Form Teams
Teams start to form and to discuss the ideas selected

Begin Work
Start to form teams and take an inventory of skills. Be honest and direct about what resources and skills are needed for the weekend. You may stay and work as late as the venue will allow

Daily wrap-up
Location is closing, you'll be able to resume your work in the morning.

Coaches and Mentors


Guido Giordano
Head of Mentorship at TIM#WCAP Accelerator

Guido has launched and managed 3 accelerators in his career, helping to form the structure of the programs and lead more than 100 startups to success. He’s also been an angel investor in several businesses. Currently head of Venture Initiatives at Tree, he is also the mentor in residence at TIM#Wcap Accelerator in Rome, TIM’s corporate accelerator, and is a mentor at StartupBootcamp Foodtech in Rome. Guido got involved with accelerators during university when he was selected to be part of the founding team of LuissEnlabs, while completing his master’s in entrepreurship. After LuissEnlabs, he moved to Canada where he was responsible for creating and launching the Mercury Grove Accelerator program. The accelerator program at Mercury Grove can be considered one of the most successful accelerator programs in the world, with an average growth of the companies, on their key metrics, of 14% per week over a 4 month period. Mercury Grove had its first exit in less than a year.


Simone Demelas
CEO of ARMNet.co

Sardinian, currently based in Rome. Degree in Natural Sciences, GIS and Satellite Remote Sensing expert, after working as an analyst in the GIS field decides to begin to understand how to do business and was thrown in the startup universe. It all started in 2013 with the participation at Startup Weekend Cagliari, from there it was swallowed into the black hole, participating in a lot of startups weekend, working on his own projects. He is currently CEO of ARMNet, a company that deals with integrating augmented reality to the management of infrastructure networks. Passionate about technology in every aspect, music, fitness, new trends. There is always a different way to see things and solve problems


Philipp Kandal
General Manager EU of Telenav

Philipp Kandal is the General Manager EU of Telenav, a leading global navigation company. He is in charge of a 100+ people team in the areas of product and technology. Before skobbler was acquired by Telenav in 2014 he was the co-founder and CTO of skobbler, a pioneering company specialized in OpenStreetMap based navigation solutions targeting both consumers and automotive clients. Philipp is deeply passionate about the innovations in the navigation space, especially with regard to OpenStreetMap and how it will enable the next wave of (semi)autonomous vehicles. Besides this, Philipp is an avid believer in startups and follows this passion as an angel investor and advisor for several young companies.


Daniel Homorodean
CEO at Arxia. Co-founder of PlanningWiz. Board Member at Cluj IT Cluster

Managing Director of Arxia - experienced web development company, his current challenge is to make the Romanian public sector more efficient through the power of BPM and open standards implemented in Arxia's newest product. Co-founder of PlanningWiz, member of the board of Cluj IT Cluster, avid traveler and mountaineer, always ready for new experiences.


Andrei Costescu
CEO mReady

Smart and experienced, Andrei is one of the people that loves doing and moving things forward. Driving his knowledge from everything that surrounds him and 11 years of entrepreneurship, he's always ready to share startup advice if someone needs it. He's also the founder and CEO of Bucharest based mobile development company mReady, he's part of the Forbes "30 under 30" 2015 list and he's always at the very heart of the Romanian startup ecosystem.


Iulian Padurariu

"Always open to new experiences, Iulian likes to take people out of their comfort zone, in order to help them test new ways of interacting with technology and with each other. His newest entrepreneurial project implemented in Cluj only a few months ago - Pony Car Sharing, has already received national media coverage and is highly appreciated by its 1000+ active users. He's passionate about Smart Cities and creating communities, and has a wide expertise in marketing strategies and new technologies."
