Come join us and build your idea into a unicorn FinTech startup!

We are delighted to announce a star studded line-up of sponsors, judges and coaches for the much awaited Startup Weekend FinTech at Google Campus on the first weekend of May!

We are proud to have Atom as a headline sponsor, followed by other big names in finance, tech and design - such as Uphold, Th_nk, Vestd and Growth Street. These sponsors will offer swag, mentoring, great prizes and assets that will help make the weekend a great success for all our participants.

What is Startup Weekend

The startup movement has accelerated growth in many London and global industries, and fintech is one the most exciting and rapidly developing industries in the world! The time for entrepreneurs and innovators to work and invest in their ideas is now. The industry is more susceptible to ideas now than ever before. Our goal for this event is to connect people who are passionate and want to tackle the tough challenges in the financial and fintech industries, all while learning-by-doing, firsthand, what makes a business and an idea successful.

How does Startup Weekend work:

All Startup Weekend events follow the same basic model: anyone is welcome to pitch their startup idea and receive feedback from their peers. Teams organically form around the top ideas (as determined by popular vote) and then it’s a 54-hour frenzy of business model creation, coding, designing, and market validation. The weekends culminate with presentations in front of local entrepreneurial leaders with another opportunity for critical feedback.
