所有想法蒐集完畢後，專家與Mentors們會從中選出最佳的幾個想法，4/23 (四) 活動前一天天主辦單位會將這些雀屏中選的 ideas 公佈給大家，讓大家在 4/25 (五) 活動開始前的 24 小時組成你們心目中的強大隊伍！
被選出來的點子將會在 Startup Weekend 開跑後的 54 小時內，開始一場瘋狂的點子落地馬拉松，包括商業模式確認，產品原型設計與開發與市場驗證。本次的創業週末結束時，團隊可以向本次活動參與的政府與企業做一場商業的 Pitching，尋求獲得更多的資源與建議。
世界上70多個國家已經響應參與這次以 COVID-19 為主題的 Startup Weekend，其中 21 國為亞太區國家，生活在本次防疫成績全球矚目的台灣，這是站上世界舞台的全球連線競賽前哨戰！

▍Join the Global Movement
For the first time ever, Startup Weekend Taiwan is joining the Techstars global movement to host a Global Online Startup Weekend alongside 70 countries around the world. This series of virtual Startup Weekends will be focused on tackling issues from the #COVID19 #pandemic and developing solutions unique to each country.
Techstars will select up to 20 teams from all the country level winners and invite them to participate in an exclusive Techstars Innovation Bootcamp. The program will surround teams with the frameworks, mentorship, and resources necessary to rapidly identify and validate solutions effectively. We want to help them do more, faster! Details on selecting the Top 20 teams is coming soon!
▍Who Should Join?
We’re calling all developers, designers, marketers, nurses, doctors, students, scientists, business owners, teachers and anyone with an idea to tackle the challenges created by the global pandemic. This is your chance to join forces with thousands of people from dozens of countries and truly make a difference!
Experienced entrepreneurs with ready products are also welcomed!!
▍How to Join?
⚠️Attention: Final due for ideas submission is 11:59pm (GMT+8 Taipei Time) on 4/22, Wednesday.
Experts & mentors will pick the top ideas and declare the chosen ones on 4/23 Thursday, so that you and all participants will have the next 24 hours to start forming your A-Teams, before Startup Weekend kicks off on 4/24, Friday!

Gino Chang works in Internet industry for 6 years and has seasoned experience in investment and strategy. Now, he is General Manager of KKTV, the prestige video streaming service in Taiwan under KKBOX Group. Previously, Gino worked in Morgan Stanley to cover Asia semiconductor Industry.
Leland has built several fast-growth businesses in both Asia and Silicon Valley. phireGEN specializes in C-level strategic consulting and business development execution in the Technology, Media and Telecom (TMT) space. Over the years, our boutique firm has delivered engagements spanning Spain, Kazakhstan, Korea, Brazil, Greater China and Hollywood USA. Leland is currently advising SBIE2’s private placement business and guiding a client through the T-Mobile/Sprint merger. Prior to this, he headed Facebook's Telecom infra Project and led GSMA through a major strategic pivot that grew Mobile World Congress Shanghai by 3658% over 7 years. Leland was part of the 2007 Terayon executive team when Motorola acquired it for USD 140M and part of the 2001 eOn Communications’ IPO team. He began his career in 1990 at Hutchison Telecom.
Leland was a recipient of Award for Excellence in TMT from WI Harper, and was named an Executive to Watch by Fierce Wireless Magazine and a Conference Ambassador by Shanghai. He holds both an MBA and a BS in mechanical engineering from UCLA.
A business builder and strategist with 10+ years of experience in consulting and tech. Nancy has an integrated understanding of strategy, product development, tech and commercialization through her current and prior work experiences. Interested in creatively solving problems and passionate about building new businesses that allow more people to understand themselves, experience the world and connect with each other. Before starting PathWisdom, Nancy was in a product role at TripAdvisor and a senior consultant at McKinsey & Company. Has extensive experience working in both US & the APAC region (Taiwan, Singapore, Japan, Korea, China, HK). Received an MBA from Harvard Business School and a Bachelor of Law degree from National Taiwan University.
Poseidon invests science-driven ventures. Prior to founding Outliers Fund, he researched collective intelligence at MIT Media Lab, biomimicry at San Diego Zoo, and reality computing at Microsoft Research Asia.
Andrew is a presentation coach and designer who has spent 12+ years working with Nobel-winning scientists, national leaders, corporate executives, startup founders, and venture investors. At the urging of a major VC, he co-founded Presentality in 2017 to help startups present more effectively to international investors, clients, and partners. Since then, Presentality has served over 100 companies, of which many went on to raise millions in venture funding. It has also worked with VC firms on their global communication and fundraising. Before this, Andrew was at Taiwan’s Presidential Office, where he was foreign policy speechwriter to the President and Vice President. He also spent 6 years at the International Science Council (which represents the global science community at the United Nations), working with President and Nobel Laureate Prof. YT Lee and other scientists on their presentation and communication. Andrew grew up in Taiwan, Europe and the United States, and speaks English, Mandarin, French, and German. He received his B.A. in International Affairs from the University of Wisconsin-Madison, and his M.A. in Law and Diplomacy from the Fletcher School.
Shawn Chu is a senior investment manager at Taiwania Capital, he is familiar with Taiwan startup ecosystem and community, and now focuses on the investments in IoT application, enterprise software and internet industry. Before joining Taiwania, Shawn has over ten years work experience in startups, venture capital and IBM. Shawn received B.S. from National Taiwan University in Physic and M.S. from University of Wisconsin - Madison in Electrical and Computer Engineering.
Allen is a former founder - co-founded a company in San Francisco called Loopd which specialized in human traffic analysis at large tech conferences with IoT and Big Data analytics. Allen has a background in software (and a bit of hardware) engineering, and an MBA as well. Outside of work, Allen loves playing tennis, the guitar, and deep role-playing adventure or strategy games. Also a huge board game nerd. Currently serving as a Startup Biz Dev Manager at Amazon Web Services.

Mike is Assistant VP of CDIB Capital Innovation Accelerator (CCIA) and Alibaba Taiwan Entrepreneurs Fund I (Ali Fund). He focuses on early stage investments in AI, fintech, cloud computing, IoT and e-commerce. Mike has participated in 18 investments with total investment amount near US$40M. Mike is currently the director of portfolio companies FunNow, Tagtoo, and CloudMile.
A cybersecurity professional and a passionate nonprofit entrepreneur, with lifelong thirst for technology and community building. Hao-Wei has established multinational nonprofit groups and is leading the efforts to pursue their high-impact missions. He works as Head of Vulnerability Research Program at a global e-commerce company. Outside of work, he serves as the President of NEX Foundation and the Chair of Cybersecurity Advisory Committee in Overseas of National Security Council (Taiwan).
A physician-scientist with experience in developing and commercializing biomedical technologies as well healthcare investing. I hold a MD and BSc in physics from NTU, MPhil from Cambridge, and a PhD in biophysics from Harvard.
David Kuo is the co-founder and CEO of iiiNNO, a startup launchpad based in Taipei with an early-stage investment of 25K to 50K USD. He is committed to collaborating with startup founders to achieve 10X growth via business model validation and to acquire the first customer in the new Asian markets. David speaks and shares frequently in Asia on how to build a sustainable ecosystem and how to build a successful cross border startup team with founders, ecosystem builders and policymakers. Moreover, he contributes to the development of the Taiwan and Asia ecosystem by rolling out global initiatives and program locally such as Startup Weekend / Startup Grind and GEN Global in Taiwan since 2011.
