Amy Cosper
Former VP, Editor-in-Chief of Entrepreneur Magazine

Amy Cosper is the CEO of Radical Upstarts, former Editor in Chief of Entrepreneur magazine and has been reporting and commenting on the world of entrepreneurship for 12 years. Cosper is an evangelist for innovation and disruption around the globe. She is keenly aware of the power of entrepreneurship on a cultural and economic level.
Her mission is to spread the word and promise of these philosophies on a global scale and to make an impact by teaching these ideas. 
She is the Producer of the Creative Business Cup—Adventure Zone featuring a business pitch challenge focused on human performance entrepreneurs.

Cosper recently completed a book and a documentary that explore the deep economic and cultural impact heralded by the global entrepreneurship movement. She is an award-winning editor and writer and strongly adheres to the idea that “on the other side of your fear, is your success.”  And she would know, since she rides a Ducati and only does sports that require a helmet.

Julie Penner
Director at Techstars Boulder

Julie is a Director at Techstars, a 13 week mentorship-driven accelerator for software technology startups running 23 programs year around and around the world. Prior to Techstars, Julie was the VP of Operations for Graphicly, a VC-backed company automating ebooks conversions and distribution platforms. Prior to that, she was a Corporate Development Analyst at Liberty Media and Liberty Interactive. She holds an JD/MBA from University of Colorado with an emphasis in entrepreneurship and a BA from Brown University. Other work includes positions at SRS, a company that manages escrows and holdbacks in VC-backed M&A deals, Lijit (now Sovrn), a VC-backed adtech company, and the CU Tech Transfer Office. She began her career at Zeo, a Boston-based VC-backed startup that developed a sleep-tracking consumer hardware product.

Ken McDonald
Chief Growth Officer

Ken has been involved with customer growth for two decades. For example, starting in 1998, he was a leader on Oracle’s e-commerce team. There he helped grow Oracle’s e-commerce business from a relatively small site to one that was doing hundreds of millions of dollars a year in business. At the time, it was one of the largest e-commerce sites on the web.Later Ken joined LifePics, an online photo company, where he ran everything from marketing to product management to account management. While Ken was there, he grew LifePics from a few thousand users to a user base of over 12 million. After LifePics, Ken joined TeamSnap as Chief Growth Officer. As Chief Growth Officer at TeamSnap he runs growth marketing, sales, and analytics. During his tenure at TeamSnap, he has used cutting-edge analytics to grow TeamSnap from half a million users to 20 million users. He also drove the B2B side of TeamSnap’s business from a handful of accounts to roughly 5,000 customers.Ken is a co-author of How to Acquire Your First Million Customers, a book focused on growth marketing.Ken has a MBA from Stanford and a BA in Math and Economics from Dartmouth.

I am a high-tech industry strategy and innovation leader with more than 20 years' experience leading new business initiatives in B2B enterprise software. As Managing Director of Hyperscale Ventures, I work with private equity and venture capital firms that provide growth capital to high potential scale-up opportunities in the information technology industry. Prior to Hyperscale Ventures, I was a Strategic Marketing Director in Seagate Technology's New Business Incubator where I held product management, market development, and corporate development roles for new business initiatives that fueled over $500M in revenue. Before Seagate, I served as Director of New Business Development at Imation, a spin-off of 3M, where I led a team that executed the strategy to transform the company into a trusted storage expert by launching new businesses in storage consulting, product services, and cloud-based data protection and recovery services. Prior to Imation, I held engineering and product management positions at IBM where I led the first cloud-based deployment of an enterprise retail industry application for the SMB market. I have an M.S. in Management of Technology from the University of Minnesota and a B.S. in Engineering from The University of Iowa and am an avid life-long learner completing multiple executive education programs in general management, entrepreneurship and venture capital at Northwestern's Kellogg School of Management, MIT's Sloan School, and UC Berkeley's Haas School.

A 15 year active duty US Navy veteran that worked for Naval Intelligence as a Chinese Linguist and Training Mgr. After getting out he went back to college, but not for long as while there he came up with, tested and developed an algorithm that matches cool people with other cool people. Then after a two years of testing started Get Social - The new old-fashioned way to meet people, as the Founder and CEO. Tyrone is a steering committee member of TechSparks: a social forum for Entrepreneurs, in Pasadena. A co-organizer or the Innovate Pasadena Friday Morning Coffee meetup. A Startup Weekend (SW) Facilitator and lead organizer of multiple events including the first ever SW geared toward underserved students.
