Form Teams
Teams start forming and discussing ideas

Begin Work
Start to formalize teams and take an inventory of skills. Be honest, and direct about what resources and skills are needed for the weekend. You may stay and work as late as the venue will allow

Aloka is at the intersection of strategic leadership, startup building, product development and business growing. He is a skilled digital product manager with a strong startup background.

Currently he heads Sri Lanka’s first venture builder, StartupX Foundry.

Aloka has a illustrious background in strategic planning, stakeholder management, product management, digital marketing, team building, operations management and business development.

Ahamed Nishadh
Project Manager, ICTA

Ahamed is a Project Manager of the ICT Agency of Sri Lanka in the Industry Development Program and manages the technology startup support program since 2014. He has implemented a wide range of projects in support of the startup ecosystem in Sri Lanka and is also the co-founder of Disrupt Asia, Sri Lanka's premier startup conference and expo. He has a range of experience in working with startups on a variety of domains while running the Spiralation accelerator program of ICTA and is also involved in many startup initiatives in the country. Out of office, he is also part of the team that organizes TEDxColombo which is the oldest and largest TEDx event in Sri Lanka and also TEDxYouth@Colombo among many other volunteer programs.

Nevindaree Premarathne
Project Manager, ICTA

Nevindaree is a Project Officer of the ICT Agency of Sri Lanka in the Industry Development Program. While primarily working on the Tech Startup Support Program designing and implementing programs for the betterment of the startup ecosystem in Sri Lanka, she also works on the All Children Coding program, the schools maker spaces program and the digital social entrepreneurship program. Formerly a tech lead at Informatics International, Nevindaree has a Bachelors in software engineering, an MBM from the University of Colombo and is also PMP certified. 

Amithe Gamage
Co - Founder at Quantum Leap Pvt Ltd / Director at Synergy Skills (Pvt)Ltd.

Amithe Gamage is an entrepreneur, corporate trainer, mentor, consultant and life coach. Drawing from over 25 years of industry knowledge and experience, he has effectively trained more than 10,000 professionals.  As a trainer he specializes in sales, customer care and motivation.

Andrew Jebaraj
Founder / Director

Andrew is a PHP wizard, an entrepreneur and a die-hard web coder. Andrew is the Co-founder of ReadMe and Co-founder of the non-profit Adopt a Dog in Sri Lanka movement. He possesses a private collection of some of the rarest PC hardware on the planet. Andrew is often adopted by the dogs he saves.

Kanishka Weeramunda
Founder, PayMedia

Kanishka started his first company at age 19, and second venture at age 24. Professional career includes being Head of IT at a subsidiary of Landmark Group, Dubai and CIO of Laugfs Holdings. Eventually he ventured into his own businesses. His recent startup "PayMedia" won the Gold award as the National Best Software Quality awards 2015 for running a company with 3 employers supporting 3 large local banks, 2 Finance Institutes and 180 telecommunication companies globally. He was the Most Valuable ICT entrepreneur of the year in 2015.
