Launch an Internet of Things (IoT) Startup in a Weekend

On May 29th, hardware and software will collide at Galvanize’s brand-new location for a special Startup Weekend - focused exclusively on launching the next generation of IoT companies.

The winning team gets to stick around Galvanize after the weekend ends, each member will be awarded with a 1-month membership at Galvanize - Platte.

The idea of building a hardware prototype with software and internet connectivity integrated into it over the course of a weekend would have seemed crazy even a few years ago. Today, it isn't at all.  The emergence of numerous internet-connected prototyping boards like Spark.io empower entrepreneurs to prototype connected hardware as easily, and quickly as a web application. All weekend long, you will have access to prototyping software, hardware, and tools that will make it possible to create an MVP and launch your business by Sunday night, just in time for the final pitch!

We are incredibly fortunate to have Spark.io as a sponsor for this event.  They will be donating 15 maker kits with Spark core prototyping boards.  These boards and kits are designed specifically for IoT prototyping, perfect for Startup Weekend.

Like every Startup Weekend. you'll meet amazing people, enjoy great food, and have an experience working like you've never worked before.

IoT provides massive opportunities for the next generation of entrepreneurs, be one of them.

Learn more, join us the weekend of May 29th - 31st for Startup Weekend: IoT.
