Petar Stojanov
Co-founder at Ebtikar

Dr. Petar has navigated multiple careers across three continents, from academic research scientist and lecturer in Australia, to corporate technical consultant in Germany, before settling in the UAE as a management consultant and entrepreneur.

In 2016, Petar founded Ebtikaar, a boutique innovation advisory. In less than a year, Ebtikaar has executed a portfolio of successful projects across the UAE, including the region’s first academically supported entrepreneurship accelerator mentorship program, as well as building entrepreneurship and innovation competencies in the Dubai Government under the highly acclaimed EXPO and Dubai 10X initiatives, as well as developing innovation competencies with the UAE Ministry of Education. Nominated for the 2017 Arabian Business Mentor of the Year award, Petar is a contributing writer for Entrepreneur ME, Arabian Business and Inc. Arabia and regularly speaks on his favoured topic; the
Science of Disruptive Innovation.

Morrad Irsane
CEO Co-Founder of Melltoo

Morrad Irsane is the co-founder and CEO of Melltoo, a peer-to-peer marketplace for secondhand with door to door delivery. Morrad is a lifelong entrepreneur, having founded multiple businesses in the past, including two successful prior exits internationally. As an active participant in the UAE startup ecosystem, Morrad regularly engages with other entrepreneurs to build bridges and strengthen networks. He loves to meet new entrepreneurs so reach out!

Omar Al Busaidy
Global Shaper at World Economic Forum, Author, Entrepreneur

Mr. Al Busaidy is a UAE national with over 13 years’ experience in the UAE’s corporate environment and holds a B.Sc. in Marketing from the American University in Dubai. He is currently pursuing his post-graduate studies in Innovation and Entrepreneurial Leadership at the Hamdan Bin Mohammed Smart University.

A published author of ‘Just Read It’, an entrepreneurial guide to self-development, Omar also serves as Managing Partner in his own Gentleman’s Salon enterprise. Since 2010 Omar has been invited to mentor students on entrepreneurship and leadership at several universities across Abu Dhabi and Dubai and has also worked with organisations such as AISEC, Khalifa Fund and Abu Dhabi Council for Economic Development.

He has also appeared as a keynote speaker and panellist at several events and conferences organized by many prestigious organizations including tedXyouthAlAin, 37th World Diamond Congress, Harvard Business Club, DP World and many more.

Omar has worked in both the public and private sector in prestigious organisations such as the Abu Dhabi Tourism & Culture Authority, Dubai Chamber of Commerce & Industry, National Bank of Dubai and serving as commercial attaché at the British Embassy.

Natalie Sleiman
Head of UAE | She Loves Tech

Natalie Sleiman is currently the Head of She Loves Tech UAE, a global initiative
showcasing the convergence of the latest trends in technology, entrepreneurship,
innovation and the opportunities it creates for women. She Loves Tech is the world’s
largest startup competition, boot camp and international conference series focused on
women and technology.
With over 13 years of experience working regionally across a variety of industries
including financial services, manufacturing and automotive, Natalie has experience
across a variety of disciplines including marketing, strategic planning, business
development, product and program management. She formerly set up and led the
captive insurance business for Volkswagen Group brands across the Middle East.
Natalie holds an Executive MBA from INSEAD and is part of the executive committee of
INSEAD’s National Alumni Association in the UAE, the business school’s second largest
alumni group globally. Natalie is passionate about empowering women in tech and keen
to encourage entrepreneurial potential through the use of technology and exploring
innovative business models to build capacity and sustainability.

Nabra Al Busaidi
Executive Director at Young Arab Leaders

Nabra comes with a background in Commercial and Mergers and Acquisition Law. Her professional experience includes working closely with HSBC Bank Oman S.A.O.G Board of Directors and senior management with the core responsibility of applying Corporate Governance Standards. In addition, she proactively provided support to the CEO and management to meet their business objectives and ensured trust is created between the Regulators and the Bank and that the Board of Directors are aware of their corporate legal and regulatory responsibilities through ongoing board induction, training and development. Nabra received her Legal Practice Course and Master’s Degree in Commercial Law from the University of Law, London.

Hisham Safadi
CEO & Founder

Dr. Hisham is an entrepreneur, qualified dentist, knowledgeable lecturer and motivational coach. He is an experienced medical facility manager and an accomplished health care insurance and investment professional with 9+ years of diversified in 
- Identification and negotiation of business opportunities to achieve organizational objectives.
-Providing healthcare advisory and managerial experience within the healthcare sector, providing strategy for the medical oversight for creating new departments and marketing services on national and international scale.
- setting the strategic direction and priorities within the context of the healthcare investment projects and new business start-up in this sector.

Saif AlJaibeji
CEO, MEA at UnitedHealth Group

Physician and senior healthcare executive- work experience in healthcare delivery at public and private hospitals, health policy and government strategy, NGO, education, health investment, pharmaceutical and healthcare research & consulting and regional health insurance industry.

Mashal Waqar
CTO & Co-founder | The Tempest

Mashal Waqar is the co-founder and CTO of The Tempest, the fastest growing online media company for diverse women in the world. She is a fierce advocate of accessibility, diversity, and inclusion, and has been awarded the "Young Leader of the Year" at the 19th WIL Economic Forum and the the 2017 President’s Cup for her work. She previously worked on Deaf accessibility initiatives at the Rochester Institute of Technology (RIT), Dubai campus, and is currently leading the accessibility pivot at The Tempest. The Tempest has been awarded by Forbes for media this year, and is quickly growing to become a household name, by building a loyal audience with over 3 million monthly readers. Waqar strongly believes in empowering women and bringing their voices to the forefront; her prior work experience comes from transitioning in roles in cyber security, digital marketing, and tech while working for various startups.
