Brian Anderson

Brian Anderson is a veteran executive and entrepreneur in the sports, fitness and outdoor industries.  He most recently served as CEO and co-founder of Madd Gear, a leading global brand of action sports products.  Anderson previously served as President of EB Sport Group, Sportline and Valeo (fitness accessories and fitness electronics), Senior VP of Global Sales and Marketing at 180s (outdoor apparel and accessories) and held various roles outside of the sports industry.  He has also served as a Board Member for several companies in the sports and outdoor industries and has been intimately involved in several industry acquisitions.  Anderson currently serves on the Board of Directors of the Sports and Fitness Industry Association (SFIA) and heads up the SFIA task force on Sports and Fitness Technology.  He was a recipient of the Sporting Goods Business 40 Under 40 award in 2010.  Anderson holds a degree in chemical engineering from Virginia Tech and is a graduate of the Wharton School of Business at The University of Pennsylvania.

Executive Director - Cook Center for Entrepreneurship

Steve Bryant serves as the Executive Director of the Gayle and Bill Cook Center for Entrepreneurship at Ivy Tech Community College in Bloomington where he is developing and implementing a strategic plan for an entrepreneurial studies program to assist students and individuals looking to start entrepreneurial ventures. Steve has held a wide array of positions within the government, not-for-profit, life sciences industry and higher education, but most recently as Business Development & Marketing Manager for BioConvergence, a small, growing life sciences company in Bloomington, Indiana.

Chris Borland

Chris is seasoned entrepreneur and an IU grad that came for school and made Bloomington his home, 30 years ago. He has over 2 decades of experience leading R&D teams in innovative projects at IU and starting four tech startups. Chris has lead projects researching radical-pair based sensor systems in animals, spearheading the development of several augmented reality location based training systems, multiple educational gaming applications, mobile and web applications for entertainment and social engagement and mobile advertising to drive foot traffic to merchant's physical locations. In 2013, he created his most recent startup FeetHere LLC, a foot traffic marketplace for mobile marketing to drive mobile users to merchants.
