Transform your idea into MVP in less then 54 hours!

Do you have an idea you'd like to check or a problem you'd like to solve but don't know where to start or who to start with?

Then Startup Weekend Krakow is the place where you need to be! Come and look for a team, create a prototype of your idea, validate your business idea, and receive feedback from experienced entrepreneurs, all in one weekend.

What do you need to bring?

Lots of energy and maybe a pillow for power naps! You'll pitch your own idea or listen to others, then vote on the most interesting ideas and form teams with diverse skill sets. You can come with friends, but you’ll get the full experience if you participate in separate teams. Remember, it’s all about the team.

Your idea should be something you have not previously worked on. The idea you pitch and the problem you set out to solve can span social, educational, financial, environmental, or other issues. Over the course of the weekend you'll be challenged to create a prototype of your MVP, or minimum viable product, that fits the needs of your target customer. You'll get feedback, iterate, and likely pivot your approach entirely! Important: You cannot have worked previously on your idea.

Startup Weekend Krakow is a full weekend long experience. Your ticket includes:

  • Meals over the course of the weekend
  • Benefits and discounts from global partners of Techstars Startup Weekend
  • One-on-one time with amazing mentors
  • A new network of developers, designers, and entrepreneurs eager, like you, to change the world.
  • All the internet and coffee you can consume.

Over 10 years ago Pawel has started to write a blog, which rose to be the #1 in its category in Poland. In 2011 he retired blog-wise in order to running online products. Years of programming and business experience help him with starting up and supporting projects in their very early stages, when they require a minimum of code and maximum of good ideas for promotion and client acquisition.

He supports the existing businesses he has invested in and/or led – which in all have over 500 employees in Europe, the USA and Asia and invests in new companies from time to time. He is active in the TED and TEDx Community, holding the Licence for TEDxKazimierz. He is responsible for the global Wojtek the Soldier Bear initiative about which he gave a TEDxKrakow talk, and led the project to put a statue in Park Jordana in Krakow. He is a speaker and MC/host at events with a primary focus on entrepreneurship and leadership. Coaches and Mentors

Wiktor Sarota
CEO in InFakt

Wiktor Sarota started his career as an entrepreneur as early as high school. Here at inFakt his main goal is to help other entrepreneurs by simplifying accounting. He is passionate about building genuine company values and personal development focusing on himself as well as others. Originally from the mountain town of Nowy Sącz, home to many prolific entrepreneurs, Wiktor is married to Monika and a dad to two kids, Ola and Jeremiasz.

Łukasz Cieśla
Cofounder in Sentinel Innovation

Łukasz is in a physical and mental state of constantly looking for the best model of "external innovations" for corporations, which lose their innovative DNA along with each case of growth. The efficiency of these operations is measured by the indicator related to the number of implementations of start-up projects (and of course the scale-up). By stating what was written above, we looked at Łukasz from a bird's eye view.

Jakub Krzych
CEO in Estimote

Jakub Krzych is the CEO and co-founder of Estimote, leader in the smart beacons and contextual computing space. Last year Inc magazine included him in its 35 under 35 list of most innovative entrepreneurs. As one of the first in Poland, he’s been accepted into Y Combinator and completed the accelerator’s Summer 2013 batch with Estimote. In 2009 he founded AdTaily, which had grown to become a major player in Central Europe’s online advertising market, and was subsequently sold to Agora SA. Jakub is passionate about all things product and obsesses over how contextual computing will change human-machine interaction.

Piotr Bucki
CTO in j - labs

He started his professional career in 2000 as a software developer - he has over a million lines of code in Java. He has worked over 10 years building and developing business. Piotr is the originator and co-founder of j-labs, and since 2018 shares his knowledge in the "Biznes w IT" podcast.
