MTÜ, a small Estonian charity, helping create opportunities for disadvantaged children and their families. He works closely with TAFIAS - Talisay Fishermen's Association and helps run Coco Loco, a funky café in Anda.

Also a digital marketing consultant he has significant experience of coaching and training in business development/digital marketing for large organisations AND start ups.

Among his current passions right now are social entrepreneurship, voluntourism.. and coconuts!


Thomas Ridenour
React Native Mobile Developer

Thomas is a US citizen, currently living in the Philippines, helping with church plants and disaster relief. He specializes in React, React Native mobile applications.


Dan Pantinople
Creative Lead

Dan is the Creative Lead of tech startup company, Symph. He specializes in UI/UX and creative direction.


Paolo Rigotti
Cook, Educator, and Entrepreneur

Paolo is a passionate chef, beloved mentor, and skilled entrepreneur who takes the reigns of the Food and Hospitality Industry. He is an instructor and dean of the College of Hotel Restaurant Management, Tourism Management, and Business Administration of Cristal-e College, and the owner of the popular ice cream salon, Gelateria Milano.


Sharon Sesaldo
Operations Manager and Startup Coach

Sharon is the Incubation Program Manager at UP TBI.
She used to be TechTalks.ph's Operations Manager and was a coach at JFDI.Asia's Discover program where she helped over 100 startups and hundreds of entrepreneurs go through the program. Sharon takes on her daily challenges at work as ladders of success, employing a methodical technique and a sharp focus.  For things that require strength beyond her small stature, she readily takes a step back to re-coup with treasured books and equally treasured moments with her husband.
