Danny Bluestone
Founder & CEO Cyber-Duck

Danny is the founder and CEO of Cyber-Duck, a Hertfordshire and London-based digital agency. Cyber-Duck are experts in the field of user experience (UX), branding and application development. 


Patrick Drake
Co-Founder & Head Chef at HelloFresh

From the world’s most powerful investment bank to the world’s most respected restaurant Patrick Drake’s journey has been anything but conventional. 

London’s corporate conveyor belt quickly lost its allure and so began a secret double life. Lunchtimes hiding out with the chefs in his firm’s fine dining restaurant, evenings in the kitchen of The Cuckoo Club in Mayfair and weekends with renowned Spanish chef Jose Pizarro.
 

After a stint at The Fat Duck in Bray he couldn’t pretend to love his day job any longer and jettisoned the rat race to pursue his love of food full time.
 

Nowadays he is the co-founder and head chef of nationwide cook-from-scratch delivery service HelloFresh, presenter of "When Patrick Met Kylie: A Love, of Food, Story" (airing in 70 countries), food writer for Women's Health and the Huffington Post and teaches thousands of people a day to cook using his Youtube channel “The 60 Second Chef”.

CEO and Founder at Pizza Rossa

After a life in large construction projects and an Executive MBA at the London Business School, Corrado decided to let the entrepreneur in him come out: put together life-long passion for great pizza and authentic Italian food… and Pizza Rossa was born! The business plan for Pizza Rossa won several awards and Pizza Rossa broke the European record for the highest crowd-funded equity-based start up at the end of 2013.


JinA Bae
Co-founder & CEO of CHOPCHOP, SW winner

JinA is the co-founder & CEO of CHOPCHOP, a dynamic cooking task management app backed by an AI algorithm. She is an avid home cook and is passionate about introducing technology into traditional recipes and rethinking the way we cook. Before starting CHOPCHOP, she spent 3 years at McKinsey & Company in San Francisco and London, specialising in tech strategy, go-to-market and big-data analytics. She holds a B.A. in Ethics, Politics & Economics from Yale University.


Madeleine Blyth
Programme Manger - Barclays Accelerator Powered by Techstars

Madeleine is the Programme Manager of Techstars Barclays FinTech Accelerator. She has always worked with startups, mostly in Business Development and Marketing roles, in every sector from environmental technology to artificial intelligence. She was the editor of an online journal for social entrepreneurs and loves everything related to sustainable food.


Alessio D'Antino
Co-founder at Crowdfooding

Co-founder of Crowdfooding, an equity-based crowdfunding platform for food-related ventures. Big time foodie with marketing background and experience in product launch management, brand building and promotional campaign development. I have successfully developed and executed marketing plans for a number of brands both within big organizations and startups. 


Gil Hazan
SVP Business Development, Managing Director, Europe at MyCheck

Gil is opening new regions and exploring future opportunities for MyCheck. Currently he is building, supporting and propels the UK and European markets with MyCheck’s global vision in mind. With his expert knowledge in the hospitality sector, he makes sure we are fast, accurate and smart. Previous to joining MyCheck, Gil headed several restaurants and bars, which under his management displayed unprecedented yearly growth. Prior to his involvement in the hospitality industry, Gil was a senior project manager in the Israeli Airport Authority.


Fahim Hussain
Founder at Market Munch

Fahim is the founder at Market Munch which is a street food discovery payment app. Market Munch provides real time offers from street food vendors cooking up the best in the business. It’s pretty simple locate the closest vendors around you scroll through their menus, choose your favourite, then pay for it through the app. It’s a cashless experience that makes street food easier. Before this Fahim was a tech start up consultant getting the best talent in for promising start ups.


Kastytis Kemezys
Founder at Cinnamon Bridge

Kastytis is passionate about two things: food and helping businesses to thrive. He co-founded MyDrink Beverages and created DrinkPreneur Live beverage awards. He realized that what businesses really needed to intense, targeted help to connect with investors, grow their sales and improve their business. To provide this he created Cinnamon Bridge in 2014 .


Matt Kuppers
Founder & CEO at Startup Manufactory

Matt is the founder and CEO of Startup Manufactory, he is also the co-founder of MenuSpring, a London Business School Incubator backed startup that has been featured in the best British Startup 100 ranking in 2013, currently valued at £3m.

Matt also acts as advisor and screening panel member to a number of accelerators such as Microsoft Ventures Accelerator, London Business School ESS, Saïd Business School, and as startup mentor to Startupbootcamp FinTech and Pitch@Palace, an initiative by HRH Duke of York. Matt is also member of various alumni angel clubs such as Oxford Venture Club.

Prior to that, Matt held a position as associate at West London based venture capital firm, where he worked across the full spectrum of investing activities and also co-founded an SEO boutique firm as Intrapreneur.


David McDougall
Consultant at Alliants

David McDougall is currently a consultant with Alliants, where he works with companies big and small to innovate and to improve their digital strategy and execution. He also advises early-stage startups in markets including fintech, mobile e-commerce, beauty/fashion, and two-sided marketplaces. He is a frequent organiser and mentor at Startup Weekend and at various accelerators & hackathons in London and beyond, where he teaches teams how to build something people want.


Ali Meruani
Founder at MenuSpring

Ali Meruani is the founder of MenuSpring (eet app), a food-tech startup that informs dinners of the current wait times at nearby restaurants. Prior to MenuSpring, Ali was involved with launching Frogmetrics – a YCombinator backed startup in Europe. Ali is an Entrepreneur Mentor in Residence at London Business School from where he received his MBA.


Tani Pasia
Founder of Hackney Downs Food Assembly and UX Design at Red Badger

With a genuine interest in UX, User Research, Marketing, Community building and passion about all things digital, I believe that in a busy, fast paced world simplicity is elegance. 

I agree with the view that "design can make everything possible" ..but with a twist:
'User-centred design based on solid UX principles can make everything possible'


Ryan Perera
CEO and co-founder at Henchman

Ryan Perera is the CEO and co-founder at Henchman, a concierge delivery app that gets you anything you want delivered from any restaurant or store in under 60 minutes using its network of Henchman drivers. Henchman combines great technology with great customer service to create amazing customer experiences. 

Ryan is a serial entrepreneur who formerly worked as a music producer and cardiothoracic surgeon.  Ryan is passionate about using artificial intelligence and machine learning to solve complex problems and believes this will change the future as we know it.


Ivan Shyr
Investment Director, Sussex Place Ventures

Ivan has been an Investment Director at Sussex Place Ventures since 2011. His investment focus is on early stage technology companies, especially in the areas of scientific innovation (e.g., Nanotech) and B2B Digital Platforms. He is an experienced operating manager of global technology companies, especially between Asia (China) and USA. Previously he was the Corp Development Director at Shanghai Gulf Semiconductor, a leading Chinese semiconductor manufacturer, where he leveraged operational improvements to manage corporate growth to achieve +$60m in annual revenues. He is a graduate of London Business School and UC Berkeley.


Raj Sharma
Co-founder of Only by Nature, Serial Entrepreneur and investor

Raj opened his first successful business aged 23 in the world of Fashion wholesale and retail which included 57 retail outlets in its peak. Moving on to property Developement and now start ups, his newest ventures include: HiyaCar a car Sharing Platform launching shortly and Only by Nature, The UKs yummiest healthy frozen yoghurt recently launched in Waitrose. 


Chris Steinau
Co-Founder and Head of Marketing at Uncover

Chris is co-founder and Head of Marketing at Uncover, the app to book last minute tables at London's hottest restaurants. Before Uncover, Chris worked for 5 years in investment banking at Deutsche Bank, did his MBA at London Business School and co-founded the business development department at YPlan.


David Voxlin
Founder at Craved

David is the founder of Craved, an e-commerce start-up devoted to discovering and championing British craft food and drink and the produces who make it. David started his career working on climate change and marketing strategy at places such as World Wildlife Foundation (WWF), McKinsey & Co, and LRW, before coming up deciding that there was a way to both create positive social change and spend lots of time tasting food.
