Startup Weekend is coming to The Conejo Valley!
Startup Weekend Conejo Valley will bring together local entrepreneurs, developers, designers and startup enthusiasts intent on learning what is like to share ideas, form teams, and practice launching a startup over 54 hours.
Attendees will pitch their ideas to the audience in 60 seconds or less. After teams form, the rest of the weekend will be spent implementing the most popular ideas – typically web apps, mobile apps, and hardware – with the help of mentors and seasoned startup entrepreneurs. By Sunday, teams will be ready to present their ideas before a panel of judges who include Westlake Village Mayor Ned Davis, Rene Rock, winner of the 2014 MITx, Global Start-up Competition Bootcamp at MIT and Evan Forster Founder of Huddle Campus.
Winners will be awarded prizes, including 3 months of co-working space at Huddle Campus located inside Cal Lutheran's Entrepreneurship center in Westlake Village. All participants will also get a free week of co-working space.
A free Startup Weekend community Q&A is scheduled for 28th 2015 from 6:00 pm till 7:30 at Huddle Campus 31416 Agoura Road, Westlake Village, CA.
