The First Startup Weekend Education Taipei is coming! 第一個以教育創新為主題的創業週末即將在台北舉辦!

Startup Weekend Education(創業週末教育版)是一個54小時的活動,匯集了熱情的教育工作者,程式開發人員和設計師,幫助設計和製作可行的產品,相關服務或學校運行模式,解決一些教育中最緊迫的問題。Startup Weekend Education提供了一個獨特的機會展示如何在一個週末啟動教育創業。

Startup Weekend Education過去已在超過41個國家,112個城市舉辦,超過12000人參加過。畢業的校友也成功地創造了像VideCode, 
Clever, ClassDojo, NoRedInk, Epic Charter School, Qeyno Labs, Night Zookeeper, BrightLoop, PenPal Schools, The Coursebook, Timbuktu, CodeNow, VideoNotes, Three Ring, LessonCast, PiggyBackr這些公司。

第一次的Startup Weekend Education Taipei將在我們的活動夥伴三創育成基金會的場地舉辦(三創11樓)。我們也將邀請來自美國矽谷舉辦多場Startup Weekend EDU的主辦人來到台灣指導(備翻譯引導大家),同時也邀請國內對教育及新創環境有卓越貢獻的專業人士與天使投資人擔任評審與諮詢。

Review agenda for the weekend and introduce speakers, coaches, and community leaders

Optionally line up to give your pitch

Attendees vote for the top pitches

Form Teams
Teams start forming and discussing ideas

Begin Work
Start to formalize teams and take an inventory of skills. Be honest, and direct about what resources and skills are needed for the weekend. You may stay and work as late as the venue will allow

Jessica Falkenthal
Education Community & Growth Marketing Strategist

Jessica Falkenthal leads growth marketing, community building and experience design for education startups, schools and nonprofits. She has a deep love for creating engaging education experiences from managing online learning communities, coaching early-stage education entrepreneurs, growing the Startup Weekend Education program worldwide, founding her own education startup, recruiting for an online MBA program, leading professional development workshops for educators, and designing and teaching technology classes for the Boys and Girls Club and 4-H Youth Development programs. Jessica is a community organizer for the SF Edtech Happy Hour, Ignite SF Education, 4-H, Startup Weekend Education, and Education Startup Digest.

韓荷麗(Holly Harrington)自 TSS 於 2015 年草創時期即扮演多功能的角色,從整體品牌行銷策略與設計、新創輔導計畫執行、到籌劃與執行跨亞洲及北美的海外展覽商務團等。在 TSS 之前,她服務過許多在科技及娛樂產業的客戶,包含 Discovery TLC 瘋台灣節目、藝人謝怡芬個人品牌、翊新故事科技、及四合願。生為美國人,她從 2005 年起定居台北,現為台灣永久居民。她也是成立於 2013 年推動移民法改革及促使更多當地企業家吸引及留任國際人才的非營利組織 Forward Taiwan 創始成員之一。
Taiwan Startup Stadium Co-Founder & General Manager Holly Harrington has played an integral part in TSS since its founding in 2015, from overall branding and marketing strategy to the design and execution of startup coaching programs, as well as international exhibitions across Asia and North America. Prior to the formation of TSS, she served a broad variety of clients in entertainment and tech, including Discovery TLC, Fun Taiwan's Janet Hsieh, StorySense, and Fourdesire. American by birth, she is a permanent resident of Taiwan and has resided in Taipei since 2005. She is a founding member of Forward Taiwan, formed in 2013 to promote immigration reform and enable local entrepreneurs to attract and retain international talent.
