54 Hours. Build a Business. No big deal.

Except it is a big deal and it's happening here in the Springs. Techstars Startup Weekend brings together people with different skill sets (developer, designers, and business people) to experience an intense weekend of building a new business. And this November our community is going to be participating on a global scale as part of Techstars Global Startup Weekend. Pretty cool, right? That means you'll join a community of thousands of alumni and supporters around the world.

So what is it?

On Friday night you pitch an idea and/or join a team of like minded people to build a startup from the ground up. On Saturday and Sunday you talk to potential customers, build your business, and get help from mentors in the community.

We also provide you with all meals, snacks, and beverages!

Why should you attend?
  • Build your network
  • Co-founder dating
  • Learn a new skill
  • Get face time with thought leaders
  • Join a global community
  • Actually launch a business!
We hope you'll join us for an epic weekend!

Chris Franz

I found, fund, and drive the creation of high growth companies, primarily in high-tech, and data driven areas. I love the ability to disrupt markets that haven't moved in years with the leverage of technology and intelligence. I have pursued this goal in a number of markets that include real estate, finance, big data analytics, energy, healthcare (ouch), defense and first responder technology.

I love the power of data and technology to transform the efficiency and profitability of almost any industry sector.

I am passionate about Startups and how they drive our economy and future. I am committed to supporting, mentoring and doing everything I can to help good startups become growing companies.
