Marc Nager
Startuper, skier, mountaineer, and CEO of UP Global - [ Startup Weekend, Startup Week, Startup Digest, Education Entrepreneurs, Startup Next ]

Marc Nager is the President and CCO of Techstars Startup Programs. In early 2009, he found the opportunity to acquire Startup Weekend, LLC and to transform it into a non-profit to help others pursue their passions, solve real problems, and impact the world around them. Years later, UP Global has built a network of more than 150,000 alumni, thousands of volunteer organizers and hundreds of trained facilitators spread across more than 500 cities in 130 countries, which later merged with Techstars. Marc balances his mission to make entrepreneurship a universally accessible career path with an active lifestyle. Marc holds a degree in International Business from Chapman University in Southern California. An ambitious go-getter, he is dedicated to expanding his experience and understanding of startup ecosystems around the world. His efforts focus on increasing the levels and quality of support available for passionate entrepreneurs and communities. Entrepreneurship is something that can be taught and learned, and he’s on a mission to make it possible for anyone.

Ian McConville
Program Manager, Rockies Venture Club

Ian's the Program Manager at RVC where he organizes 100 events every year including: the Angel Capital Summit, the University Startup Challenge, and a host of other education and pitching events. In addition to organizing these events Ian manages the communications to RVC’s community of over 6000 entrepreneurs, investors and service providers. He regularly assists with the club’s due diligence process, where companies that are looking for investment are vetted.   Previously Ian interned in Kathmandu for the Nepal Youth Foundation where he designed a playground for the Nutritional Rehabilitation Home outside of the city. This facility is designed for kids to recover from malnutrition while their caregivers are educated on proper nutritional practices.    Ian graduated Magna Cum Laude from Lehigh University with B.S. in Mechanical Engineering. In his spare time he enjoys hiking and skiing the mountains of Colorado and playing Rugby.

Professional achievements – MBA from Amos Tuck School at Dartmouth.  Career started in commercial and investment banking (over $1.5 billion raised in debt and equity offerings), transitioned to become successful business and corporate development company executive for over 20 years (over 50 transactions completed in M&A, corporate partnerships, distribution agreements, technology licensing deals, etc.).  Moved to Summit county eight years ago and initially worked in financial and retirement planning with New York Life. Three years ago became Executive Director of the Friends of the Dillon Ranger District, a Summit county nonprofit organization that promotes stewardship of our local forest.

Danella Soeka
Owner/Creative Commander, Open Door Marketing

Danella is a seasoned marketing executive with over 14 years of proven experience managing company startups and rebrands within the casino/resort and hotel community, education, finance and hospitality industries. She has managed annual marketing and advertising budgets in excess of $4million, opened/rebranded four Midwest casinos from scratch and "lived to talk about it", as well as five other company startups in the Denver area. Nicknamed “the champion of change”, this passionate and high-energy marketeer specializes in strong strategic planning, branding, business development, the art of building relationships and consultative problem-solving. 

Steven Stoker
Marketing Manager

Marketing Manager for the destination marketing organization for the Town of Breckenridge. 

Responsible for planning and implementing marketing campaigns and promotions that support the Breckenridge brand and assure proper messaging throughout marketing, special events, sales and public relations. Works to develop, optimize and analyze a wide breadth of advertising media campaigns including: social media, digital display, PPC, native content marketing, e-mail, video, print, radio, TV and more.

For more than 20 years Glen has been involved with business development and strategic planning for early stage and expanding businesses. 

Evergreen Revenue provides services for management teams, entrepreneurs, and business owners.  Covering strategy, implementation, and ongoing management; our systems approach guides organizations through transitional periods and growth initiatives.  By unifying Marketing, Sales, Business Development, and Operational efforts the Evergreen Revenue System delivers measurable results in a comprehensive package.  Creating a custom solution for each unique business we establish priorities, define deliverables, identify metrics for success, and manage programs to ensure the greatest return on investment.  Based in Summit County, we enjoy working with local businesses and supporting our mountain community.
