Startup Weekends are 54-hour events designed to provide superior experiential education for technical and non-technical entrepreneurs. Beginning with Friday night pitches and continuing through brainstorming, business plan development, and basic prototype creation, Startup Weekends culminate in Sunday night demos and presentations. Participants create working startups during the event and are able to collaborate with like-minded individuals outside of their daily networks.

An award-winning serial entrepreneur, she is the 2014 winner of the MITx Global Start-up Competition Bootcamp at Massachusetts Institute of Technology. Reneé has successfully launched two companies in the cosmetic and smart home technology industries, and is currently the co-founder of UpLook, an early-stage fashion technology start-up out of MITx.An accomplished innovation strategist, Reneé is well-known for her work in identifying new markets for growth-stage companies. As managing director of business development for Summit Venture Strategies from 2002 to 2007, she served as interim vice president of marketing and business development at several start-up companies.
My goal is to give every person and every type of business a reason to play their role in that ecosystem. From student to professor, small business to corporation, resident to politician, grade school to university, startup to investor...they are all vital to the success of the other.
Success only leads to more success. 805 Startups is my vehicle to driving the success of the entire region.

In 2005 he formed The Wealth Creator Company, Inc. and renamed to The Wealth Creator Company for Women, Inc. in 2009.
They focus on money coaching and financial education for divorced and widowed women using our uniquely created money coaching systems, tools and processes.
Hello there! My name is Danielle Sylos and I am a UX (user experience) and UI (user interface) designer. I have my degree in Merchandising and Marketing from CSUN and have worked as a Trainer at Apple for 7 years. Most recently I was living in the bay area working as a UX/UI designer for Apple on their Global Retail Marketing team. I am passionate about design, art, nature, food, and adventure. Fun fact about me is that I studied art history in Florence, Italy.
