STHLM Startup Weekend FinTech
Friday, January 27 - 29, 2017
Friday, January 27 - 29, 2017
Event starts at 5:30 pm
Calling entrepreneurs, hackers, dreamers, change makers and catalysts: change the world in 54 hours!
- You have a FinTech idea and looking for talented team members to kickstart it?
- You've got talent and want to make the world a better place just in 54h?
- You want to learn how to turn a blurry idea in your head into a unicorn company?
Mentors and coaches will help you to learn where to start, how to build a MVP and launch your startup!
Our goal for this event is to connect people who are passionate and want to tackle the tough challenges in the financial and fintech industries, all while learning-by-doing, firsthand, what makes a business and an idea successful.
Don't know anything/not interested in FinTech? No problem - ALL THE IDEAS ARE WELCOME!
How does Startup Weekend work:
All Startup Weekend events follow the same basic model: anyone is welcome to pitch their startup idea and receive feedback from their peers. Teams organically form around the top ideas (as determined by popular vote) and then it’s a 54-hour frenzy of business model creation, coding, designing, and market validation. The weekends culminate with presentations in front of local entrepreneurial leaders with another opportunity for critical feedback.
