Join us for this weekend of fun, ideas and entrepreneurial energy!

Do you have an idea you'd like to pursue or a problem you'd like to solve but don't know where to start or who to start with?

Techstars Startup Weekend is the place to look for a team, create a prototype of your idea, validate your business idea, and receive feedback from experienced entrepreneurs, all in one weekend.

What do you need to bring?

Lots of energy! You'll pitch your own idea or listen to others, then vote on the most interesting ideas and form teams with diverse skill sets. You can come with friends, but you’ll get the full experience if you participate in separate teams. Remember, it’s all about the team.

Your idea should be something you have not previously worked on. The idea you pitch and the problem you set out to solve can span social, educational, financial, environmental, or other issues. Over the course of the weekend you'll be challenged to create a prototype of your MVP, or minimum viable product, that fits the needs of your target customer. You'll get feedback, iterate, and likely pivot your approach entirely! Important: You cannot have worked previously on your idea.

Techstars Startup Weekend is a full weekend long experience. Your ticket includes:
  • 7 full (and delicious) meals over the course of the weekend
  • Benefits and discounts from our global partners
  • One-on-one time with amazing mentors
  • A new network of developers, designers, and entrepreneurs eager, like you, to change the world.
  • All the internet and coffee you can consume.

Watch the video below to see what you can expect, and if you’re feeling inspired click on the “Buy Ticket” button now!

Shannon Daniels
Founder & CEO

I was a corporate ladder climber, and did quite well for myself. I ran sales and marketing departments, developed and implemented strategy, drove branding and creative, lead teams to success and made some good dough while I was at it. But I felt something was missing and had always had an entrepreneurial itch, so I left my job and began a coaching business. That business has evolved over the years, and I now leverage my communication, public speaking, marketing and sales expertise to help start-ups and small businesses grow.

But that's not all I do. I'm one of those weirdos who actually LOVES to get up and talk in front of a crowd, so I do it as often as possible. I lead training sessions, deliver motivational speeches, do book readings (oh yeah, I wrote a book too)...you name it. I also teach communication and public speaking courses at the college level.

As a presenter and public speaking teacher/coach I've become quite frustrated with the majority of presentation software available. There are so many important features missing and those that do have cool features are not easy to use. That's why I've set out on a mission to develop a presentation application that will be everything a speaker needs in one, easy-to-use application. As a bonus, it will increase audience engagement and provide valuable reporting metrics. How cool is that!?

I'm not quite ready to reveal my application, as it's still in the early stages, but it will make presenting easier and more fun than ever before (even for novices and anxiety-ridden speakers). Want to know more? Follow me or connect with me. As I'm able to release information and updates, I'll do so here.

Keith Reynolds
Founder, Publ.io

I help managers and entrepreneurs succeed by taking the mystery out of ROI, developing impactful strategies and getting global teams like yours on board to perform at the highest levels.

Today, understanding your audience, a solid content strategy, teamwork, and operational alignment are critical for getting results from digital marketing. That's the "why" behind the PUBLISHER’S M.O. The model for SEO, content marketing, and social media I have found works best for growth is that of "brand publisher," as publishing has historically been a wealth creation strategy.

Marketers who build an audience and meaningful connections with today's digital tools can develop a valuable growth engine if things are set up properly. With brand publishing, value is created by leads generated, opportunities created and money saved, rather than advertising sales, or sponsorship revenue sought by traditional publishers.
