Program Lead - Startup Development

Adria is the Program Lead for Startup Development of QBO, Philippine’s first innovation hub and startup platform. QBO is the first of its kind public-private partnership initiative in the country specifically geared to provide resources, connections and support to accelerate the growth of Philippine startup companies.

Adria is a Business Management graduate from Barcelona. He has studied in Spain, the UK, and the Philippines, all the while learning about each country’s local startup ecosystems. His startup career officially began when he interned for a social startup in Barcelona, and now he is helping enhance the skills of local startup entrepreneurs as QBO’s Program Associate for Startup Development.


Angeli Recella
Chief People Officer at Storm Technologies

Currently the Chief People Officer of STORM Technologies, Angeli is known to be the company's startup Swiss knife-- she's handled multiple functions including marketing, sales, customer success, supply chain, and general management. She was involved in Juan Great Leap, allcare.io, and STORM Learning as a consultant.


Jean Alfonso-Decena
Senior AI Trainer at Starbutter AI & Founder at JaiMala

Jean is among the pioneers in the emerging AI Training - NLP space that’s shaping the future of search, digital marketing and voice commerce. She utilizes Machine Learning, Natural Language Processing and combines them with her expertise in Customer Service in designing delightful conversations and training AI- powered voice assistants and chatbots for the Google award-winning fintech startup Starbutter AI, based in Silicon Valley.
Prior to this, she helped build, run and develop world-class Customer Service teams and leaders based in Manila, US, Argentina and Poland for global companies such as IBM-Daksh, Balsam Brands and Avid Technology during their startup stages. Her 15-year experience in People and Operations Management, e-Commerce, SaaS Management and training in Six Sigma and Agile Methodology made her a Gallup award-winning leader for consecutive years.  Her new startup venture- In Silence- aims to provide practical tools for de-cluttering the human mind, thus helping people take charge of their life by marrying ancient traditions and disruptive technology. Jean's 200-hour Hatha Yoga teacher certification and immersive traveling gave her expansive exposure in the various' countries startup scene.


Mari Martirez
Head of Sales at Storm Learning

Mari Martirez is currently the Head of Sales at STORM Learning, an enterprise solution that helps companies source their training and development needs. Prior to that, he was the co-founder and COO of Orbitrr, a startup that helps social media managers conveniently acquire creative visual content to post on Facebook, Twitter or Instagram. Mari takes pride in helping startups grow through business development and product validation. He started off his career as a procurement specialist and data analyst before he entered freelance design and marketing. Having experienced the struggles of freelancing in the country, he became passionate about improving the freelance economy of the Philippines and works with Brand New Design Studio to empower and provide opportunities to freelance designers. Mari loves bringing value to others and is passionate about creativity, innovation, and entrepreneurship. 


Christopher Klein Asinas
Account Manager at TraXion Tech Inc.

CK Asinas is a business and tech enthusiast deeply passionate about making an impact through Space technology, Artificial Intelligence, and Internet of Things. He currently serves as an Account Executive at two startups specializing on enterprise digital systems integration and crowdfunding on distributed ledger technology. During his collegiate years, he was already immersed in the local startup scene, and he co-founded a startup entrepreneurship organization in his alma mater, Mapua University, to foster the culture, grow the startup community, and develop an in-house incubation program in the campus.



JC Pullan
Communications Officer at IdeaSpace Foundation, Inc.

JC is the Communications Officer at IdeaSpace. Prior to joining IdeaSpace, he co-founded Fetch Everyday Valet, an on-demand valet parking startup that was part of the 2017 cohort of the IdeaSpace acceleration program. Having experienced both sides of the fence, JC helps out on crafting the messages and stories that would resonate with the audiences of the organization. Before joining the entrepreneurial sphere, he worked in different advertising agencies, and lead marketing initiatives for different local and multinational businesses including Fully Booked, McCormick, and Western Union.


Aldrich Tan
Design Director and Co-founder at Vessel Innovation Design Group

Aldrich is an Experience Architect who has led and collaborated with numerous design teams in various industries throughout the US, Canada, and the Philippines. 

He specializes in reshaping complex product problems into simpler systems, processes, and meaningful interactions. By improving the overall product experience for end users, his work develops and integrates a brand's ethos into all possible touch points, resulting in increased customer loyalty and engagement.

He spends time helping companies and organizations build stronger design cultures and mindsets, while pursuing his own ventures.


Jesse Manalansan
Chief Technology Officer, Qwikwire

As Qwikwire’s first hire, Jesse has full grasp of the platform’s evolution and customer/user requirements. As the CTO, he currently manages the development and implementation of functional areas of technology that aligns with the business strategy of Qwikwire. He graduated from Mapua University with the degree BS Information Technology.
