Patrick L Young
Entrepreneur & co-founder at Mission ToRun

Patrick L Young began his first online FinTech venture in 1994. His first book, “Capital Market Revolution!” (Financial Times 1999) outlined the developing potential of digital markets, discussing digital currency & much en route. An active entrepreneur & Principal of international startup group “Mission ToRun Business,” Patrick was a coFounder of prediction market Intrade and helped develop Single Stock Futures. Young advises market structure investors & publishes the benchmark daily newsletter for organised market structure: “Exchange Invest” (ExchangeInvest.com). He is CEO of niche crowdfunding platform HanzaTrade and is a mentor at StartupBootcamp FinTech London amongst other programmes. He lectures the course “Entrepreneurship  & Startups at Nicolaus Copernicus University in Torun, Poland and has addressed conferences all over the world. Patrick has served on various boards (MTF, private equity funds and SFOA - now ICDA - and was CEO of SIBEX exchange). He has published more than 1000 articles including opinion pieces for AFR, FT, WSJ etc as well as appearing regularly on tv.


Krzysztof Janusz
General Manager Poland at intive

Krzysztof Janusz is an experienced IT professional with a proven track record in managing IT&Telecom projects, running programs and portfolios as well as setting up IT organizations. He has started his professional career with Siemens in Wroclaw, then continued at IBM, where he was one of the first employees on board. Lately he has been working for a global Lottery & Gaming leader IGT and currently he is working for intive, a new company that emerged on the market after merging SMT Software, BL Stream and Kupferwerk. At intive Krzysztof works as a General Manager responsible for the polish market and operation. Privately he is married and a happy father of two daughters, 2 and 4 years old. In his free time Krzysztof enjoys running, swimming and playing with his girls.


Hubert Piotrowski
Senior Engineer and Scrum Master at Mobile Vikings

He says about himself:
'Software developer and python ninja. I like to use Python as an ultimate tool to deliver results driven software. With my 15 years of software development experience I learned many things and after so many years of writing the code one thing hasn't changed at all in my professional life - if Google doesn't have an answer to my question it looks like what I'm trying to achieve is like nobody tried or... it is just not possible:-)


Martin Ring
Managing Director at BNY Mellon

Martin Ring is the Site Executive and Managing Director of the BNY Mellon Poland Global Delivery Centre (GDC) based in Wrocław. In this role, Martin is responsible for running and developing our BNY Mellon Business in Wroclaw. Martin provides leadership and governance, overseeing the GDC’s growth towards servicing multi-disciplinary business groups and their clients. Martin joined BNY Mellon in 2011. Under his leadership within last the two years the location has grown from 90 to over 900 employees. Agnieszka Orłowska
Director EMEA Customer Experience (CEE) and Head of Wroclaw Site at Google

Agnieszka Orłowska holds a role of a Director in Google EMEA, being responsible for DACH&CEE region as well as Head of Google Wroclaw Site. She has more than 20 years of a professional experience in various international companies like Hewlett-Packard, WABCO, Skanska in the area of HR, marketing, finance and operations management. She is certified Six Sigma Green Belt. Expertise area: marketing, human resources management, Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR), knowledge management, quality management, operations management and client engagement. She led Wroclaw Chapter of Association of Business Services Leaders (ABSL) and is actively supporting women in their professional careers, co-leading women's network RISE.


Szymon Mercik
Director of Digitalization at BZWBK

Specialized in retail markets, both individuals and SMEs. Repeatedly produced significant cost savings, income growths, efficiency improvements as well as solved significant people management issues. Proven high skills in credit portfolios management of a size up to EUR 10 billion. Excellent management skills of credit offer for customers population up to 4 million. Tomasz co-founded and then sold a blog aggregator (to Agora media holding) and an online store (to a trade distribution network). Rafał Sobczak

Beata Young
Cofounder & chairman at Mission ToRun

Beata Young is a serial entrepreneur from Poland who plays an active role in the startup scene generally, and, specifically, working with women. Beata is a cofounder and Chairman of Mission ToRun, a Polish startup community, based in the city where Copernicus was born. Building on that 500 year innovative legacy, Beata is the founder of tech cafe coworking space Hanza Cafe from which she has mentored women and startups from around the CEE region. Beata is COO of bilingual (English/Polish) community crowdfunding platform HanzaTrade which with its first campaign attracted investors from as far afield as Australia and Spain, Originally the platform was created as a means to help the local startup community gathered around the Mission ToRun ecosystem to gain funding. Her latest venture- producing gourmet roast coffee amongst other products under her Manufactura Hanza brand in cooperation with local craftsmen.


Marcos Bravo
Marketing Expert, Startup Mentor, Keynote speaker. Creator of K.L.A.P. pitch system

Marcos Bravo is the Marketing and Business Developer for Tooploox here in Wroclaw. He has over 15 years of experience in Marketing and Sales for a huge variety of products like beer, diamonds, education, art and most recently video games for Techland. He is an expert on how to reach and engage customers outside the polish market and he is a mentor for Startup Chile, Switzerland and Polish companies. He is also the co-founder of “BRAVO! Cultural and business trainings” and the author of the upcoming book. “K.L.A.P. The pitching method”

Edward Worthy
Java Developer at IG

Ed is a Scrum Master and Developer in the Core Dealing team at IG, where he builds applications with a major focus on resilience, performance and scalability such as IG's Order Management System. Starting in the graduate scheme at IG, he has quickly progressed through his passion for programming and interpersonal skills, and is now in charge of the software development graduate scheme. Ed has also recently mentored at a fintech hackathon, and regularly represents IG at conferences around London.

Wojciech Hołysz
CEO at Filmpoint

Wojtek is the co-founder of Whalla Labs and Filmpoint. He has 8 years of experience in marketing, especially video marketing and social media. He graduated from the first edition of Huge Thing startup accelerator and has been an active member of the startup scene in Poland since then. Currently as the CEO of Filmpoint he works with global companies on communication, HR, education and commercial marketing projects. Will loves all things startups. He founded LiveDuel after graduating from a masters in Global Entrepreneurship and Management, where he studied in three continents. LiveDuel is a fan activation platform for sports. LiveDuel work with fantasy sports companies, sports teams and leagues as well as sports media companies to engage with their users and help them understand their fans.

With an undergraduate degree in Economics and Computer Science he loves to solve problems on the business side as well as the technology side.
